Abstract

This research aims to determine the interpersonal communication patterns of SMAN 1 Sidikalang students regarding their addiction to playing Mobile Legends games. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research is a field study. The data in this research comes from primary data obtained directly through direct findings in the research area such as the results of interviews and observations. This research data also comes from secondary data obtained through literature that relates to the research context such as journal articles and books. Data collection techniques in this research used semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. Data analysis in this research was carried out by reducing, presenting, and then verifying the research data. The results of this research show that the interpersonal communication approach applied by teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sidikalang is very focused on creating positive relationships with students. They listen attentively, show genuine interest, and avoid unnecessary interruptions. The body language they use supports a positive atmosphere, and simple language creates a comfortable environment. Teachers give praise to increase students' self-confidence and provide criticism wisely. They also demonstrate self-control and emotional maturity, helping students overcome gaming addiction problems. All of these approaches aim to create positive interpersonal relationships and provide important support in student development.

Abstract

The increase in population in an area has a significant impact on vehicle density in that area. The problem that often arises is traffic jams that occur on several routes at once. This factor is a common problem, which is quite disturbing to the public and road users. To overcome this problem, the genetic algorithm method is used as a solution method. This case study was set at the regional or city level around Salatiga City, including Ambarawa City, Semarang City, Boyolali City, Solo City and Magelang City. By using the genetic algorithm method, the fastest route with the shortest distance can be found. The Genetic Algorithm used in this research allows optimal shortest route search results. Apart from that, this research can also minimize the distance and travel time of several alternative routes obtained, thus providing significant benefits in developing the transportation system in the region.

Abstract

Augmented Reality applications have become one of the technologies that has developed rapidly in the last few decades. This technology will later be used to help solve challenges in the education sector. Common problems that occur in the world of education usually lie in learning methods. Teachers usually only use classical teaching aids and do not provide opportunities for students to explore further with existing media. Therefore, an Augmented Reality based application is used. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines digital information such as images, videos or 3D models with the user's environment in real time. Application design as Android-based learning media. This Augmented Reality application will later help students' learning process. The application runs on Android-based smartphones. The contents of this application will be a 3D model, detailed information about the animal. As well as audio that will explain the details of the animal. It is hoped that this application can facilitate students to learn about animals, especially based on types of food. In order to determine the effectiveness of the application being developed, a pretest and posttest were carried out. The results show that at the posttest students had better abilities compared to before

Abstract

Jepara Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java that has great tourism potential. However, this potential has not been fully exploited due to a lack of information and promotion. To address this issue, a tourism information system application is needed that can provide complete and accurate information and promotion to tourists. This study uses the design thinking method to design the UI/UX of the tourism information system application of Jepara Regency. This method was chosen because it can involve users in the design process to produce a product that meets the needs and desires of users. The results of the study show that the designed tourism information system application of Jepara Regency has a user-friendly and responsive UI/UX. The application is also equipped with various features that can make it easy for tourists to get information and promotion about tourism in Jepara Regency.

Abstract

Tiki-taka Barcelona Futsal is one of the places to rent futsal fields in Prambanan. The data collection and rental system at Tiki-taka Barcelona Futsal is still classified as manual, where renters must first ask for empty schedules via the WhatsApp application or come directly. This manual system has an impact on tenants and groundskeepers. Renters have to WhatsApp or come directly to the place which takes quite a long time because the guards or field admins are not always online on WhatsApp and the guards or field admins have to answer one by one if many people ask questions and not all renters have to travel distance to Tiki-taka Barcelona Futsal. near. By creating an Android and web-based futsal field rental application, it can make it easier for tenants to rent the field and for keepers to manage the field. This application can also carry out online transactions using Midtrans.

Abstract

Literacy in Indonesia is relatively low at 0.001 percent. Referring to literacy data from East Java Province, Bangkalan Regency has a level of reading interest (TGM) of 67,2. As a strategy to increase the literacy of school-aged users, the Department of Library and Archives Regency Bangkalan carried out several program stages. This research aims to find out how the communication strategy of the Bangkalan Regency Library and Archives Service improves the literacy of school age users. The method used in the research is a descriptive qualitative method by collecting observation data and in-depth interviews with staff, librarians and school age users. The results of this research indicate that to increase the literacy of school-age users at the Department of Library and Archives Regency Bangkalan, they have implemented a communication strategy which was analyzed using a five-step strategy model. Apart from that, specific strategies to increase literacy consist of 4 forms, namely Internal (Library Development Training and TPBIS Development), External (BangLabang, Kubiling, eBecah, Library Visits, Literacy Seminars, Selection of Literacy Ambassadors, and Storytelling Competitions), Digital (Social media management: Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and TikTok), and Collaboration (Bangkalan Children's Forum and PT Gramedia).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the political communication of the Prosperous Justice Party Branch Leadership Council (DPC PKS) in cadre recruitment in Medan Denai. This research uses qualitative methods with a field study approach. This research is a descriptive analysis study. Data sources for this research include primary data obtained through interviews and documentation, and secondary data originating from journal articles, books and relevant research. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interview techniques and documentation studies. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman scheme, involving the process of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research indicate that the recruitment pattern for PKS DPC Medan Denai cadres involves three main approaches: open recruitment, internal selection, and informal approaches. In open recruitment, political communication is used to introduce the party's vision, mission and values to prospective cadres, build interest and encourage participation in the recruitment process. In internal selection, political communication helps explain new roles and responsibilities to potential cadres through dialogue, maintaining commitment and stability of party leadership. In the informal approach, political communication is personal and relies on personal relationships and trust, helping to motivate prospective cadres to join the party and contribute actively.

Abstract

Today’s digital technology has developed and can be utilized by its users, one of whom is doing Personal branding by becoming a VTuber (Virtual YouTuber). This research aims to find the Personal branding of an Indonesian VTuber named Anya Melfissa by utilizing YouTube and Twitter/X in her career. This research uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach and is based on the Personal branding theory coined by Peter Montoya. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. In the interviews, three informants were obtained using purposive sampling technique. This research uses data analysis techniques from Matthew B. Miles and Michael Huberman. Based on the results of the study, Anya Melfissa’s personal brand has relevance to Peter Montoya’s Personal branding theory, which includes the concepts of specialization, leadership, personality, distinctiveness, visibility, persistence, and goodwill. The results showed that specialization in Anya Melfissa’s Personal branding, which is fluent in Indonesian, English, and Japanese, is the dominant characteristic in her Personal branding.

Abstract

This research presents innovation in the form of web-based and mobile event ticket sales applications using the PHP and Kotlin programming languages. The goal is to provide convenience to users in booking event tickets and registering events themselves from their homes. The application is designed to simplify the ticket booking process, improve accessibility, and provide an optimal user experience. Key features include a responsive user interface, being able to register new events, book desired events, view booked events, view registered events. By combining the advantages of PHP and Kotlin programming languages, this research has the potential to provide a more efficient and satisfying event ticket booking and sales experience for users.

Abstract

This study aims to create an accounting information system design for web-based residual business results at the PT. KAHATEX "WIRYATAMA" Cimahi Employee Cooperative. This research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are used by observation, interviews and . The software method used is the waterfall. From the research conducted, the authors found several problems including the savings and loan process and the calculation of remaining business results still using Microsoft Exel, so data processing takes a long time and the accuracy of reports is less accurate. Therefore, an information system is designed using data flow diagrams and implemented in the PHP and MYSQL programming languages as databases. As for some suggestions given to deal with existing problems, namely optimizing savings and loan information systems and residual business results using applications that have been designed, can develop existing systems and can maintain system to improve better performance.
