Abstract

called Kopi Buhun. Buhun Coffee is a type of Arabica coffee which is a single origin "special tea coffee". In developing Buhun coffee, land is needed that can be planted with coffee. This land is not only a coffee plantation but can become a tourist attraction that can educate, increase recreation and protect the environment besides that it can economically increase the income of residents around agrotourism. In general, the land of Lake Sunyayuri, Cimarias Village, Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency is an area that has the potential to become a tourist spot with an artificial lake, and a panoramic view of the hills surrounding the lake with a beautiful and calming atmosphere. The productivity of Indonesian coffee is still low compared to the potential that can be increased. The need for plantation land, especially coffee, is still lacking. Utilization of abandoned forest areas in areas with coffee potential can still be carried out, including utilizing the Pamulihan Cekdam area. What is the form of the Sumedang Coffee Agrotourism design in utilizing the existing potential into plantation tourism that provides interesting tourist experiences, recreational facilities, and social interaction as well as coffee education for visitors and the community about how to cultivate coffee from nurseries to products that can be enjoyed and provide a source of income for local communities while preserving the environment?

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the demand for paprika chili continues to increase, along with population growth, nutritional fulfillment, supermarkets, restaurants and export markets. but production so that the level of paprika chili production is still low in Indonesia. The efforts that have been taken are by forming legal entity farmer groups such as the Golden Gate Agricultural Cooperative in Cibodas Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. Koptan G.E Aside from being a provider of saprotan and marketing containers, it is also a vehicle for learning for farmers. Educating member farmers is the main focus of this cooperative work program. The education program held at the G.E Cooperative is in the form of training. To increase the production of paprika chili, the G.E Cooperative held a training on paprika chili farming. This study aims to determine the relationship between the response of farmers to the training activities of paprika chili farming on the increase and production at the Koperasi Gerbang Emas Cibodas Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. To achieve this goal, the type of research used is the case study method that takes the sample by means of saturated samples. The number of respondents was 16 paprika chili farmers who were members of the Gerbang Emas Cooperative who participated in the training of paprika chili farming in 2016. The conclusions from the research are: The application of cultivation techniques to the training of paprika chili farming at the Gerbang Emas Cooperative includes a good category with a cumulative score of 380 (87.96% of expectations). Increased production and income of farmers from GE Koptan members after applying the technical training included in the good category with a cumulative reality score of 262 (77.97% of reality). From the calculation results obtained rscount for 0.64 while rstable for N = 16 and α = 5% or 0.05 for the two-party test get 0.49. This means rscount > rstable or 0.64> 0.49. This means that Ho is rejected, thus there is a significant relationship between the response of farmers to training in paprika chili farming on increasing production and income .

Abstract

Aktivitas antihipertensi adalah zat fitokimia yang menghasilkan kemampuan untuk mengurangi stres oksidatif, menghambat aktifitas angiotensin converting enzim, meningkatkan relaksasi endotel pembuluh darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kandungan flavonoid dan saponin pada pembuatan minuman fungsional, kesukaan yang meliputi warna, aroma, dan tekstur. Penetian ini menggunaka Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 3 perlakuan yaitu penambahn ekstrak telang sebanyak 0,25 gram, 0,50 gram dan 0,75 dan 3 pengulangan. Hasil penelitian penambahan ekstrak bunga telang pada bunga telang menunjukan hasil bahwa penamban 0,750 mg ekstrak bunga telang paling banyak disukai oleh panelis. Minuman fungsional dengan penambahan 0,75mg memiliki kandungan saponin sebanyak 81,8ppm dan kandungan flavonoid sebesar 31,8 mg. tertingg yaitu sebanyak Kandungan gizi dalam minuman fungsional ekstrak bunga telang yaitu total kkal yang terkandung sebanyak 45,1 kkal, protein sebanyak 0,1 gram, lemak 0,1 gram, dan karbohidrat sebanyak 11,4 gram.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The 3R Waste Management Center is located in the Pondok Pekayon Indah housing complex RW 011 Pekayon Jaya sub district, South Bekasi sub district, which is protected by the Environmental Care Movement Foundation, a foundation that has been composting organic waste since 2003. Composting is a process in which organic matter is decomposed biologically, especially by microbes that use organic matter as an energy source. Making compost is to regulate and control this natural process so that compost can form more quickly. The stages of composting carried out by the Environmental Care Movement Foundation include; Garbage collection, waste sorting or sorting, First Enumeration, Transfer and Addition of EM-4 Activator, Fermentation Stage, Second Enumeration, Screening or Screening, Packaging and Storage. The compost produced by the Environmental Care Movement Foundation has been tested by the Laboratory of the Department of Soil Science and Land Resources, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB since 2015 issued by the Sanitation Service of the Bekasi City Government. This is an added value for compost made by the Environmental Care Movement Foundation, because the results of laboratory tests can convince people who will use or even buy compost made by the Environmental Care Movement Foundation. Thus, the compost fertilizer business opportunity for the community (sociopreneurship) is very wide open because the quality of the compost is guaranteed.

Abstract

The high use of wheat flour today makes Indonesia dependent on wheat imports. One of the commodities that can replace wheat is sorghum (Sorghum bicolor [L.] Moench), this is confirmed by various studies. The purpose of this study was to determine the balance of sorghum flour and cowpea flour as raw materials for making cookies which have high starch digestibility characteristics. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) method which consisted of six treatments and three replications. The treatments were the proportions of sorghum flour and cowpea flour of 90:10, 80:20, 70:30 and the proportions of sorghum sprouts flour and cowpea flour were 90:10, 80:20, 70:30. The results showed that cookies with sorghum sprouts flour and cowpea flour 90:10 were the best treatment with 23.35% starch digestibility. Keywords: Cookies, Sorghum, Starch Digestibility.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to influence of substistution flour Indigofera zollingeriana in Rations on performance broiler and to know the percent of the substistration of Indigofera zollingeriana flour that is able to improve performance in the most optimal broiler. This research was conducted in Cihaliwung, RT 01 RW 10, Kertamulya Village, Padalarang District, West Bandung District during 42 days start from January 27 until March 08, 2021. The method used in this research was experimental method with using Complete Randomized Design (CRD), five treatments namely R0 (commercial ration 100%), R1 (commercial ration 90% + 10% Indigofera zollingeriana flour), R2 (commercial ration 85% +15% Indigofera zollingeriana flour), R3 (commercial ration 80% + 20% Indigofera zollingeriana flour), R4 (commercial ration 75% + 25% Indigofera zollingeriana flour) with four replication, each replication consisted of five broilers. The observed changes are ration consumption, daily weight gain, and ration conversion. The collected data was analyzed by ANOVA and Duncan's test. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the substitution of flour Indigofera zollingeriana until 25% in the ration had no significant effect on ration consumption, daily body weight gain and ration conversion.

Abstract

Potted chrysanthemum plants are very popular with the public because of their various colors, sizes and shapes. The experiment was aimed to give the concentration of potassium nitrate (KNO3) which had a good effect on the growth and yield of potted chrysanthemums cyra agrihorti varieties. The experiment was carried out from March to May 2021 in Cimeta Village, Tugumukti Village, Cisarua District, West Bandung Regency at an altitude of 1312 m above sea level. The experiment method used complete randomized design (CRDB) of six treatments and four replications. The KNO3 concentration treatments used were A = 0 g/liter, B = 1 g/liter, C = 2 g/liter, D = 3g/liter, E = 4 g/liter, and F = 5 g/liter. The results showed that the KNO3 concentration treatment had an effect on increasing the growth and yield of potted chrysanthemum plants. Treatment with KNO3 concentration of 4 g/liter (E) and KNO3 concentration of 5 g/liter (F) had a better effect than other treatments on the growth and yield of potted chrysanthemum Cyra Agrohorti varieties

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of the study was to determine the quality of fermented coffee husk using Heryaki probiotic based on lactic acid content, pH, dry matter, and Fleigh value. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Tidar University for 21 days. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments (P0: Coffee husk + 3% molasses), (P1: Coffee husk + 3% molasses + Heryaki probiotic 0.5%), (P2 Coffee husk + 3% molasses + Heryaki probiotic 1%), and (P3: Coffee husk + 3% molasses + Heryaki probiotic 1.5%) each treatment was repeated 5 times. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and continued using Duncan's multiple range test, and calculated using IBM SPSS 21. The results showed that the use of Heryaki probiotic had a significant effect (P<0.05) on lactic acid content, pH, dry matter, and Fleigh value. Treatment with the addition of probiotics as much as 1.5% (P3) was the best treatment againtst lactic acid content, pH and Fleigh value. Treatment without probiotics (P0) resulted in the best BK content. Keywords: coffee husk, fermentation, Heryaki probiotic Abstrak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas fermentasi kulit kopi menggunakan probiotik Heryaki berdasarkan kandungan asam laktat, pH, bahan kering, dan nilai Fleigh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Peternakan dan Perikanan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tidar selama 21 hari. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan (P0: Kulit kopi + 3% molases), (P1: Kulit kopi + 3% molases + probiotik Heryaki 0,5%), (P2 Kulit kopi + 3% molases + probiotik Heryaki 1%), dan (P3: Kulit kopi + 3% molases + probiotik Heryaki 1,5%) setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Data yang dihasilkan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan menggunakan uji jarak berganda Duncan, dihitung menggunakan alat bantu IBM SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan probiotik Heryaki memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) pada kandungan asam laktat, pH, bahan kering, dan nilai Fleigh. Perlakuan dengan penamabahan probiotik sebanyak 1,5% (P3) menghasilkan kandungan asam laktat, pH dan nilai Fleigh terbaik. Perlakuan tanpa penggunaan probiotik (P0) menghasilkan kandungan BK paling baik. Kata-kata kunci: kulit kopi, fermentasi, probiotik Heryaki

Abstract

Jatropha seed cake has potential as ruminant feed, but is constrained by the anti-nutritional and toxic substances contained in it. The aim of the research was to study the effect of using jatropha seed cake in beef cattle rations on fermentability and digestibility. In vitro evaluation was used to study the fermentability and digestibility of beef cattle rations containing 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40% of jatropha seed cake. The experiment used a completely randomized design followed by Duncan's multiple range test with 5 treatments which were repeated 4 times. The variables measured were ammonia, volatile fatty acids, dry matter digestibility and organic matter digestibility. The treatment of rations containing jatropha seed cake resulted in significant changes in fermentability and digestibility (P<0.05), where the use of 20% treatment resulted in the highest of ammonia, volatile fatty acids, dry matter digestibility and organic matter digestibility (P<0.05), namely 3.69 mM, 163.58 mM, 77.88 % and 70.35%, respectively. The conclusion of this research is the use of jatropha seed cake as much as 20% produces the best fermentability and digestibility.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of litter size and mother weight on dairy goat milk production. The research method uses the survey method, data collection is carried out by purposive sampling with the criteria of Kaligesing dairy goats that have been lactation as many as 100 tail. The variables analyzed were the identity of the farmer, litter size, milk production and mother weight. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive analysis and simple correlation analysis. The results showed that the average litter size was 2.04 heads, milk production was 896 ml or 0.9 liters and the parent weight was 44.77 kg. The results of the correlation analysis showed a value of 0.662 or there was a strong relationship between the litter size and the weight of the mother to goat milk production. It can be concluded that the litter size and mother weight have a strong influence on the milk yield of dairy goats.
