Abstract

Surya Citra Televisi is a national private television station in Indonesia founded on August 24, 1990, in Surabaya, later moved to Jakarta. PT INDOSIAR VISUAL MANDIRI is known to all Indonesians for its flagship programs such as soap operas, infotainment, sports, and special events. Social media Sports Indosiar is an essential aspect in promoting the programs at INDOSIAR. The presence of INDOSIAR social media creates interactions between the @indosiar_sports account and TikTok users, influencing engagement on the account. To achieve engagement targets, content is crucial for increasing the engagement of the TikTok @indosiar_sports account. This research aims to provide insight into the selection and content creation process to offer broad reach to TikTok users, especially followers of @indosiar_sports. The theoretical basis includes Communication Strategy, Marketing Communication, Social Media Content, The Circular Model of SoMe, TikTok, and Engagement. The data collection methods used are quantitative and qualitative, observation, and documentation.

Abstract

The spread of malaria caused by mosquito bites remains a global health problem. To mitigate the spread of this disease, the development of automatic mosquito-repellent devices is one viable solution. This study aims to develop an automatic mosquito-repellent device that effectively controls the population of malaria-carrying mosquitoes. The research methodology includes the design and construction of the device, field trials, and data analysis. The research findings indicate that the automatic mosquito-repellent device significantly reduces the population of malaria-carrying mosquitoes in the trial area. Discussions on the implications of these findings for malaria control strategies and suggestions for further development of the device are also presented. This research is expected to contribute to global efforts to reduce the burden of malaria.

Abstract

Data security and privacy are essential for all mobile device users, especially Android. However, deleted data can generally still be recovered using forensic analysis of the storage media hardware with data recovery software. For this reason, you need a data deletion application capable of deleting safely. Many methods are available for safe deletion, such as applying different numbers of passes (overwriting). This research proves that most available methods cannot be deleted entirely and can be recovered, so a data deletion application was created using the most up-to-date method, the Gutmann Method. This method uses 35 number of operands to overwrite the file. Applications are made by analyzing system requirements and implementing them into mobile programming. Then, a comparison test is carried out with other existing applications. The results show that applications created using the Gutmann method are 33% less likely to find file traces than the best comparison application.

Abstract

Instagram is a photo-sharing application that allows users to take pictures, apply digital filters, and share them through various social networking services, including Instagram. Semarang City has an Instagram account, PPID (Information and Documentation Management Officer), which provides information about activities in the city of Semarang. This study uses the theory of mass communication and perception. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the Semarang City PPID account helped the community access information that occurred in Semarang, such as official information from the government, natural disaster warnings, entertainment events, regional assistance, and others. Most people are enthusiastic about the Semarang City PPID Instagram account because it helps them know the information needed.

Abstract

Nail treatment has become an important aspect for all groups of women. The use of fake nails Press on nails has become a popular alternative in the beauty industry, especially in nail art. Recently, the press on technique has become a significant trend among nail art fans. This study analyzes the factors that influence the popularity of press on nails and their impact on the development of entrepreneurial business in the nail art industry. The results showed that the popularity of press on nails in the nail art entrepreneur industry is determined by several main factors such as ease of use, application speed, design variations, and endurance. In addition, effective marketing strategies such as the use of social media and collaboration with influencers also play an important role in increasing the popularity of press on nails.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the characteristics of online game top-up fraud victims on social media, especially teenagers. Advances in technology and internet access have changed the way people seek entertainment, including online games, but have also triggered fraud in top-up transactions. This research identifies factors that make teenagers vulnerable to becoming victims, such as attractive promotions, many account followers, and low prices. Data was collected through observations and interviews with teenagers who have been victims of online game top-up scams. The results show that victims are generally teenagers aged 21 and under who are easily trusting, often find out about top-up services through social media such as Instagram, and tend to trust accounts recommended by friends or family. Promotional factors, number of followers, and low prices are the main drivers of transactions that lead to fraud. This research is expected to raise public awareness about the importance of vigilance in online transactions and provide insights for the development of fraud prevention strategies among teenagers.

Abstract

Competition in the industrial sector is getting tighter, but on the other hand, there is an imbalance in the increase in visit numbers. Business competition is a challenge and threat to survival. Lokananta Surakarta carries out several strategies because this has a crucial role in encouraging an increase in the number of visitors. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, with data collection methods using interviews and observation. The aim of carrying out this research is to find out and explain the promotional mix strategy used by Lokananta Surakarta to increase the number of local tourists. The results of this research show that there is a promotional mix used to increase visitors, namely advertising, sales, direct marketing, sales promotions and public relations. Sales promotion activities carried out include discounts, packages and merchandise which most persuade people to be more interested in visiting.

Abstract

The church is one that needs an information system to make it easier to convey information in the church every day. Therefore, the Catholic Church of St. Paskalis Baylon Wangon needs a website to convey all information to the people and the outside community. Judging from the development of Indonesian society today, the use of the internet as a means of information to the public is a new method that should be developed. The design of this website is expected to help the church in conveying information effectively. This developed information system has features such as worship schedules, church announcements, photo and video documentation, and contact information. With these features, the congregation is facilitated in obtaining information about activities in the church and worship schedules. This website can be accessed by congregants and church administrators as outside admins. This design uses the waterfall method, to design websites using the Laravel framework and using PHP and JavaScript programming languages.

Abstract

Communication strategy for Avoskin products, a beauty brand based in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through analysis of e-WOM content on social media as well as documentation studies related to Avoskin's marketing strategy. The research results show that Avoskin has succeeded in building a reputation as a high-quality and sustainable beauty brand. By focusing on innovation, product quality and effective communication via social media, Avoskin can reach and build strong relationships with its consumers, especially women aged 18 to 34 who care about the environment and natural ingredients. Marketing strategies focusing on product quality, informative communication, and commitment to sustainability have helped Avoskin gain recognition and awards in the Indonesian beauty industry. Even though it faces the challenges of increasingly fierce competition, Avoskin has the opportunity to expand its market and increase its visibility locally and globally. Avoskin's success proves that local brands can compete and excel in the global market with dedication, innovation and commitment to quality and sustainability.

Abstract

Development of the Book Collection Website for Ciremai Atelier Cafe is an effort to utilize digital technology to improve cafes' services and income. In an era where internet use is increasingly widespread, the website becomes crucial for businesses in expanding reach and increasing customer involvement. Through needs analysis, careful website design, and the development of relevant features, this research aims to provide practical solutions to meet users' needs and improve their experience in exploring the collection of cafes. Features such as sophisticated book searches, user reviews, online payment systems, and website barcode integration have become the main focus in strengthening interactions between cafes and customers. The website's main page provides users with a user-friendly experience through attractive and informative designs, while comprehensive book information ensures easy and complete access. In conclusion, this website development offers opportunities to increase the presence of online cafes, expand customer bases, and strengthen relationships with existing customers while bringing more diverse and attractive reading experiences to the public.
