Abstract

This study investigates the impact of information technology sophistication, management participation, and accounting information systems on employee performance at PT Bank in Medan. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research focuses on theoretical testing by quantifying research variables and analyzing the data with statistical methods. Data analysis is conducted using SPSS version 20, which includes validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, t-tests, F-tests, and R² tests. The findings reveal that information technology sophistication does not significantly influence employee performance at PT Bank in Medan. Similarly, management participation does not have a substantial effect on employee performance. However, accounting information systems do significantly impact employee performance. The results show an R Square value of 20.5%, suggesting that 20.5% of the variance in employee performance can be attributed to information technology sophistication, management participation, and accounting information systems, while the remaining 69.5% is due to other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to determine the promotion strategy to increase coffee sales at Cap Lesung Ukm Harapan Baru Binaan BDC Kota Pagar Alam. To achieve the research objectives, researchers made observations at UKM Harapan Baru Binaan BDC to collect data on the material studied. The results obtained using descriptive analysis are as follows: 1) Marketing of SMEs Harapan Baru Binaan BDC Kota Pagar Alam using marketing mix variables from advertising, personal selling, and sales promotion to diluted red coffee products cap lesung; 2) UKM Harapan Baru Binaan BDC Kota Pagar Alam promotes through these media, namely radio, Facebook, Instagram, Shoppe, website, and sponsorship (event); 3) From the discussion analysis, it is known that the increase in promotional costs every month causes an increase in sales volume, which shows the relationship between promotional costs and sales volume, where each change in promotion variables affects sales volume; 4) From the results of the study, the most dominant factor of the role of promotion to increase sales is advertising. The ads used are based on social media, namely the internet, Facebook, Instagram, and Shoopee, which experienced profits from sales of Rp. 20,000.00 in 2021, then experienced an increase of Rp. 25,000.00 (by 1.15%), and Rp. 29,500,000 (by 1.18%) in 2023

Abstract

Stikubank University, located in Semarang, has implemented an E-learning application. However, there have been several user complaints regarding its UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience). Consequently, this issue has been chosen as the subject of research. The research primarily focuses on redesigning the UI and UX using the Design Thinking methodology, which encompasses the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data collection was conducted through interviews with a total of 6 participants, comprising 4 students and 2 lecturers. The objective of the research is to determine how appealing and user-friendly the current E-learning application at Stikubank University is. For the testing phase, the researcher utilized the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate the usability of the prototype. The testing results using the SUS get a score of 75.75, which the 'good' category (grade B).

Abstract

The development of information technology has revolutionized various aspects of life, including the printing industry. In response to these developments, a new alternative in document printing services, known as website-based online printing, has emerged. This service allows customers to place orders and print documents online through a unique website the printing company provides. This provides convenience and flexibility when accessing printing services. At the same time, printing shop owners can benefit from efficient order management and access to online sales data. The data for this study was collected through interviews and observation methods to obtain the necessary information for system development. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the advancement of online printing services that are more effective and efficient in today's digital era. By using website-based online print services, the printing industry can adapt to changes in customer demand and provide a good printing experience.

Abstract

The youth community plays a vital role in supporting the career development of young people. In this context, the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the Young On Top web application play a crucial role. The app experienced UI/UX-related challenges, such as issues with image size, information completeness, and layout inconsistencies, which directly impacted user confusion. The research method used involved a usability evaluation with the System Usability Scale (SUS) as well as interviews with participants, both new and experienced users. The redesign focused on improving the layout, color consistency, and adding important information on various pages such as registration, events, career, shop, and articles. These changes significantly improved the appearance and user experience. This research emphasizes the importance of evaluation and improvement in UI/UX to improve the quality and user satisfaction of the Young On Top web application. Thus, the alignment between users' needs and ease of interaction with the application can be optimally realized.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the marketing communication strategies for agritourism based on food security in Renah Kayu Embun Village, Kumun Debai Sub-district, Sungai Penuh City. The research method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The analysis was conducted interactively and included a SWOT analysis. The technique for selecting research informants was purposive sampling, involving 25 agritourism business actors focused on food security in Renah Kayu Embun Village, Kumun Debai Sub-district, Sungai Penuh City. The results of the study indicate that the village authorities have not yet been able to effectively manage the organization, marketing, promotion, business unit development, and partnerships. Consequently, there is a need for an integrated marketing communication model through the empowerment of food security-based agritourism in Renah Kayu Embun Village, Kumun Debai Sub-district, Sungai Penuh City.

Abstract

The primary role of education is to enhance human resource quality through both governmental and non-governmental institutions. One proposed solution is School-Based Management (SBM), which leverages resource management to improve education quality via effective information and communication management. Schools are granted direct authority over both internal and external services. However, current information and communication management systems in schools have not significantly advanced education quality. In some cases, these systems have even impeded the creativity of educational units. For SBM to be effectively implemented, the role of the principal as a school leader is crucial, ensuring good information and communication management with all school members. This qualitative descriptive study collected data from online literature and relevant accredited journals. The findings suggest that well-managed SBM can enhance education quality through improved planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and explaining the representation of thuggery shown in the Loz Jogjakartoz short movie. Thuggery is one of the most familiar issues in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research using analysis technique Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The results of this research are the analysis denotative, connotative, and mythological meanings. In addition to a thug, thuggis behavior is also demonstrated by detective and liquor seller. The representation of thuggery in the Loz Jogjakartoz short movie depicts thugs who do not look exactly like the stereotypical image of thugs understood by society, which is that thugs must have tattoos, piercing, long hair, behave rudely, get drunk, and wear leather jackets. However in this movie, the representation of thuggery is only shown through aspects of having piercing, wear leather jacket, and behaving rudely.

Abstract

Health services are services provided to the community related to health, both preventive (disease prevention), promotive (improving health), curative (disease treatment), and rehabilitative (recovery) carried out by the government, local government and / or community. These health services are provided by the government, local governments, and the private sector. However, there are still many people who do not know the information on the place or location of these health services. Therefore, an android-based application is needed to improve services to the community. The purpose of this study is to produce health service applications by utilizing Location Based Service and Global Positioning Service so as to help the public to find health service information and assist in finding the location of health services because it is accompanied by the closest route to the location. Location Based Service (LBS) uses the values of the longitude and latitude points on the earth to determine the location to be inputted.

Abstract

Solid Geometry is a part of mathematics learning that has various forms and types. The diversity of spatial shapes has area and volume formulas so that you can know the number of sides and area of each spatial shape. By utilizing Augmented Reality technology to introduce spatial structures, it makes it interesting to study. The aim of this research is to create an AR application for solid geometry in an Android-based 3D model so that it can facilitate learning in a fun way. This AR application was created using Vuforia, Unity and a marker to be able to call up the space that has been created. From this research, it is hoped that the interim results can help the learning and teaching process on spatial building materials. Application research results that can be used for the learning stage.
