Abstract

Tana Toraja is inhabited by multicultural societies consisting of various ethnic and religious backgrounds. The tolerance embedded in the Toraja community is the key to peace in an environment without discrimination. This research focuses on Tana Toraja's value of tolerance for religious life in the midst of diversity. The Toraja community is a plural society in terms of religion because it is dominated by Christianity as a majority. This reality is a wealth but also a potential inter-religious conflict. Therefore, the prayer that continues to live in the Toraja people's lives, the Mass kada dipotuo, the ex-Kada dipomate is the key to the peace that is secured for the life of the Tóraja people due to the family and emotional bonds. This study uses a type of library research, which is a series of data gathering on books and reference journals that discuss the same issues related to the value of religious moderation in Tana Toraja: misa kada dipotuo, pantan kada dipomate. The results of this study, is to study how the history and philosophy of Tana toraja and how cultivation of the religious moderators in the Tana Toraj: missa kada Dipotuo.

Abstract

The Panai’ money tradition in Indonesia has experienced a shift in meaning and practice in the contemporary era. The increase in its value triggers financial burdens, delays in marriage, disputes between families, and exploitation of women. The phenomenon of "commercialization" of marriage reinforces the stereotype of women as an economic burden. This research aims to analyze the shift in the panai money paradigm from an Islamic legal perspective. The research method used is qualitative with an interdisciplinary approach, combining Islamic law, anthropology, sociology and economics. Data was collected through literature study and textual analysis of Islamic legal sources related to marriage and dowry. The research results show that the shift in the panai money paradigm is caused by social, economic and cultural factors. Islamic law offers a solution to overcome this paradigm shift by emphasizing justice, balance, and prohibiting the "commercialization" of marriage. Panai money should be a symbol of appreciation and commitment in building a harmonious household life.

Abstract

This research explains the Mappatekka Dui' Tradition which is considered a symbol of appreciation and respect for other people. Giving money or gifts to someone is considered an expression of gratitude and recognition for the services or assistance provided. And Islamic legal views regarding the Mappatekka Dui' Tradition. The problem solving method uses qualitative techniques with observation and interviews. The results obtained state that Mappatekka Dui' is a procession that is often carried out in the context of weddings. This procession marks an agreement between two parties and strengthens social relations and cultural values passed down from generation to generation. The Mapatekka Dui' tradition reviewed in the Al-Urf' method can be said to be a tradition that does not cause damage or harm because this tradition is only a tribute to the eldest sister who was stepped over by her younger sister to step into marriage.

Abstract

This research explores the Bugis customary law tradition, Sigajang Laleng Lipa', from the perspective of national and Islamic law. This tradition is used as a last resort in conflict resolution through duelling inside the sarong. The aim of this research is to fill the gap of previous studies by focusing on prevention strategies from the perspective of national and Islamic law. The research method is descriptive-analytical qualitative with document analysis. The results show that Sigajang Laleng Lipa' contradicts Indonesian positive law that prohibits physical violence, as well as being incompatible with Islamic law that encourages peaceful dispute resolution. This research contributes by identifying prevention strategies through law enforcement, apparatus training, socialisation, and strengthening the value of peace in Islam. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of national and Islamic legal perspectives to prevent the return of this tradition. The results are expected to provide an understanding of the synergy between national and Islamic law in preserving cultural values while upholding justice and peace.

Abstract

The target beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH) are impoverished and vulnerable families or individuals. The distribution of assistance under the Family Hope Program in Paleteang District, Pinrang Regency, has not been effective or in accordance with the established guidelines. This study aims to assess the relationship between Financial Management Behavior and the Financial Well-Being of Family Hope Program beneficiaries in Paleteang District, Pinrang Regency, and to examine the impact of Financial Management Behavior on the Financial Well-Being of these beneficiaries in the same area. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an associative approach, employing field research through surveys or questionnaires. The data is analyzed using descriptive analysis, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, correlation tests, hypothesis tests, and simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Financial Management Behavior has a positive and significant relationship with the Financial Well-Being of Family Hope Program beneficiaries in Paleteang District, Pinrang Regency. This is evidenced by a Pearson correlation value of 0.564 with a significance value of 0.000, indicating that the two variables have a moderate, positive, and significant correlation. Furthermore, Financial Management Behavior significantly affects Financial Well-Being, as demonstrated by a t-value greater than the t-table value (6.694 > 1.985) with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the history of Islam's arrival in the Netherlands, its subsequent development, and the global spread of Islamophobia, a phenomenon that has caused concern for the Muslim community. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a library study method and a historical perspective. The data for this study was gathered from diverse literary sources from a range of journals, books, and news outlets. The study's findings revealed that Indonesians were the first immigrants to settle in the Netherlands, arriving around 1945. The life of the Muslim community in the Netherlands is dynamic, and its growth rate has been irresponsible, particularly among Native Dutch youth, such as students, who have studied Islam extensively. This is due to the perception that Islam is a religion that promotes terrorism and legalizes murder. Anti-Islamic causes, both domestically and internationally, contribute significantly to people's misconceptions about the origins of Islamic phobias, exemplified by the September 11, 2001, case in the United States.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to describe 1) the improvement in ball-kicking skills using the active learning model combined with small-sided games in class VII-4 students of SMP 9 Parepare, and 2) the improvement in ball-stopping skills using the same model. The research method used is classroom action research with two cycles. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The results showed that 1) the application of the active learning model combined with small-sided games in soccer lessons conducted over two cycles improved the ball-kicking skills of class VII-4 students. This was evident from the increase in the average ball-kicking ability of students from 64.1 initially to 73.7 (in cycle 1), and further increasing to an average of 82.4 in the second cycle, with a KKM achievement rate of 92.5%. 2) The active learning model combined with small-sided games improved the ball-stopping skills of class VII-4 students at SMP 9 Parepare. This was based on the increase in the average student score, which before the intervention was only 64.5, increasing to an average of 73.45 (cycle 1), and further increasing in cycle 2 to an average of 80.86, with a KKM achievement rate of 85.1%. The improvement in students' psychomotor scores was accompanied by improvements in their affective and cognitive scores. In the affective aspect, students became more active in learning, more confident in performing in front of their peers, and more enthusiastic in asking questions.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the quality of exam items based on qualitative analysis, focusing on aspects of content, construction, language, and the alignment of material with student capabilities. This study is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The primary data sources for this thesis research are the reviews from three informants, while the secondary data comes from related documents, including blueprints, questions, and answer keys for the final school exam in Arabic language subjects. The research instrument is a checklist filled out by the reviewers. The qualitative analysis in this research is tested using the panel technique, which examines exam items based on the rules of item writing, including reviews of the content, construction, and language/cultural aspects. The results of this study show that out of fifty exam items, five items did not meet the criteria in terms of content, eight items did not meet the criteria in terms of construction, four items were deficient in language aspects, and twelve items were inadequate in terms of alignment with student capabilities. Thus, out of fifty final school exam items, 24 items were considered good, and 26 items were considered poor. The implications of this study emphasize the need for improvements in the preparation of final school exam items to enhance the quality of evaluations and their alignment with student capabilities, as well as the importance of training for exam item writers to improve their competence in creating items that meet established standards

Abstract

Communication is aprocess whereby a person or several people, groups, organizations, and society related information in order to connect with the environment and other poeple. Educationis the internalization of values in the process of human development which has implications for the formation of character which leads to human behavior. Building character is an effort to imrpove, foster, and shape character so that later they are born as human beings with good character. Communication is a method in the process of character building, meaning that in building character, effective communication is needed. This paper describe a comparison of the effectiviteness of communication between parents and teachers in building student character, especially for fifth grade students at sdn 11 Parepare.
