Abstract

Proposal titled "START - UP BUSINESS DESIGN AND INSTANT SPICES PROTOTYPE" contains the draft business start-ups and instant spices prototypes are intended for people who was busy with their work so they can’t spare some amount of time to cook. This business start-up draft was made because the community needed a way to shorten their cooking time. The purpose of the business design and instant spices is to create a spices that can shorten the cooking time people who have a limited amount of time. Preparation of proposals will be based on the survey.

Abstract

Nowadays, Surabaya is famous with new inventions created in cullinary world. Therefore, people are starting to be insterested learning cooking or baking on their own. However, baking requires steps that are not easy. Minutesbake is a business focusing on culinary product, especially cakes. Unlike cakes in general, Minutesbake it’s an instant baking mix that only use microwave and cooked in a mug. The purpose of this research is to find out the amount of interests towards Minutesbake, as well as to learn target market’s needs and wants. The research method that will used are through quantitative and qualitative method.

Abstract

Since the emergence of social media, especially instagram image’s quality become an attention, it had a positive impact on the development of photography and other things that support such as photo studios, photographers, and camera. However, the camera certainly has limitations on the result, the sharpness of the colors and the dimensions of the resulting image from the camera can be maximized and some photographers may not be particularly good at editing especially digital imaging. Therefore this study aimed to design a digital imaging studio. The study was conducted with qualitative, quantitative and literature studies. Results of the study are expected in the form of digital imaging studio focused in terms of editing, compositing, and modification of visual elements in the final image.

Abstract

Most design companies requires a rather expensive budget to design a brand and it also does not have transparent work structure. Which most of startup companies do not have a sufficent financial to do so and they also need a transparent work structure to inform them how will their design will be made. Thus, the purpose of this study is to form a business that is able to answer those needs. By using a qualitative research methods, which is interviewing two startup business owners. The result is to form a design company with a clear pricing structure and clear SOPs.

Abstract

Heinnick is a company that produce leather guitar’s bag that can be customized and made of genuine leather. Nowadays, manyguitarists are rising. To carry their guitar, guitarist use a bag that is widely available on the market. However, the bag’s material and shape is nearly equal. From the research, guitarist wants a guitar bag which is durable, strong, safe for guitar, customable, so the guitarist can be taken properly and safely, but still stylish and trendy, because guitar bags on the market less suitable with their wants, and not accommodate their needs.

Abstract

With the raise of expectation and pressure in everyday life, each individu need a solution to release their stress. Bathing has become a relaxation time for an individual. Therefore, the quality of the relaxation aspect in any body care product should be enhanced. Designing the natural skin care products which are more attractive and trendy is expected to fulfill the needs of the fullfilled and experiencer as the target of these products. There are several theories that will be used in this paper such as 4 Lenses of Innovation, Ten Types of Innovation, SCAMPER, and VALS. These theories will be used to guide the business plan making of the natural skin care products.

Abstract

Mind Production is a conceptual video producer company for Indonesian Hip- Hop dancer which is produce the video with the best concept and quality, also adding the value of Indonesia onto the concept to show the quality of Indonesian talents. The purpose of this research is to build a conceptual video producer business. There are 2 methods that are going to be use in this research, quantitative (questionnaire) and qualitative (interview). Hopefully from this research the researcher could build the right Business.

Abstract

The growth of smartphone users in Indonesia continues to increase, Indonesia can be considered as a promising market for smartphone application industry. But not many local businesses taking serious effort into this market. Local applications available at this market also tend to be deficient and can not compete with foreign applications, it also create a negative perception in the community to the Indonesian application developer. The research method is done by observations, and interviewing extreme and expert user, brings out a conclusion that it requires a high quality local application development studio brand to solve.

Abstract

“FRY Workshop” is a studio that make and producing clay toys called “Figure”. In Surabaya nowadays, it’s very rare to find business that offers service for making a souvenir in the shape of “Figurines”. It’s why the purpose of this research is to know what are our target market wants for this product. With quantitative research method, the results are many of the consumer are interested and accepted for this customized “Figure” service in accordance with their wishes, a unique packaging is required for making this product into a souvenir or gifts. This is a business chance for FRY workshop.

Abstract

This design is made in order to make a brand activation and promotional media for Ourstories wedding invitation apps. Ourstories is a business that works in the field of wedding invitation based on digital apps, so it requires the brand activation and promotion of the right media so it can be recognized by the target market of Ourstories. Brand activation strategies undertaken by Ourstories is following a wedding exhibition and event promotion through social media.
