Abstract

The rapid shift toward digitalization has introduced new financial products and transactional models that require a more adaptive and integrated approach to Islamic legal reasoning. This study analyzes the role of al qawāid al fiqhiyyah al kulliyyah in addressing contemporary legal challenges within the digital economy and develops a methodological framework for assessing the Sharia compliance of emerging digital practices. Using a qualitative library based method, the research engages classical and modern legal sources by combining substantive contract analysis, application of core legal maxims, and maqāṣid al sharīʿah evaluation. Several case domains are examined, including e commerce arrangements, Islamic P2P financing structures, cryptocurrency usage, and blockchain based smart contracts, to identify potential issues related to gharar, ḍarar, and misalignment with Sharia objectives. The findings show that the five universal legal maxims offer a strong and adaptable foundation for managing uncertainty, promoting transactional fairness, and safeguarding consumer interests in digital environments. The study also proposes a five stage methodological model designed to guide Sharia supervisory boards, regulators, and industry practitioners in developing policies, operational standards, and compliance mechanisms suited to Islamic digital financial services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in developing customer service in the e‑commerce platform, specifically Shopee Indonesia. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through in‑depth interviews with four active Shopee sellers from various regions, including Medan. The findings indicate that the implementation of CRM such as personalized communication, quick responses, customer incentives, and utilization of customer data significantly enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty. Shopee’s facilities and support, including Seller Centre Analytics, chat templates, and seller training, facilitate effective CRM implementation. The main challenges faced by sellers include high message volumes, limited digital literacy, and technical constraints, which can be addressed through adaptive strategies such as customer segmentation, chat templates, and admin team management. This study concludes that CRM is not merely a technical tool but a strategic approach for building long-term customer relationships, enhancing store reputation, and achieving business success in e-commerce.

Abstract

Sejak 2007, fintech mulai hadir di Indonesia dengan menawarkan berbagai layanan keuangan digital. Perkembangan fintech di Indonesia telah merambah ke beragam sektor, termasuk pembayaran, peminjaman (lending), perencanaan keuangan (financial planner), investasi ritel, pembiayaan melalui crowdfunding, remitansi, riset keuangan, dan layanan lainnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan fintech serta dampaknya terhadap perilaku masyarakat Indonesia dalam mengelola keuangan. Penelitian dilakukan melalui studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai penelitian yang relevan terkait fintech di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fintech memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif, namun secara keseluruhan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat Kota Blitar. Kehadiran fintech telah memengaruhi perilaku masyarakat Kota Blitar dalam mengelola keuangan, termasuk dalam hal pengumpulan, penyimpanan, dan penggunaan uang untuk bertransaksi. Misalnya, fintech jenis microfinancing memudahkan masyarakat memperoleh dana untuk mengembangkan usaha dan menambah penghasilan, P2P Lending Service memfasilitasi peminjaman uang dengan lebih mudah, sedangkan fintech jenis Market Comparison dan Investment membantu masyarakat dalam perencanaan keuangan dan kegiatan investasi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Asset, Current Ratio, and Debt to Asset Ratioon financial distress at PT Leyand International Tbk during the 2014-2023 period. The method used in this research is a quantitative associative approach with secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial statements for 10 years. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS25 program. T test results show that Return On Asset (0,041<0,05) and Debt to Asset Ratio (0,036<0,05) have a significant effect on financial distress. Conversely, Current Ratio (0,461>0,05have no significant effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, the f test results show that Return On Asset, Current Ratio, and Debt to Asset Ratio together have a significant effect on financial distress with a significance value of 0.006 with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0,825 or 82,5%. Thus, it can be concluded that although not all independent variables have a partial effect, the four financial ratios simultaneously have an influence on the company's financial distress condition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa terkait pemanfaatan teknologi dalam konteks proses pembelajaran di lingkungan akademik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan sejumlah mahasiswa dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Metode observasi juga digunakan untuk melacak penggunaan teknologi selama pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, melihatnya sebagai sarana yang memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Namun, beberapa mahasiswa menunjukkan kekhawatiran terkait ketergantungan pada teknologi yang dapat mengganggu proses belajar secara tradisional. Pemahaman tentang bagaimana teknologi digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran juga bervariasi di antara mahasiswa. Beberapa menganggap teknologi sebagai alat bantu penting yang meningkatkan keterlibatan dan aksesibilitas materi, sementara yang lain menyoroti tantangan terkait pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap materi yang disampaikan melalui teknologi. Faktor-faktor seperti kualitas pengajaran, jenis teknologi yang digunakan, serta kesiapan mahasiswa dalam mengadopsi teknologi juga mempengaruhi persepsi mereka terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendekatan yang seimbang antara pemanfaatan teknologi dan strategi pembelajaran tradisional untuk menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang holistik dan efektif bagi mahasiswa

Abstract

The digital transformation in government administration has become crucial in enhancing public service efficiency. This study examines the implementation of office automation systems in Indonesian government institutions, with a specific focus on the Satu Kemenkeu system at the Ministry of Finance. Through a systematic literature review methodology, this research analyzes strategic aspects of office automation implementation, including organizational readiness, technological infrastructure, change management, and administrative efficiency outcomes. The findings indicate that office automation significantly improves document disposition processes, reducing processing time from days to hours, enhances transparency and accountability, and supports paperless governance initiatives. However, implementation faces challenges including digital literacy gaps, resistance to change, and infrastructure limitations. This study provides strategic recommendations for government agencies planning to implement similar systems, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive change management, continuous training programs, and phased implementation approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle, customer reviews, and service quality on purchasing decisions on the TikTok Shop marketplace. This research employs a quantitative approach with lifestyle, customer reviews, and service quality as independent variables, and purchasing decisions as the dependent variable. The population as well as the sample of this study consisted of 98 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Lamongan City who use TikTok Shop, selected using a non-probability sampling technique. The data used were primary data collected through an online questionnaire survey using Google Forms. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 3 software through structural model (inner model) testing. The results indicate that lifestyle, customer reviews, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. These findings suggest that lifestyle preferences, information obtained from customer reviews, and service quality play an important role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions on social media–based marketplace platforms. This study is expected to contribute theoretically to the development of consumer behavior studies and serve as a reference for future research related to purchasing decisions in digital marketplaces.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Leverage Ratio Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) ) on profitability measured using Return on Assets (ROA) at PT. Astra International Tbk. for the period 2014-2023. This type of research is quantitative using secondary data in the form of financial reports. The results of this study indicate that partially Current Ratio has a significant negative effect on Return on Assets. These results are indicated by the value (T count > T table) (-5.247 > 1.8945) Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has no effect on Return on Assets (ROA). These results are proven by (T count <T table) (568 <1.8945). Simultaneously Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio have an effect on Return on Assets. The results of this study are supported by the (F- count > F-table) (18.572 > 4.74). This study concludes the need for more optimal financial management and consideration of other factors influencing a company's financial performance. This research provides theoretical and practical benefits for the development of financial management science and investment decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of business unit diversification in improving the performance of the PT Pelindo Regional 4 Makassar Employee Cooperative from a management and institutional economics perspective. The study uses a case study approach with a SWOT analysis method to identify internal and external factors that influence cooperative performance. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with business unit administrators and managers and focus group discussions (FGDs) with cooperative members, supported by analysis of internal cooperative documents. The results show that business unit diversification, which includes the retail sector, savings and loans, and entrepreneurship training, can create cash flow synergy, increase member loyalty, and strengthen the cooperative's economic resilience. Institutional support from the parent company is a strategic factor in strengthening the legitimacy and access to resources for cooperatives. However, the study also identified several challenges, including limited management professionalization, low digital innovation, and suboptimal coordination between business units. Opportunities for cooperative development are open through partnerships with fintech companies, the use of financial inclusion policies, and the digital transformation of cooperative services. This study recommends strengthening governance, increasing managerial capacity, and digitizing business units as key strategies to improve cooperative performance and sustainability amidst modern economic competition. The research findings are expected to provide practical contributions to the development of adaptive and competitive cooperative management models

Abstract

This study examines the transformational leadership style and physical work environment on employee performance at PT. Taraindo Energi Perkasa, both partially and simultaneously. Employing a quantitative associative approach, it processes questionnaire data via SPSS version 23. The population comprises 60 employees, serving as the sample. Analysis techniques include instrument tests, classical assumption tests, regression, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, and hypothesis testing. Findings reveal transformational leadership style positively and significantly impacts employee performance partially, with t-calculated (6.529) > t-table (2.002) and significance of 0.424 (42.4%), rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. The physical work environment also exerts a positive significant partial effect, t-calculated (6.305) > t-table (2.002), with 0.422 (42.2%) significance, accepting Ha and rejecting H0. Simultaneously, both variables positively and significantly affect performance, yielding the regression equation: Y = 1.951 + 0.469X1 + 0.466X2. F-calculated (45.824) > F-table (3.10), with 0.617 (61.7%) significance, rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. Recommendations urge leaders to adapt approaches, enhance lighting, and refine work programs and job descriptions to boost employee performance at PT. Taraindo Energi Perkasa.
