Abstract

Abstract Premature rupture of membranes (KPD) or Premature Rupture Of The Membrane (PROM) is a rupture of the membranes before delivery if the opening in primi is less than 3 cm and in multi it is less than 5 cm. Based on the latest data obtained at Idaman Banjarbaru Hospital, mothers who experienced KPD in 2016 were 145 mothers with KPD out of 1594 mothers giving birth (9%) and in 2017 there was an increase of 242 mothers experiencing KPD out of 1974 mothers giving birth (12.25%). This study aimed to discover the factors that influence the incidence of premature rupture of membranes (PROM) in women giving birth. Research method: The research design used in this research is descriptive. The population in this study were all mothers with premature rupture of membranes at Idaman Banjarbaru Hospital in 2017 as many as 242 people. The sampling technique used systemic random sampling with a total sample of 152 people—a collection tool for medical record data documentation. The analysis used is univariate analysis with a percentage formula. The results showed that the number of mothers giving birth with KPD based on the causal factors at Idaman Banjarbaru Hospital in 2017 was caused by abnormalities in the location of the fetus as many as 8 people (5.3%), age factor <20 &> 35 years as many as 34 people (22.4%) ), parity factors 1&>4 were 80 people (52.6%), and multiple pregnancy factors were 6 people (3.9%). Suggestions for routine ANC in pregnant women and the need for further research on other factors that can cause premature rupture of membranes. Keywords: Factors, KPD, mothers giving birth

Abstract

Based on a study on the determinants of maternal death conducted by the Research and Development Agency of Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2012, 4.1% of maternal deaths in Indonesia occurred due to miscarriage. The risk factors for miscarriage involve fetal, maternal and external factors. Although maternal factors only contribute 15% to the incidence of miscarriage, they should be considered important to note, especially in efforts to prevent miscarriage. One of the contributors to high rate of miscarriage cases in South Kalimantan is Banjar District. This study aims to analyze the effect of maternal factors of pregnancy spacing and gravida on the incidence of miscarriage. This was an analytical observational study with a case control design. The case group involved all pregnant women with miscarriage as many as 61 respondents and the control group involved 244 respondents (1:4). The current study was conducted in the work area of Astambul Community Health Center, Banjar District, South Kalimantan in 2022. Secondary data were collected and further analyzed using the chi square test. P value of <0.05 was considered statistically significant. The results of the study revealed that pregnancy spacing and gravida had no significant effect on the incidence of miscarriage with p=0.405 and p=0.341, respectively (P>a). It can be concluded that there was no effect of pregnancy spacing and gravida on the incidence of miscarriage. Keywords: Gravida, Miscarriage, Pregnancy Spacing

Abstract

Many clients (Women of Reproductive Age/WUS) are reluctant to do a clinical breast examination (SADARNIS). Clients feel embarrassed and worried if a disease is found or diagnosed with a certain disease. There are some WUS who think that they don't feel any complaints about their breasts so they feel they don't need routine breast examinations. Even though early detection and prevention of morbidity and mortality due to breast cancer is very important. Breast cancer can be detected independently by routine breast self-examination (BSE) and awareness. If a woman has breast cancer who previously did not do BSE or BSE regularly, she is likely to come to a health facility in a severe condition. Therefore, it is necessary to support women to be confident so they want to do awareness routinely. This support is mainly from the husband and/or family. The role of the husband or family has proven to be effective in providing opportunities for women to be aware of routinely. Keywords: Family Role, Breast Examination

Abstract

This research uses a cross sectional approach. The independent variables are family income, meal frequency, basic immunization status and the dependent variable is the incidence of under-five children (BGM). Samples were taken using a type-type sampling technique of 237 toddlers. The research instruments used KMS for toddlers, questionnaires, registers for toddlers, and scales. Data processing using the Chi square statistical test with α = 0.05 with a confidence level of 95%. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between family income and the incidence of BGM under five (ρ=0.000), a relationship between eating frequency and the incidence of BGM under five (ρ=0.003), and a relationship between basic immunization status and the incidence of BGM under five (ρ=0.004). The results of this research show a relationship between family income, frequency of eating, basic immunization status and the incidence of BGM in the West Martapura Health Center work area in 2019.
