Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Korean Wave culture on improving learning outcomes and improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes due to the influence of Korean Wave culture. This research uses quantitative methods. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to grade X students, and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to determine the effect of Korean Wave culture variables on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of Korean Wave culture on improving Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. Students who were exposed to Korean Wave culture showed increased motivation to learn, active participation in class, and better learning outcomes compared to students who were not exposed to the culture. Data analysis showed that exposure to Korean Wave culture improved comprehension of Islamic Education materials, increased students' engagement in class discussions, and improved their academic grades in Islamic Education subjects. This study concludes that Korean Wave culture has a positive impact on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of grade X students at SMK Yayasan Karya Pembangunan Pendidikan Bontang. Therefore, educators are advised to consider using relevant elements of popular culture in their teaching strategies to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes. This research also provides insights for schools and parents regarding the importance of understanding and utilising cultural trends that students are interested in to support a more effective and engaging learning process. Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of PAI teachers in improving the quality of adab learning and adab coaching. The learning of adab aims to create individuals who obey Allah in their daily lives, interact well in the environment, and follow Islamic guidelines. The approach used is descriptive qualitative research by collecting data through observation, interviews, and document reviews. The results of the study show that the role of teachers includes supervision of daily activities, mentoring, guidance, and direct direction of adab learning. Teachers play a role in implementing adab activities, getting used to adab in daily life, and supporting activities in accordance with Islamic sharia to ensure a thorough understanding of adab. Other important factors include the expertise of teachers, a routine daily learning schedule, and textbooks as a learning guideline for students at Hidayatullah High School. The ultimate goal is to produce students who have faith, noble character, and become role models in society. Based on this, it is concluded that the important role of PAI teachers in improving the quality of student manners learning. Teachers play a role in supervising, guiding, and providing direction in the application of daily manners in accordance with Islamic guidelines. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and document studies, the results of the study show that learning adab is effective through habituation of adab in daily life and activities in accordance with Islamic law. This is expected to create students who obey Allah and have.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Quizizz application in improving the academic performance of Grade VIII Islamic Education (PAI) students at SMP Negeri 4 Bontang Barat in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research employs an experimental method with 15 Muslim students as subjects. The learning process was conducted by integrating the Quizizz application as an evaluation and interactive learning tool. Data collection was done through written tests before and after using the Quizizz application, as well as several direct observation activities during the learning process. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement in students' academic performance after using Quizizz. Student scores increased from the lowest score of 55 in the initial test to 70 for the lowest score in the final test. Additionally, observations during the learning process revealed that students were more enthusiastic and motivated in participating in Islamic Education lessons due to the interactive features of Quizizz, which made learning more engaging and enjoyable. Recommendations are given to teachers to consider using the Quizizz application or similar applications in the learning process to enhance student motivation, interest in learning, academic performance, and student engagement. The study also suggests that further research be conducted with a larger sample and in other subjects to test the consistency of the results and to expand the understanding of the effectiveness of technology use in education. The conclusion of this study is that the application of Quizizz is quite effective in making students show high enthusiasm and actively respond to quizzes. The data shows a significant increase in students' average scores after using Quizizz.

Abstract

Shalat as the main foundation of a Muslim has an irreplaceable role. This applies in all eras, from the era of the Prophet Muhammad to the current era of digitalization. In order to increase a Muslim's awareness of the importance of the five daily prayers, various learning methods and media have been created, one of which is using a daily journal. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the Prayer Implementation Control Book (BKPS) in an effort to improve the discipline of the five daily prayers of class VII D students at SMPN 2 Bontang and to determine the increase in discipline of the five daily prayers by implementing this book in the era of digitalization. This research is a type of qualitative research, namely research whose findings are not obtained through statistical procedures but rather based on the researcher's approach to the process of understanding and interpreting field conditions. Data was obtained from observations, interviews and documents. The research results show that the Prayer Implementation Control Book (BKPS) is a daily journal consisting of 14 pages. The use of this book is for students, students are asked to fill in the tables contained in it every day according to actual conditions. The use of the Prayer Implementation Control Book (BKPS) is effective in improving the prayer discipline of class VII D students at SMP Negeri 2 Bontang. The data source states that with the existence of BKPS they are aware that as Muslims they have the obligation to pray five times every day. So as to bring out the expected disciplined character.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using YouTube as a learning medium in improving Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning outcomes for class V students at SDN 013 South Bontang in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is motivated by the rapid development of digital technology which has changed the way teaching and learning in schools. The use of YouTube as a digital platform is expected to have a positive impact on PAI learning. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were PAI teachers and fifth grade students at SDN 013 South Bontang. The research results show that using YouTube as a learning medium can improve student learning outcomes. Learning videos available on YouTube allow students to understand the material better through interactive visualizations and explanations. In addition, the use of YouTube also facilitates independent learning where students can access material anytime and anywhere. However, the effectiveness of using YouTube is also influenced by several factors such as the availability of internet access, the teacher's ability to select and present relevant content, and support from parents in accompanying children while studying. Thus, this research concludes that YouTube can be an effective tool in PAI learning in the digital era, as long as it is supported by adequate infrastructure and active involvement from all related parties. This research contributes to the development of learning strategies that are innovative and relevant to current technological developments.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of the digital Mind Mapping method in increasing interest in learning Islamic religious education in class IV students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bontang. Utilizing the digital Mind Mapping Method, the easiest way to put information into the brain and take information out of the brain, can also be categorized as a creative note-taking technique. The method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that there are differences in students' enthusiasm in their interest in learning Islamic religious education material using the lecture method and Mind Mapping in the application. It can be concluded that digital mind mapping helps students understand the concepts of Islamic religious education better, students are more involved and active in the learning process. Students find it easier to access and manage information and increase their interest in learning.

Abstract

The digital era has demanded rapid adaptation in the education sector, where information is accessible in real-time, anytime, and anywhere. The advancement in science and technology requires educators to grasp the digital world to create an effective learning environment that enhances students' abilities and creativity. Digital literacy has become a fundamental skill essential for teaching and learning activities, including sourcing, identifying, accessing, evaluating, and integrating information. This study aims to (1) explore how digital literacy can improve the learning outcomes of Islamic History and Culture for students at MA Al Mufid Teluk Pandan for the 2023/2024 academic year, and (2) identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting the role of digital literacy in enhancing learning outcomes. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to describe strategies for improving digital literacy competencies in Islamic History and Culture education. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, with data validity ensured by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study found that (1) digital literacy implementation involved using available digital media such as social media, the internet, e-books, and smartphones, as well as digital applications like WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and YouTube in the learning process. (2) Supporting factors included training workshops, IT facilities like computers, LCDs, Wi-Fi, and data package subsidies, while inhibiting factors comprised unstable internet connections and geographical distances. (3) The evaluation of digital literacy implementation in Islamic History and Culture learning involved several stages: planning with lesson plans aligned with learning objectives, execution using necessary technology to maximize learning, and evaluation through assigning tasks to students.

Abstract

The use of the Tarteel application as an effort made by teachers to motivate students to be enthusiastic in preparing their memorization of the Al-Quran. This study aims to increase interest in learning tahfidz lessons at SMAIT Daarul Hikmah Boarding School by utilizing the Tarteel application. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe and analyze social phenomena related to student learning motivation. The steps for using the application are that users download it via the Playstore and activate the user's email account, then select the memorization feature by turning off the eye icon at the bottom of the screen and starting to memorize by activating the microphone icon at the bottom right of the screen. The results of the study showed that interest in learning tahfidz increased as seen from the activeness of students when, so that negative habits such as laziness and sleepiness no longer exist and make teachers more enthusiastic in teaching. In conclusion, the Tarteel application is effective in increasing students' interest and quality of learning tahfidz.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of using digital media Wordwall towards increasing the activeness of classroom students' Islamic religious education learning VI at SD Negeri 010 North Bontang for the 2023/2024 academic year. Digital media Wordwall is a learning application that can simplify the learning process so this research aims to determine the impact of use learning applications and knowing the increase in learning activities students, the research method used is quantitative using a sample of 83 students. Data is collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation Apart from the impact, there has also been an increase active PAI learning through digital media Wordwall which produces results an increase of 13.9%. Based on the results of data processing and data analysis So it can be concluded that there is an impact from Wordwall digital media towards increasing active learning in Islamic religious education, along with its impacts Active learning about Islamic religious education through the media is also increasing digital word wall.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Ar-Rasyid method in improving Arabic language comprehension in the digital era for grade X students of SMA IT DHBS. The research method used is qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Ar-Rasyid method is able to significantly improve students' understanding of the basic rules of nahwu science. The structured approach of this method, which combines memorization with songs and practice, has proven effective in improving students' Arabic language skills. This study also highlights the importance of digital tools and resources in supporting the Ar-Rasyid method, creating a more engaging learning environment. Overall, this study shows that the Ar-Rasyid method is effective in improving Arabic language comprehension in the digital era, with improved students' abilities in translating verses of the Qur'an, reading, and writing in Arabic. However, the study notes that the application of this method requires more in-depth explanation and correct sequence, especially for students without a background in Arabic.
