Abstract

At SDN 11 Batang Anai, participation of 4th grade students in civic learning was low, either in discussing, asking question, or taking conclusion. Teacher used to implement expository method in classroom. This study is a classroom action research that aimed to improve students’ participation in learning civic subject by using model of portfolio-based. In cycle I, percentage of students’ participation for discussing is 58.92%, 49.80% for asking question, and 33.92% for taking conclusion. In cycle II, percentage of students’ participation for discussing is 84.45%, 72.73% for asking question, and 70.95% for taking conclusion. Hence, civics learning that implement model of portfolio-based can improve students’ participation in learning.

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the implementation of internal policy on Civil Servant Officer work performance at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. Internal policy is an urgent item in leading an institution because it guarrantes the individual work performance. The workers will get their good work performance since the internal policy lies on worker side. The method of this research was qualitative descriptive by using field observation and interview as data collection. The data were analyzed into three steps, namely data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. The participants of this research were five administration staff, three lecturers, and five students. It used purposive sampling. The result showed that the implementation of internal policy at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo was not effective. It caused by three problems. Firstly, it is lack of evaluation during the internal policy implemented and after it was implemented. Secondly, it is lack of coordination among stakeholders and the workers (administration staff, lecturers, and the students). Thirdly, it is lack of collaboration among stakeholder and staffs.

Abstract

The study involved 300 MSME customers of PT BSM in North Sumatra, aiming to investigate the impact of learning and memory on financing decisions, with brand equity as a mediating variable. The study also incorporates the Maqasid Shariah perspective. This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach, employing quota sampling techniques for sample selection and utilizing primary data collected through questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. Respondents' perceptions are measured using Likert scales. The research method utilizes the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, with a significance level of 5%. Data processing is conducted using Smart PLS 3.0 software, and references are managed through the Mendeley 7th edition program. The findings reveal that customer motivation affects financing decisions in PT BSM's micro-financing. Customer perception does not affect financing decisions in PT BSM's micro-financing. Customer learning does not affect financing decisions in PT BSM's micro-financing. Customer memory does not affect financing decisions in PT BSM's micro-financing. Customer motivation does not affect brand equity. Customer perception affects brand equity. Customer learning affects brand equity. Customer memory affects brand equity. PT BSM's brand equity influences microfinance decisions. Brand equity mediates the influence between customer psychology on microfinance decisions at PT BSM in North Sumatra. The implications of this study encourage PT BSM to enhance awareness of Shariah banking services, emphasizing the importance of Shariah banks in achieving Maqasid Shariah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sektor apa saja yang ada di wilayah Banggai yang bersifat basic dan non-basi serta mengidentifikasi sektor basis dan non basis dalam perekonomian wilayah Banggai. Untuk menentukan sektor basis dan non basis di Kabupaten Banggai digunakan metode analisis Location Quotient (LQ). Metode LQ merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang umum digunakan dalam model ekonomi basis sebagai langkah awal untuk memahami sektor kegiatan dari PDRB Kabupaten Banggai yang menjadi pemacu pertumbuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan selama periode pengamatan 2014 hingga 2018, hasil analisis location-quantity (LQ) PDRB di Kabupaten Banggai dapat mengidentifikasi sektor dan off-base. Industri pertambangan dan penggalian memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap PDRB di Bangui, menjadikan sektor ini sebagai sektor fundamental. Rata-rata LQ sektor pertambangan dan penggalian sebesar 1,46 yang menunjukkan bahwa sektor tersebut memiliki kekuatan yang baik sehingga cukup berpengaruh untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di Banggai.

Abstract

State defense is a very important field to be realized to be strong, but there are many obstacles to achieving the desired defense goals. Based on the various obstacles, the priority is the provision of quality human resources. Public policy in the field of government regarding the management of civil and military human resources is equally important in realizing human resources that can produce defense technology that has a deterrent effect. This study aims to analyze the national defense system through the analysis of public defense policies in the face of a Revolution in the Military Affairs (RMA). The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data was collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), in-depth interviews and literature review. The characteristics of the informants in this study were 12 students of the year 2020 Marine Defense Strategy study program who had taken state defense strategy courses at the Defense University. The student is a member of the Indonesian Navy (TNI). The results of this study indicate that to realize reliable human resources without losing their identity requires an understanding of defense public policy. Changes in defense technology are also related to the RMA which continues to move forward and affects the interaction of international relations. In addition, in the face of change, the role of education is needed as a tool to keep up with actual and factual changes

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the items of the teacher's innovative work behavior instrument during the Covid 19 pandemic and recommend several things to improve it. The teacher's innovative work behavior instrument was developed through a study of concepts and theories of innovative work behavior until a draft instrument was obtained that met content validity, logical validity, examination by experts to obtain expert validity, and testing of 10 teachers. Instruments that have been corrected based on input from the teacher are then distributed via google-form. Determination of the number of samples in this study using purposive sampling. In this study, researchers chose teachers as respondents with a sample size of 1200. Data analysis used the Rasch model. The findings of this research are that the teacher's innovative work behavior instrument  during the  Covid 19 period, which consists of 11 indicators based on the Rasch model, has met the requirements for use in research. This study recommends 5 things to improve PKIG, namely: (i) making scientific papers, (ii) learning that exceeds the standard, (iii) mentoring other teachers, (iv) pioneering the use of ICT for learning, and (v) struggling to get new ideas/products accepted by others. Based on these recommendations, the implications of this research are that teachers need to be encouraged to conduct research in schools, teach exceeding standards, monitor each other among teachers, cultivate a culture of using learning technology, and promote all teacher innovation products to other parties.

Abstract

This study identifies the role of the Clean Ciliwung Movement (GCB) in the management of the Ciliwung river and how the communication model is built in driving community participation. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews with selected informants, namely from GCB administrators and communities that are members ofciliwung community activists spread across the upstream, middle, and downstream areas of the Ciliwung river. Out of a total of 36 communities that are partners of the GCB, this study took 9 communities representing the three segments of the Ciliwung river. Based on the data obtained, this study found that the role of GCB in managing the Ciliwung river was carried out by focusing on programs that involved partnership programs with stakeholder elements including: government, private sector, community communities, academics, non-governmental organizations, and international institutions. In implementing this program, GCB develops a development communication strategy with an emphasis on community empowerment, namely through network development, competency development, advocacy, and community organizing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine examine the positive impact of customer loyalty in a beauty parlor through customer satisfaction. The survey method was carried out in research using a questionnaire. This research is a random sampling research with a total of 144 Sister’s Beauty Studio customers as respondents. The data analysis used the PLS-SEM approach with the help of the SMART-PLS program. The result showed tangibility, reliability, assurance, empathy and responsiveness did have positive impacts on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the research also handed out customer satisfaction has a positive impact on customer loyalty and hence customer trust.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the steps of implementing empathy learning models that can build multicultural schools with insight. The method of research this is literature review with techniques to collect the data from a variety of sources written in the form of books, journals, articles science or literature review. The results of the research it is in the form of design models and the stages of implementation of the model of learning empathy that do teachers and outside the classroom in the form of an attitude accept differences in background behind the social culture of a person. Measurement of learning outcomes of empathy learning models is measured by authentic assessment in the form of observing attitudes and the process of interacting in groups, case studies, performance and portfolio.
