Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Information System Application for Student Activities (SIAS) program in improving the discipline of female students at Pondok Modern Daarul Hikmah Bontang during the 2023/2024 academic year. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of the SIAS application has a positive impact on the discipline of female students. The application assists the Musyrifah in effectively supervising and controlling the activities of female students within the Pondok Modern Daarul Hikmah Bontang environment through Android phones. Additionally, the presence of the SIAS application has led to increased discipline among female students, as evidenced by their participation in boarding school activities and a reduction in rule violations. The implications of the Information System Application for Student Activities are designed by considering needs that encompass various important aspects, as the application is equipped with features that greatly aid in the supervision and control of female students' activities.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research. The source of data was obtained from interviews with deputy principals and teachers of Akidah Akhlak. Observations were carried out in accordance with the needs of the data, in addition to these two sources, the researcher also distributed questionnaires to students as respondents as many as 51. The results of the respondents' data were analyzed using Likert scale analysis. After the test is carried out, it will show the results of the research. The results of the study show that google formĀ  media has a significant effect on the improvement of learning outcomes of Moral Beliefs, this can be proven if the tcount value is > from the table, then the test decision is r significant correlation analysis, Ho analysis is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the calculation, it can be seen that the tcount > ttable or 5,373 > 2,007, then Ha is accepted. The conclusion shows that there is an influence of the use of google formĀ  media on the improvement of learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak students of MI AL-Hijrah Bontang.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and find out the Implementation of Character Education Values QS Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in the Digital Age. This surah is an affirmation as well as a guide for all human beings from various walks of life on the importance of ethics, manners, and character, especially in the digital era in associating in the surrounding environment, both with fellow Muslims and non-Muslims, so that a stable condition will be created between hablun minallahi and hablun minannasi. The method used is qualitative. The focus of research on class III students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that QS Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 which are carried out properly will provide direction, teaching and control of educators so that students feel closer to God, avoid prejudice, respect and tolerance for each other so that a comfortable atmosphere grows in the environment, especially in the digital era. It can be concluded that the values of character education in QS Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in the digital era can provide guidance to students because it contains three educational values such as the value of character education respecting each other, the value of education to be kind, the value of tolerance education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and investigate the implementation of IT-based inquiry learning in enhancing the learning enthusiasm of Islamic Education for grade V students at SDIT Yabis Bontang during the academic year 2023/2024. The method used is qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects are students, and the results of the research show that the systematic application of IT-based inquiry learning by teachers creates a dynamic and interactive learning environment. The use of technology such as computers and projectors makes learning materials more interesting and easier for students to understand, which increases their activeness in asking questions, discussing, and collaborating. Observations and interviews revealed that students are more enthusiastic and frequently attend classes, and show improved academic results. Teachers reported that this method helps students understand religious concepts better and more relevantly. Overall, the implementation of IT-based inquiry learning has proven effective in enhancing learning enthusiasm and student engagement, creating varied and interesting learning, and improving their critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This article discusses the Efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Increasing Religious Moderation of Class VII Students of State Junior High School 07 Bontang. This study aims to determine how the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing religious moderation of grade VII students of State Junior High School 07 Bontang. Religious moderation is the creation of tolerance, mutual respect and respect between religions with one another. The purpose of this study is how the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing religious moderation at Sekolah Menengah Junior Negeri 07 Bontang. Whether the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers can increase religious moderation at Sekolah Menengah Junior Negeri 07 Bontang. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach. Where researchers go directly to the field to find out the phenomena that occur, in accordance with the problem formulation that has been prepared. Data collection that researchers do through interviews, observations, and documentation using data analysis, data presentation and conclusions. From the results of the study can be concluded as follows: Teachers' efforts in increasing religious moderation for students are indirect learning, direct learning and habituation in religious moderation for students. The efforts of Islamic religious education teachers can improve such as establishing cooperation and getting full support by school principals, parents and teachers. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of facilities in religious moderation.

Abstract

This study employs a qualitative approach to understand the implementation of Islamic values and teacher performance in Islamic educational institutions. The research was conducted at MA Al Mufid, focusing on teachers' skills in opening and closing lessons and their impact on students' learning engagement. Primary data sources included teachers, students, and staff, while secondary data consisted of documented school records. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and document reviews, then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The findings revealed that teachers' skills in opening lessons, such as capturing students' attention, presenting learning objectives, and conducting apperception, significantly contributed to student motivation and engagement. Meanwhile, closing skills, including reviewing lessons, evaluating, and providing follow-up activities, helped students understand and apply the material learned. However, some skills, such as the use of teaching aids and apperception, were not yet fully optimized. Data validity was ensured through triangulation and other methods to verify the accuracy of findings. This study highlights the importance of enhancing teachers' skills to support effective and sustainable learning processes.

Abstract

This article addresses the use of gadgets in improving Arabic language learning achievements during the COVID-19 pandemic for sixth-grade students at MI Ar-Riyadh Hidayatullah Bontang by Arabic language subject teachers, aiming to implement distance learning systems that enable students to excel in their studies. The research background focuses on the use of gadgets in education during the recent year of the COVID-19 pandemic. The researcher's objectives are to understand the impact of gadget use on learning achievements and to identify the actions taken by teachers to enhance Arabic language learning achievements at MI Ar-Riyadh Hidayatullah Bontang, specifically in the sixth grade. The research method employed is qualitative, using data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by data analysis involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research findings indicate that gadgets have had a significant impact on the students' learning, and while the impact has been mostly positive, it has also been gratifying in improving student achievements. The use of gadgets in improving Arabic language learning achievements for sixth-grade students at MI Ar-Riyadh Hidayatullah Bontang has resulted in both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact can turn negative when overused, and student achievements are evaluated based on intellectual performance, attitude, skills, as well as obedience and discipline. In conclusion, the current impact of gadget use is of concern as it tends to lean more towards negative aspects due to the evolving challenges of the modern era. MI Ar-Riyadh needs to remain focused on maintaining the existing learning achievements through various methods and approaches to withstand the waves of declining academic performance and to nurture a generation of excellence that is well-prepared to face challenges.

Abstract

The belief system (Aqidah) and ethics (Akhlak) are guidelines that demand good behavior from Muslims, in their daily lives as well as in specific behaviors. This is very important so that the future generations of Muslims can have good conduct. Concern or social attitudes are actions, not just thoughts or feelings. Showing concern is not just about knowing what is right or wrong, but also having the willingness to take even the smallest actions. This research aims to determine whether the understanding of Aqidah Akhlak material affects the improvement of students' social concern. The data collection methods used include interviews, observations, questionnaires, and the SPSS application. The collected data will be analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The research population consists of all 38 seventh-grade students at MTs Alam Al Hafidz Baiturrahman. From the percentage calculation of the Questionnaire Variables (X) Aqidah Akhlak and variable (Y) students' social concern, it can be concluded that the students' understanding of Aqidah Akhlak material falls within the interval class of 50-24, with 16 respondents being high (42.10%), 21 respondents being moderate (55.26%), and 1 respondent being low (2.63%). Thus, the students' understanding of Aqidah Akhlak material is moderate at 55.26%. The students' social concern falls within the interval class of 47-22, with 19 respondents being high (50%), 11 respondents being moderate (28.94%), and 8 respondents being low (21.05%). Therefore, the social concern of the seventh-grade students is classified as high at 50%. The research results show an increase in students' social concern as evidenced by the Hypothesis Test results, which indicate that the calculated value (r) is greater than the table value (0.463-0.320). Thus, the understanding of Aqidah Akhlak material can significantly influence students. Therefore, the understanding of Aqidah Akhlak material can be applied to the entire student population at MTs Alam Al Hafidz Baiturrahman Bontang.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of an online learning system to improve the learning discipline of Aqidah Akhlak during the COVID-19 pandemic for seventh-grade students at SMP Islam Ar-Riyadh Hidayatullah Bontang. The research aims to understand how the distance learning system was implemented and the measures taken by teachers to enhance learning discipline. Employing a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, the findings reveal that the Aqidah Akhlak teacher plays a pivotal role in creating an engaging learning atmosphere, which significantly contributes to instilling discipline among students. The use of applications such as WhatsApp, Google Forms, Classroom, and Zoom Cloud supports discipline in attending lessons, completing assignments, and submitting tasks on time. Despite challenges and mixed reactions to the implementation, the study highlights that innovation in education can drive success if accompanied by a readiness to adapt and evolve.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the One Day One Juz (ODOJ) program and to assess the improvement in Quranic recitation (Tahsinul Quran) among Quranic teachers. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative system. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The subjects of the research are Quranic teachers involved in the ODOJ program. Interviews were conducted to gather information on the experiences, perspectives, and challenges faced by teachers in implementing this program. The results indicate that the ODOJ program has had a significant positive impact on the improvement of Quranic recitation among teachers. Digital technology, such as Quranic apps and social media, has been highly beneficial in the execution of this program. Additionally, interactions through WhatsApp groups have enhanced teachers' motivation and commitment to achieving their daily targets. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that ODOJ has successfully improved the Quranic recitation skills of the teachers, supported by digital technology and social media interactions, particularly through WhatsApp groups.
