Abstract

In the application of fuel surcharge in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, it is necessary to display data that can help become the basis for the imposition of fuel surcharge from data on the movement of pilot vessels / tugboats which is the basis for the imposition of fuel surcharge in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok, this research was conducted to help provide information to workers, Kesyahbandaran Otoritas Pelabuhan Utama and ship service users or shipping agents in more detail related to the imposition of fuel surcharge in the PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok environment, using data mining methods in fuel surcharge peneran as a consideration to make it easier to understand, easier to see and easier to operate. With this data mining method, it will help the company to become an important data and facilitate workers in the data collection section related to fuel surcharge in which there is a recap of the number of ship movements, the number of notes, the strength of groos tons (GT), house power (HP) of the ship and payment status. The use of data mining methods is expected to be a solution for workers in data collection and become a history of fuel surcharge collection within PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Tanjung Priok.

Abstract

Misusing social media can make the process of verifying information abandoned and the information or news consumed by the public even more misleading. This study will discuss the representation of the impact of Hoaxes shown in the film Budi Pekerti by Wregas Bhanuteja. The aim is to analyze how the representation of the effects of Hoaxes depicted through viral content in the movie raises social issues today. This study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive and uses the Roland Barthes semiotic analysis method through three stages that are presented in analyzing the meaning of signs, namely, the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth, with data collection techniques, namely non-participant observation and documentation in the form of screen capture. The results of this research in the film Budi Pekerti present the impact of Hoaxes that can lead people to negative perceptions and negative comments quickly, cause cyberbullying and damaged reputation, cause the phenomenon of cancel culture, cause a domino effect and truth that is no longer important in a person's life. This research also provides awareness that you must be wise and ethical in social media by not being easily incited, finding out the truth first, not behaving impulsively, and having a sense of empathy.

Abstract

The digitalization of healthcare services has transformed the Indonesian healthcare business, making health services more accessible. Digitalization improves medical services and outcomes. However, the academic community frequently encounters challenges when using Telkomedika services or getting information fast. As a result, further efforts are needed to ensure that the platform provides a seamless and efficient user experience. One area that can be improved is the user interface. A more engaging design can help users navigate the site more easily. This incorporates a cleaner, clearer layout and a responsive design, allowing consumers to use all Telkomedika functions with ease. This study used a design thinking technique to develop the user interface and experience for the Telkomedika application, taking into account the Influence personality type. According to the DISC model, this type identifies people who are outgoing, extroverted, and prefer broad social circles. According to the findings, this technique efficiently meets patients' demands and preferences, resulting in increased comfort and pleasure.

Abstract

Social media Twitter, or now called X, not only serves as an effective communicative medium, but it can also make it easier for people to find information or interact directly with other X users, and become a container for holding opinions. X users in Indonesia often express their opinions on all areas including sports, especially the Indonesian Football Team, which has recently been heatedly discussed because of the talent of all the players who succeeded in attracting the attention not only of football fans, but of the entire Indonesia public at the AFC ASIA CUP U 23 2024 competition held in the country of Qatar. The study uses the Naive Baiyes classification method to analyze the sentiment of comments and comments on Social Media X against each match. Sentiment data from user comments on social media X is collected and classified as positive, and negative. The final results of sentimental analysis using the naïve bayes method showed accuracy values of 73.94% out of 972 datasets, with 143 predicted negative data and 828 predictable positive data. So it can be concluded that most of the public's perception is positive because they see the struggle and performance of the Indonesian National Football Team in making the nation proud.

Abstract

Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar are two political figures with different backgrounds and profiles, but both have significant achievements. They face rivalry in the 2024 election with other candidates from political parties or independents. Their winning teams played an important role in shaping the candidate's image and gaining public support, especially through social media. This research focuses on the political communication strategy of the AMIN success team in gaining public support via Twitter. The research method used is qualitative with in-depth interviews and observation. The research results show that the team successfully used four communication strategies: propaganda and persuasion, use of mass media, agenda setting and framing, and public participation and interaction. The successful team faced several obstacles, including segments of society that were not active on social media and limited campaign funds. This hinders the implementation of broader and more inclusive communication strategies, such as face-to-face campaigns and the use of traditional media. Even though the strategy on Twitter has succeeded in creating an interactive digital public space, it is still necessary to expand the reach of the campaign and overcome funding limitations to increase the overall effectiveness of the campaign.

Abstract

The contractor industry, including CV Safina Abadi, has a significant need for selecting the right suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Optimal supplier selection can affect various critical aspects of a construction project, such as product quality, availability, competitive pricing, service, and reputation. However, due to the numerous supplier options available, companies often face difficulties in evaluating and choosing the most suitable supplier based on their needs and criteria. Therefore, utilizing a Decision Support System (DSS) with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method presents an effective solution to assist companies in the supplier selection process. By employing AHP, companies can model a hierarchy of selection criteria, from main criteria down to more detailed sub-criteria. AHP further enables companies to measure and compare the relative weights of each criterion and sub-criterion, providing recommendations for the most optimal supplier based on the company's preferences and requirements. This research aims to design and implement a Decision Support System using the AHP method to assist in supplier selection for CV Safina Abadi. It is hoped that this study will contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of supplier selection, thereby enhancing overall project performance in the construction industry.

Abstract

The relocation of Indonesia's capital city has been a highly debated topic in recent years. This decision has sparked various opinions and views from the public, especially as reflected on social media platforms like Twitter. This research aims to understand the perspectives and attitudes of Indonesian citizens regarding the plan to move the capital to Nusantara, as expressed on Twitter. Sentiment analysis using the Naïve Bayes algorithm is employed to classify tweets into positive and negative sentiment categories. By leveraging data from Twitter, this study aims to provide deeper insights into public perception and attitudes towards the relocation of the government center. The research used a dataset of 375 tweets. The results, analyzed using RapidMiner, show that the precision for positive sentiment is 94.89% and for negative sentiment is 65.00%. The recall for negative sentiment is 48.15%, while the recall for positive sentiment reaches 97.38%. The model's accuracy is 92.82%, indicating that the Naïve Bayes algorithm can effectively classify sentiments using the available data. This study offers insights into public support and opposition, as well as the factors influencing their attitudes towards the capital relocation plan.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The bacteria can enter the lungs, causing the patient to experience shortness of breath and chronic coughing. The infection process in TB progresses through three main stages: primary infection, latent infection, and active infection. During the primary infection stage, the bacteria enter the lungs through inhaled air. If the immune system successfully controls the bacteria, the infection becomes latent, where the bacteria remain inactive and cause no symptoms. However, if the immune system fails, the infection becomes active, and the bacteria attack healthy lung cells, leading to severe symptoms. Tuberculosis remains a major cause of global morbidity and mortality. According to the 2022 WHO report, Indonesia ranks second in the world with an estimated 969,000 TB cases, or 354 per 100,000 people, and a mortality rate of 144,000, or 52 per 100,000 people. This study aims to improve the accuracy of TB diagnosis through the application of the Naive Bayes algorithm, applied to patient data from the Pegangsaan Dua B Community Health Center. The dataset includes 1,527 training data and 1,029 testing data, covering attributes such as patient name, gender, age, identification number, registration date, address, diagnosis status, and diagnosis results. The results indicate that the Naive Bayes algorithm achieved an accuracy of 99.71%, showing its potential for early and accurate TB diagnosis prediction.

Abstract

The internet plays a vital role in supporting business operations in companies or organizations by accelerating the flow of information and enabling real-time connections. According to a report by We Are Social, the number of internet users in Indonesia reached 213 million in January 2023, accounting for about 77% of the total population. However, despite the numerous ISPs in Indonesia, not all internet services are affordable or of high quality, and some areas remain inaccessible to providers using fiber optic connections. PT. Tiga Kawan Sertifikasi, a company engaged in legal services in Tangerang, faces challenges with its internet connection as it relies solely on a single provider, Orbit from Telkomsel. Issues arise when the modem signal frequently drops due to the use of SIM card media instead of fiber optic cables. The proposed solution is to add another provider as an alternative and implement a failover method on a Mikrotik router to ensure a stable connection.

Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, which is marked by the rapid progress of computer networks and the internet, network security at Layer 2 is part of the Data Link Layer in the OSI model, which is very important considering the increasing number of cyber threats. This research aims to compare the effectiveness of various security algorithms applied to Layer 2 switches, namely MAC Address Filtering with Port Security, VLAN Hopping Mitigation, and DHCP Snooping. Some of these methods have the function or purpose of creating MAC address filtering, port limitations, VLAN protection, ARP, etc. The device used to conduct this research is a Cisco Switch. This research uses an experimental approach by implementing each method in different network scenarios and comparing it with external data, measuring effectiveness based on attack detection and prevention, as well as its impact on network performance, then combining several of these methods into one scope. The results show that each method has its own advantages and disadvantages, which function to block various types of attacks such as Flooding, Snooping, and Rogue DHCP. It is highly recommended to combine all security methods into one integrated system.
