Abstract

The research employs Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification techniques to analyze attitudes toward cigarette consumption based on Twitter user opinions. Twitter, being one of the most popular social media platforms, serves as an excellent source for gauging public sentiment on various issues, including cigarette smoking, referred to here as "X." The diverse array of opinions poses a challenge for accurate sentiment classification. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Naive Bayes and SVM algorithms in categorizing sentiment as positive, negative, or neutral. Data is collected through web scraping, and preprocessing steps such as text cleaning, tokenization, and stemming are implemented. The performance of the classification is assessed using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results indicate that SVM outperforms Naive Bayes in sentiment analysis related to cigarette use. These findings provide new insights into public opinion and aim to assist policymakers in developing effective tobacco control strategies.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, is also recognized as the most generous country according to the World Giving Index 2022. Islamic philanthropy in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth since the reform era, marked by an increased awareness of the importance of professional management to maximize the impact on the underprivileged. Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) is one of the prominent Islamic philanthropic organizations with various initiatives such as Global Qurban and Global Wakaf, which have received positive responses from the Indonesian public. However, in 2022, ACT faced several allegations of financial misconduct, including embezzlement, misuse of donation funds from Boeing, mismanagement of waqf funds, excessive donation deductions, and money laundering. These scandals not only disrupted ACT's financial stability but also led to legal consequences for several of its executives. In Islam, the concept of Maqashid Syariah provides a framework for analyzing phenomena that may harm the Muslim community, including controversies involving ACT. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to examine the ACT controversies through the lens of Maqashid Syariah. Based on this analysis, as an Islamic philanthropic institution entrusted with managing ZISWAF (Zakat, Infaq, Shadaqah, and Waqf) funds, ACT should adhere to the principles of Maqashid Syariah to avoid actions that undermine the protection of intellect, life, and wealth, which are part of the Maqasid al-Khamsah. This study contributes to the literature on Islamic Economics by providing insights into the application of Maqashid Syariah in the context of Islamic philanthropy. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance of accountability and transparency in the management of ZISWAF funds by Islamic philanthropic organizations, regulators, and the community to ensure compliance with Maqashid Syariah.

Abstract

Utilizing limited space to be more functional and aesthetic, such as adding furniture or using it as gardening space, can be achieved through effective room mapping. However, manual mapping methods have limitations such as inaccurate measurements, time efficiency, and also lack of room visualization. In this modern era, robotics technology has been widely applied in everyday life, one of which is the use of LiDAR sensors for room mapping. This paper discusses a room mapping system using a mobile application that utilizes LiDAR sensors. The mapping process is carried out by scanning the area to be mapped and rotating the area 360 degrees. The result of this mapping is a scanned 3D model of the room, which allows measurements from every side of the room. Research shows that the mapping results from the software created are similar in shape to actual field conditions. In addition, the measurement accuracy only has a small difference of 0.2%. It is hoped that this research can make it easier for humans to map rooms and make better use of limited space.

Abstract

The online outpatient registration system is a technological innovation in healthcare aimed at enhancing the efficiency of registration services. One of its implementations is carried out at Hasna Medika Cirebon Hospital through the Mobile JKN application. However, several challenges persist in its execution. This study aims to evaluate the impact, benefits, challenges, and solutions related to the use of the online registration application at Hasna Medika Cirebon Hospital. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with purposive sampling. Informants include the head of the medical records department, registration staff, customer service officers responsible for managing Mobile JKN, and patients using the application. Data were collected through observation and interviews, followed by analysis through the processes of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the online outpatient registration system positively impacts the reduction of the registration staff's workload and facilitates patient access. Nevertheless, challenges remain, particularly for elderly patients without smartphones or those visiting the hospital unaccompanied. The hospital addresses these issues by providing patient education on system usage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look into how influencer marketing techniques affect brand awareness in the men's skincare market. The method used is a literature review that examines relevant literature from scientific journals, using keywords such as "Advertising," "Strategy Implementation," and "Brand Awareness." Data was collected through Google Scholar and analyzed using bibliographic annotation techniques. The results show that influencer marketing has great potential to enhance brand awareness and consumer purchase intention. The appropriate use of influencers can increase public trust and brand strength, while inappropriate influencer selection can have negative impacts. The study also emphasizes that effective influencer marketing strategies involve selecting influencers that match the product persona and using integrated and sustainable marketing strategies. Thus, companies in the men's skincare industry can utilize influencer marketing to achieve optimal results in building brand awareness and encouraging consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze First Breath marketing communication strategies in optimizing Instagram. First Breath, a birth documentation vendor, uses Instagram to expand its market and increase interaction with its audience. Using Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) theory, this research focuses on advertising, sales promotions, public relations, direct marketing, interactive marketing, events and experiences, and word of mouth marketing. The research method is a qualitative case study through in-depth interviews with the marketing team, Instagram content analysis, and participant observation. The research results show that First Breath's communication strategy includes attractive visuals, collaboration with influencers, educational and inspirational content, as well as the use of Instagram's interactive features such as Stories and Reels. Consistency in branding and messaging is also important for a positive image and customer loyalty. In conclusion, optimizing Instagram through an integrated marketing communications strategy increases audience engagement and expands market reach. This research provides insight into best practices in utilizing social media for effective marketing communications, as well as recommendations for similar companies in developing innovative and efficient digital communications strategies.

Abstract

This article analyzes the strategies and models of interpersonal communication of lecturers to students at vocational colleges of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Malang State Polytechnic. The results of the study show that interpersonal communication strategies are carried out with dididic and triadic models. Meanwhile, the interpersonal communication model of lecturers and students uses an interactive model, where there is interdependence and active participation between lecturers and students. Communication anxiety, both chronic (trait apprehension) and situational (state apprehension), can be an obstacle in the interaction between lecturers and students, affecting participation, presentation quality, and students' ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently.

Abstract

The increase in the number of new entrepreneurs in Indonesia is influenced by technological developments, easier access to information, and government support. This increases the need for legal services such as making business permits and business agreements. Lack of understanding of the legal aspects of business can hinder business growth. PT Awitama Cyndo Wahana, a legality management service provider, has great potential to support new entrepreneurs. However, this company has not utilized sales data to predict future sales. This research uses sales data from PT Awitama Cyndo Wahana to predict sales using the linear regression method. The test results show that the Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) is 458618.289, the Absolute Error is 183084.456, and the Relative Error is 0.98%. These results indicate that the prediction model has an adequate level of accuracy, although there are some prediction errors. The practical implication of this research is that PT Awitama Cyndo Wahana can use these sales predictions to plan more effective marketing strategies and make data-based business decisions, so that they can better support the growth of new entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The incidence of brain tumors in Indonesia continues to rise annually, affecting both adults and children. Therefore, an effective detection system is required to differentiate MRI images showing the presence of brain tumors from those that do not. This distinction is crucial in the analysis and diagnosis of medical images. This study aims to optimize brain tumor detection in digital images by combining the Adaptive Multiscale Retinex (AMSR) method with the YOLOv10 algorithm. AMSR enhances the quality and contrast of brain images, making critical details more visible. The method adjusts the scale and intensity of image lighting to address uneven illumination and improve the visibility of brain structures. YOLOv10 is recognized for its speed and accuracy in real-time object detection. This algorithm employs deep learning techniques to identify and classify objects with high precision on enhanced brain image datasets. The model's performance was evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and computation time. Results indicate that the combination of AMSR and YOLOv10 improves the accuracy and efficiency of brain tumor detection compared to conventional methods. The YOLOv10 model achieved a detection accuracy of 92%. This study provides significant contributions to early brain tumor detection technology, with important implications for the healthcare sector.

Abstract

The cement industry in Indonesia plays a vital role in infrastructure development and the construction sector. PT. Toyo Mortar Indonesia, established in 2015 in the Tangerang industrial area, focuses on the production of instant mortar cement. However, the national cement industry faces the challenge of declining sales due to the pandemic, which has affected people's purchasing power and slowed down property and infrastructure projects. To achieve future growth potential, the right strategy is needed in sales planning. This study implements data mining using the linear regression method with the RapidMiner application to predict cement product sales. The data used includes historical sales data and product information from PT. Toyo Mortar Indonesia. In the tests conducted, the data was processed using 12 variables, of which 10 variables influenced the prediction results: TM-168, TM-178, TM-188, TM-189, TM-198, UM-100, UM-101, UM BIRU, raw materials, and other sales. The test results show that the Linear Regression method can predict cement product sales with an average Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value of 493,125.701 with a standard deviation of 126,330.525. The average Absolute Error is 303,270.965 with a standard deviation of 46,207.586, and the average relative error is 1.89% with a standard deviation of 0.36%, indicating very good prediction accuracy. This can help the company in making decisions related to sales planning using the available sales data.
