Abstract

The cultivation of 5S culture in instilling religious character imbues the teachings of Islamic values. So that professional teachers help grow the character values ​​of students who are still lacking and need to be instilled in order to get used to and have religious characters that are in accordance with Islamic teachings and national education goals. The aim is to determine the professionalism of teachers in growing religious character based on 5S culture. This research is quantitative with a population of 45 students in class XI SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Bantul Yogyakarta. Collecting information using questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research on the results of the growth of character values ​​are 100% teachers provide socialization and role models, 80% warmly welcome students, 100% teachers say hello, 90% give advice if there are mistakes, 100% teachers give awards to students who apply S5, 100% teachers are careful in speaking, 80% of teachers apply S5, 100% of teachers establish good cultural relations with parents and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to estimate the parameters of the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH) model using a bootstrap approach. In the heteroscedasticity data model, it is determined how much the residual value of the sample used is. The bootstrap approach is a non-parametric and resampling technique used to estimate the parameter. From the sample data implemented, the residual estimation using the Maximum Likelihood Estimation method is - 0.065851304. Furthermore, the residual estimation value using the bootstrap approach is -1.769129241. Thus, the use of the bootstrap approach in the GARCH model results in a smaller residual value than MLE.

Abstract

Geometry is one of the subject matter in mathematics. Geometry has many type of shape, formula, area and volume. So there are many elementary school students feel no interest in studying geometry material because they feel difficult and don't understand it properly it is clear what each of these geometry looks like. To meet these demands, in line with developments in science and technology, the use of learning media is a solution. Increasingly diverse and interactive technology, one of which comes with utilizing AR technology. The use of augmented reality which is able to present 3D objects in visualizing geometric grids can make it easier to remember geometric shapes and utilizing this technology is able to create learning applications that stimulate students interest in learning to carry out learning activities actively and independently

Abstract

This article presents goal programming model for tutor scheduling. Goal programming is the development of linear programming which has multiple objectives. Goal programming minimizes the deviation among the the desired level of goals and the actual achievement, which is achieved by changing inequality into equality by including positive and negative deviation variables accomplished by converting inequalities into equalities by including positive and negative deviation variables that allow the achievement below or above each goal. The results obtained from this model provide the optimal solutions where all objectives are achieved. This model also aims to achieve harmony and fairness between tutors and institutional management.

Abstract

There are differences of opinion arising from the results of research on the use of WhatsApp in ELT. The results revealed that the use of WhatsApp software contributed positively to the development of English writing proficiency, and the other results considered that the use of WhatsApp has many weaknesses and difficulties in writing and other language instructions. This controversy allowed the researcher to conduct research aimed at finding out whether there was a correlation between the use of WhatsApp as a tool in writing activities and EFL student writing performance and to find out how close the relationship between the two variables is. The statistical correlation from Pearson Product Moment revealed that the correlation of the independent variable (X) with the dependent variable (Y) showed a sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05, and the correlation rate was very strong with a correlation coefficient (r = 0.832), along with the hypothesis tested showing Ho: ?1 ? 0. This study shows a very strong correlation between the use of WhatsApp as a tool in English writing activities and writing performance. WhatsApp interventions into ELT in the form of group WhatsApp and individual WhatsApp’s text message interactions have contributed to EFL students’ writing skills as the correlation of two variables goes parallel. The more students do the writing activity through WhatsApp, the higher the writing achievement they acquire.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat metode mengajar Matematika pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus tuna grahita dan autis di SLB YKK Pacitan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data diambil dengan melakukan wawancara kepada lima guru Matematika di SLB YKK Pacitan. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen panduan wawancara dengan penekanan pada penggalian metode mengajar Matematika bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus tuna grahita dan autis. Selain itu, peneliti juga melakukan observasi. Setelah data terkumpul, peneliti menganalisis data dengan tahapan membuat coding data/klasifikasi data, menyajikan dan menguraikan data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama bulan Juni-Juli tahun 2023. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru harus memahami prinsip pengajaran tuna grahita dan autis sebelum mengajar. Prinsip pengajaran pada anak tuna grahita mencakup pengembangan potensi, tidak berbasis kelas, kolaborasi dengan orang tua, modifikasi kurikulum, modifikasi perilaku, dan proses evaluasi belajar yang runtut. Metode pengajaran anak tuna grahita menggunakan benda konkrit, pembelajaran langsung dengan instruksi langsung, pembelajaran kooperatif, dan metode pengulangan. Sedangkan prinsip pengajaran anak autis meliputi efikasi orang tua, membangun konsentrasi, dan memetakan gangguan. Metode yang dipakai guru meliputi metode Lovaas atau ABA, TEACCH, Son-Rise Program, PEC (Picture Exchange Communication), dan terapi sensori integrasi.

Abstract

Identification of customers in the business sector that really needs to be done as an evaluation of a business that is run so that it can continue to grow and be able to follow business developments in the same sector. The deep constraint clustering approach is used to cluster customers towards a business. In this study, a clustering of customers using rail mass transportation will be carried out. The results achieved are the formation of 6 clusters using trains be built. The result of research expected to be a consideration in improving services to the company

Abstract

There are a large number of approaches to clustering problems, including optimization-based methods involving mathematical programming models to develop efficient and meaningful clustering schemes. Clustering is one of the data labeling techniques. K-means clustering is a partition clustering algorithm that starts by selecting k representative points as the initial centroid. Each point is then assigned to the nearest centroid based on the selected specific proximity measure. This writing is focused on the grouping of post-earthquake hazard zones based on grouping with regard to certain characteristics which aim to describe the process of partitioning the N-dimensional population into K-sets based on the sample. This research consists of three steps, namely standardization, data clustering using K-means and data interpolation using the K-means clustering algorithm and zoning of 7 variables, namely magnitude, depth, victim died, the victim didn’t die, public facilities were heavily damage, public facilities were slightly damage, and affected areas.

Abstract

A common schedule problem found in colleges is the positioning of courses in a certain space and time. This placement process often encounters barriers that must be met so that there is no imbalance in the school schedule. One of the problems that often arise is the placement of class capacity that does not match the course requirements. In this study, the researchers used the Artificial Bee Colony Hybrid Algorithm (HABC) to construct course schedules efficiently at the college. The objective of the research was to develop a course scheduling system using the HABC algorithm by combining the Engineering of Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) and genetic algoritms, especially on the crossover process to better address the schedule problems. The research procedure used is to design and implement a course scheduling system using the Hybrid ABC algorithm. The results of the research demonstrate that the Hybrid ABC algorithm is effective in generating optimal course schedule schedules, in line with time limits, room needs, and lecturer requirements and can automate course schedule processes, saving time and resources, while ensuring optimal schedules.
