Authors who intend to submit a manuscript for publication in JPPI obliged to understand correctly the instructions and the ins and outs of the provisions on this journal. For authors who have never published the article on this journal, we recommend reading all of the term and conditions are listed in the journal. Authors are requested to prepare a manuscript in accordance with the Instructions for preparation of manuscript and then to follow the Author Guidelines for submission. Before the manuscript is submitted to the editorial team, please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to JPPI for writing format and style (Please download and use as a template for the initial manuscript submission). This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guidelines to authors or focus and scope, with great regret will not be processed and automatically rejected. The author who will submit the manuscript after deadline of submission as long as meet the requirement for publication in this journal will be process for next issue. The paper submission and reviewing procedures in JPPI will be processed with the web-based system via the Open Journal System (OJS) by Public Knowledge Project (PKP). We strongly prefer to receive manuscripts via our online submission system. With using our OJS system, authors can upload manuscript files (text, figures, and supplementary information) directly to our office and check on the status of Reviews their manuscripts during the review process.

<![CDATA[Currently, many parents are more careful in choosing a school for their child. Of course, this is understandable, considering their children's future success. In Indonesia, of course, there are many schools, ranging from regular schools to several, that offer several advantages, from facilities to excellent programs to extracurriculars. One of the options for parents today is to send their children to religious-based educational institutions. This study aims to prove the effect of education costs and the location of parents' decisions to send their children through referral groups in Tangerang and South Jakarta. This research uses quantitative research methods. Sampling was based on a purposive sampling method of 100 respondents in Tangerang and South Jakarta using proportional random sampling in Tangerang and South Jakarta. The analytical method used is statistical-partial least square using SEM Lisrel 8.70 analysis software tools. The results of this study show that the cost of education significantly affects the reference group. The location has an effect but is not significant to the reference group. The reference group has an effect, but not significantly, on the decision to send their children to school.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap mekanisme terjadinya kekerasan simbolik pada siswa SD di Kota Palu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Jumlah informan ditetapkan 8 orang guru dan 40 orang siswa yang tersebar di SDN 6 Palu, SDN 12 Palu, SD Inpres Baru, SD Inpres 1 Kawatuna. Dengan analisis datanya model Miles and Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mekanisme terjadinya kekerasan simbolik dalam proses pendidikan yaitu melalui modal kuasa simbolik guru yang dipraktikkan melalui gambar-gambar dalam buku cetak dan digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, materi yang dipaparkan secara tekstual tanpa dikembangkan sesuai dengan kondisi latar belakang kelas sosial siswa, tanpa disadari mewakili dominasi kelompok atas untuk mempertahankan posisi dan memperkenalkan hasil-hasil produksinya untuk menunjang standar kehidupan yang lebih baik di dalam kelas sosialnya. Materi pembelajaran dalam dokumen kurikulum merupakan produk kelas sosial atas yang diproduksi melalui penguasa dan guru mempromisikan pengetahuan tersebut sehingga terjadi kekersan simbolik pada siswa kelas sosial bawah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa mekanisme kekerasan simbolik dalam proses pendidikan terjadi melalui produksi buku-buku pelajaran yang menunjukkan hegemoni kelas ata terhadap kelas bawah dan guru menjadi agen yang menyampaikan kekerasan simbolik tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran perusahaan dengan penghindaran pajak pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2012-2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian yang terpilih ada 6 perusahaan dari jumlah keseluruhan 48 perusahaan sektor pertambangan. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis yang diperoleh dengan Uji t didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa H2 diterima yaitu Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap Penghindaran Pajak. Hasil Uji t juga menunjukkan bahwa koefisien regresi Ukuran Perusahaan sebesar 0,197. Dengan demikian hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Penghindaran Pajak yang diproksikan dengan Cash Effective Tax Rate (CETR). Hal ini berarti semakin besar perusahaan maka penghindaran pajak yang dilakukan perusahaan semakin tinggi.Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis yang diperoleh dengan Uji t didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa H2 diterima yaitu Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap Penghindaran Pajak. <![CDATA[The company is one of the important sectors in improving the country's economy, and every company certainly wants optimal income. Therefore, human resources are an important aspect to continue improving as one of the driving forces so that the company runs optimally through work placements tailored to their abilities. This underlies the researcher to obtain further information about the effect of career development and placement on job satisfaction which impacts the performance of company employees. This study aimed to determine whether Career Development and Placement Affect Job Satisfaction Impacts Company Employee Performance. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires to 50 respondents at XYZ company. The results showed that career development and placement affected job satisfaction, with an influence value of 21.2%. Job satisfaction positively and significantly affected employee performance, with an influence value of 81.7%. So career development is a long process that every company must provide as an obligation to provide opportunities for employees to pursue career development.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan dan menganalisis peningkatan prestasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran RUKAPE berbasis YouTube bagi siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 1 Panjalu pada tahun pelajaran 2022-2023. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan mengembangkan model dari Stephen Kemmis & Robin Mc Taggart berupa siklus perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian sejumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis stattistik deskriptif dengan mencari nilai rerata, persentase keberhasilan belajar. Kriteria keberhasilan tindakan untuk prestasi belajar adalah dengan batas tuntas 75 (KKM = 75) dan ketuntasan kelas sebesar 85%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar PPKn pada kondisi awal, siklus I, dan II. Pada nilai tes kemampuan awal rata-rata kelas 62,5 dengan ketuntasan kelas sebesar 15,6% dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai = 75 berjumlah 5 siswa. Pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 34,3%. Selanjutnya pada siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 37,5% dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai = 75 berjumlah 28 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfatan media pembelajaran RUKAPE berbasis YouTube dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar PPKn pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Panjalu Tahun Pelajaran 2022-2023.]]>

<![CDATA[Business competition due to a dynamic business environment that makes Padang restaurant businesses must have the ability to have a sustainable competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the effect of innovation on sustainable competitive advantage through local wisdom as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was used in this study with 100 respondents. It uses the accidental sampling technique of the Padang restaurant business in Pekanbaru. The analytical tool used is PLS, with research showing that innovation affects competitive advantage through local wisdom as a mediating variable. Local wisdom as a mediating variable shows the novelty of this research as a form of cultural integration to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. The unique value contained in the product is a symbol of a strong identity so that it can appear different from competitors. The value of the authenticity and uniqueness of Padang food as a culinary and cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation is different from competitors. So, every innovation made by Padang restaurants in Pekanbaru based on the values of local wisdom will increase sustainable competitive advantage.]]>

<![CDATA[CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is a tool used by businesses to understand customer demands and behavior in order to deliver the best possible customer service, preserve current relationships, and boost business success. In order to understand how customer engagement and customer relationship management affect business success in digital banks, a study was done. The research population consists of 3.9 million digital bank users in total. 400 samples were acquired after simple random sampling, which was then used to calculate the Slovin formula at an acceptable level of 5%, and multiple linear regression analysis was performed. In this study, there are two independent variables: customer engagement and customer relationship management. The dependent variable is business performance. The results of this study suggest a tight connection between customer relationship management and customer engagement and the operational success of digital banks. The purpose of this research is to present data that the management of digital banks can utilize to make various decisions.]]>

<![CDATA[The Instilling Religious Character Values is one of the efforts to shape individuals who believe in and fear God Almighty. Instilling religious character values as early as possible will be more meaningful for elementary school students. This research focused on the fulfillment of self-development-integrated activities, lesson integrated-religious character values, and culture-integrated religious character values carried out by elementary schools. The problem is that most parents are confused about the best way to do this. Should they take do to prepare their children to face their environment. Calculation of religious character values since elementary school is expected to be one of the child's strongholds in facing change. This study aims to describe the cultivation of religious character values from an early age in the digital 5.0 era which is full of extraordinary challenges. This study uses a qualitative approach to library research (Library Research) taken from various reference books, reports and similar previous research results which are useful for obtaining solutions to the problems and social situations studied. The conclusion is that the teachers communicate teaching and learning through learning-integrated values of religious character and culture-integrated values of religious character carried out by the teacher. Some of the processes of cultivating religious character aims to shape students into intelligent and Islamic generations as a provision for students in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Marriage registration is important for the validity of a marriage because it will provide legal protection and guarantee the rights arising from marriage. Marriages with falsified registration as in this study are sirri marriages where the husband and wife consciously take legal action in the form of forging marriage books. This paper describes the problems, firstly marital status with its falsified recording from the perspective of positive law and Islamic law. Second, the judge's legal considerations. Third, legal protection of rights arising from marriages without registration. The research method used is analytical descriptive. The results of the study show that: First, marital status with falsified records from the perspective of positive law and Islamic law (in this case the Compilation of Islamic Law) is valid and has legal force. However, there are negative implications for the non-fulfillment of the wife's rights as a result of divorce, if the excerpt of a marriage certificate that has been decided by the District Court has no legal force/fake is used as evidence in a divorce case at the Religious Court. Second, the Judge at the Religious Court in his legal considerations stated that even though the marriage certificate was fake, this certificate was made consciously and is known together. The Mataram District Court Judge in his legal considerations was a decision regarding an alleged unlawful act in the form of a fake marriage certificate, not a decision that annulled the marriage. As for marriages carried out without registration, the state cannot provide legal protection unless there is material truth that can be proven in court.]]>

Therefore, the question of the research is how does Question and Answer enhance students’ participation on the 11th grade students of SMAN 2 Sungai KakapKubu Raya in academic year 2021/2022?”. The research was conducted in classroom action research design. The research was conducted in two cycles. On the first cycle, there were only some students who actively participated in the learning activity. On the second cycle, most of the students were very active. The problem about lack of participation was solved. Therefore, it is concluded that question and answer technique is useful in improving students’ participation.]]>
