Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis (1) Pola asuh orang tua menurut persepsi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak., (2) Hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, dan (3) Perbedaan pengaruh pola asuh terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan sampel yang berjumlah 96 responden yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah menggunakan angket skala likert yang di sebarkan secara langsung kepada responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana berbantu aplikasi IBM SPSS 26 dengan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pola asuh orangtua diperoleh interpretasi skor atau persentase pola asuh orangtua 38,75% dengan kategori sangat rendah, (2) Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan rata-rata penilai tengah semester mata pelajaran IPS di kelas delapan SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak memiliki rata-rata persentase sebesar 65,29. Sehingga jika diinterpretasikan pada tolak ukur kategori penilaian, maka rata-ratapenilaian tengah semester peserta didik kelas delapan SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak masuk dalam kategori cukup baik yaitu masuk pada rentang 56-75, (3) terdapat pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan sig.alpha 0,002. Sementara itu kofisisensi determionasi dengan nilai R square 0,723. The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) Parenting styles based on the perceptions of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, (2) The Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, and (3) The differences in the influence of parenting styles on Social Studies learning outcomes among Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. The method used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The study involved a sample of 96 respondents, who were Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. The data collection technique employed was a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed directly to the respondents. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS 26 software. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The interpretation score or percentage for parenting styles was 38.75%, which falls into the very low category. (2) Based on the average scores of the mid-semester assessment in the Social Studies subject for Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak, the average percentage was 65.29%. When interpreted according to the assessment category benchmarks, this falls into the fairly good category, which is in the range of 56"“75. (3) There is a significant influence of parenting styles on students' learning outcomes, as indicated by a significance level (α) of 0.002. Additionally, the coefficient of determination (R square) was 0.723

Abstract

Kelurahan Tabing Banda Gadang is one of the areas vulnerable to flood disasters due to its lowland topography, land-use changes, and the decreasing presence of water-retaining vegetation. In addition to environmental factors, low community awareness of mitigation based on local knowledge also poses a challenge to disaster risk reduction efforts. This community service program aims to strengthen flood mitigation awareness through the integration of local wisdom and local history into a green movement focused on tree-planting activities. The methods employed included educational socialization based on local environmental history, participatory discussions on local wisdom practices in spatial and water management, and collective tree-planting actions in flood-prone areas. A participatory and contextual approach was adopted to foster a sense of community ownership toward the environment while revitalizing local values that support ecological balance. The results indicate an improvement in community understanding of the relationship between environmental change and flood risk, increased awareness of the importance of vegetation as a natural mitigation measure, and the emergence of collective community commitment to maintaining green spaces grounded in local values. This green movement based on local wisdom and history contributes as a sustainable community-based disaster mitigation education model in flood-prone urban areas.
