Abstract

This article analyzes the determinants that affect the level of underpricing in property and real estate sub-sector companies that conduct Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The variables used in this study include financial factors consisting of Current Ratio (CR) for liquidity ratios, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) for leverage ratios, Return On Assets (ROA) for profitability ratios, and Earning Per Share (EPS) for ratios. market, as well as non-financial factors consisting of Underwriter Reputation (UR) and Share Offering Percentage (SOP). The results show that simultaneously all financial and non-financial factors have a significant effect on the level of underpricing, with a very strong influence. While partially CR, ROA, UR and SOP are factors that have a significant influence on the level of underpricing. So it can be concluded that financial and non-financial factors have the same influence on the level of underpricing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of accountability, transparency on the effectiveness of the management of operational assistance funds for early childhood management (BOP Paud) in Arrudhah Taluak IV Tribe Islamic Kindergarten with parental participation as a moderating variable. The sample of this research was obtained as many as 110 respondents. PLS SEM analysis method, this research instrument uses google form. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it was found that accountability has a significant effect on the effectiveness of BOP fund management, Transparency has a significant effect on the effectiveness of BOP fund management, Parental participation has a significant effect on the effectiveness of BOP fund management. Parental participation as moderator has a negative and insignificant effect on accountability, transparency and effectiveness of BOP fund management in Islamic Kindergarten Arraudhah Taluak IV Suku

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the unemployment rate on poverty in Mandailing Natal. This research is a quantitative research using SPSS 23 to process data. Data used is secondary data in the form of time series for the period 2001 - 2021. The results of the study conclude that the poverty equation obtained a Value t-count of 1.251 using a 95% confidence level, = 0.05 compared to the sig value obtained at 0.226, the sig value greater than α or 0.226 > 0.05. This shows that there is no significant effect between unemployment and poverty and this indicates that the poverty rate in Mandailing Natal is not determined by unemployment. If the unemployment rate increases or develops, it will not necessarily affect poverty. Furthermore, the R Square Value in this study is 0.027, indicating that the unemployment rate has an influence of 2.7 % on the poverty rate in Mandailing Natal. Furthermore , another 97.3% is influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the influence of corporate governance and debt financing practices on the dynamics of firm performance in the manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Methodology/approach – This quantitative research paper uses secondary data from the financial statements of manufacturing sector firm for 11 years, between 2009 and 2019. The number of samples that met the established criteria was 190 firm, which were further analyzed using panel regression analysis. Findings – This study concludes that the application of corporate governance in the manufacturing sector, has both a consistently positive effect on ROA and ROE. Meanwhile, debt financing is based on the analysis of total debt ratio, long debt ratio, and short debt ratio in accordance with profitability and trade off theory. Novelty/value – This study aims to provide a more general and robust conclusion regarding the effect of implementing corporate governance mechanisms and debt financing decisions on firm performance in emerging country, especially in the manufacturing sector by using periods, samples, variables and analyzing debt ratios with various time periods.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the S-O-R Model in the Ciburial tourism village in Garut Regency with the dimensions of Experience: 4Es yaitu Education, Entertaintment, Esthetics dan Escapism, affect the intervening variable Feeling of Happiness (fun) and its impact on the dependent variable Behavioral Intention. So that it can explain these factors in encouraging tourist attraction to visit the Ciburial tourism village of Garut Regency in the Covid-19 situation. Methodology/approach – The research method used is quantitative with an explanatory research design. The population in this study were tourists from the Tourism Village of Garut Regency, amounting to 718 visitors with a total sample of 195 people. Findings – It was found that the influence of the independent variables Experience 4Es, namely Education (X1), Entertainment (X2), Esthetics (X3) and Escapism (X4), affect the intervening variable feeling of happiness (fun) (Y) and its impact on the dependent variable Behavioral Intention (Z). Novelty/value – As the S-O-R model has become an important factor in tourist villages over the past few years, it is very important to understand how to retain visitors. Abstract

This study aims to determine the conversion conventional cooperatives into sharia cooperatives are influenced by skills, discipline and cooperative environment. About 10 cooperatives as well as research samples with 3 respondents per cooperative, so that a total of 30 respondents. Quantitative research method with 30 respondents managing cooperatives (chairman, secretary and treasurer), from 10 cooperatives requested by the Department of Industry and Trade and SMEs of Solok City. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with saturated samples or the census method. Collecting data in this study by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. The analytical method used in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. Found there is an influence between the variables of management skills, management work discipline, and cooperative work environment simultaneously on the work productivity of managers. Sharia management skills, sharia work discipline and cooperative environment in Solok City have a positive and significant effect on the work productivity.

Abstract

Purpose – This study is to determine the influence of education, returns, and motivation on student interest in investing in the Islamic capital market. Methodology/approach – This study used purposive sampling with several predetermined criteria, the results obtained 63 students who were used as samples. Data analysis was tested by multiple linear regression using SPSS 25. Findings – It was found that the investment motivation variable (X3) affects investment interest, while the education and return variables have no effect. However, from the results of simultaneous tests, all independent variables used affect the dependent variables. Novelty/value – The values from this study is that the growth of the Islamic capital market, which has increased every year, can arouse investors' interest in setting aside some of the assets owned in the Islamic capital market. The attractiveness of the Islamic capital market is not only among business people but has begun to be seen by the millennial generation. Keywords: Education, Return, and Motivation

Abstract

This study aims to find out the implementation of talent management at Payzett which is dominated by Millennials, assess its effectiveness based on its contribution to the sustainability of organizational performance, and seek the improvement company can do to achieve organizational performance sustainability through talent management toward Millennials. This research is qualitative research conducted at Payzett, a fintech company in Jakarta, Indonesia. There were 14 key informants got involved in this research who are department heads in the company. This research shows that the implementation of talent management at Payzett has not optimally implemented. There are some improvements needed in order to readjust talent management strategy that can meet the needs of millennials in order to increase individual performance and make positive impact on organizational performance sustainability.

Abstract

This research seeks to determine the influence of services quality on patient satisfaction, and to determine the influence of facilities on patient satisfaction, and to determine the influence of services quality and facilities on patient satisfaction, at Wijaya Kusuma Hospital Lumajang, East Java. This research used a descriptive quantitative methods by using SPSS 26 to process the research data. This research was conducted on patients at Wijaya Kusuma Lumajang Hospital. The sample collection technique used simple random sampling technique. The sample was calculated by using the Slovin formula where 100 respondents were selected. It was found that the partial test (t test) of services quality and facilities have a positive and significant influence on patient satisfaction. The results of simultaneous test (f test) of services quality and facilities have a positive and significant influence on patient satisfaction. Researcher found that 82,9% of independent variables (services quality and facilities) on patients satisfaction and 17,1% was influenced by other variables which not examined As Patient satisfaction has been an important factor to influence them in continuing to visit Wijaya Kusuma Hospital Lumajang in the future, therefore it’s vital to understand why there was reducing number of patients visit to this Hospital in 2020 Year, and which variable influenced to patients satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effect of the perception and religiosity of students on interest in saving in Islamic banks. This study uses quantitative methods. The application program used to process the data is SPSS version 25. In this study the sample was set at 100 by using the Slovin formula and sampling using the probability sampling method with cluster sampling technique which is a random sampling method based on area or region. The data used is primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to the students and students of the Nahdlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Kab. Maros. Measurement of variables using a Likert scale with a scale of 1 to 5. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple linear regression. The results showed that perception had a significant effect on saving interest in the students of the Nahdlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Kab. Maros, religiosity has a significant effect on saving interest in the students of the Nahdlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Kab. Maros, perception and religiosity simultaneously have a significant effect on saving interest in the students of the Nahdlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Kab. Maros. Thus, Islamic banking still needs to increase socialization to students about Islamic financial literacy so that Islamic financial institutions become better in the future, can be accepted and understood by the whole community. Because we all know that santri are future leaders who will always spread Islamic teachings wherever they are.
