Abstract

Digital transformation is a crucial factor for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in the fashion sector to enhance business performance amidst shifting consumer behaviors and increasingly technology-driven market competition. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital transformation on the performance of fashion-sector MSEs supported by Rumah BUMN Jakarta. A quantitative approach employing descriptive and verificative methods was used. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 282 MSE operators using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with the aid of SPSS. The results indicate that the implementation of digital transformation among fashion-sector MSEs falls into the moderate category and has a positive, significant impact on business performance. The coefficient of determination test yielded an R-Square value of 0.477, meaning that digital transformation accounts for 47.7% of the variation in MSE performance, while the remaining 52.3% is explained by factors outside the model. These findings demonstrate that the utilization of digital technology plays a vital role in boosting the performance of fashion-sector MSEs, particularly through market expansion, an increased customer base, and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Snap-fit joints are widely used in industry due to the fast and simple assembly process they enable; however, selecting the appropriate materials and dimensions is crucial for achieving optimal locking strength and structural integrity. This study aims to determine the combination of material, snap-fit arm thickness, and cantilever length that yields optimal performance for a snap-fit joint in a motorcycle luggage application. The research employed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations using SolidWorks Simulation and Design of Experiments (DoE) to evaluate the influence of these three parameters on locking force, maximum stress, deformation, and the factor of safety. Simulation results indicate that ABS withstood the highest locking force of 46.2 N, with a simulated stress of 5.0 MPa and a deformation of 4.7 mm. PP exhibited the lowest deformation (1.62 mm) at a force of 32.6 N, while HDPE produced the lowest stress at a force of 21.7 N. Based on considerations of locking strength and structural integrity under heavy load conditions, ABS was identified as the best material. Optimization results show that ABS provides a 23% increase in strength compared to the other material alternatives. These findings demonstrate that material selection must balance load-bearing capacity and deformation response to achieve an optimal snap-fit design.

Abstract

The quality of service provided by educational support staff is a crucial aspect of the student academic experience. At Balikpapan University, these services are delivered by administrative staff in faculties, laboratories, and the library. While measuring satisfaction using a Likert scale offers an overview of student ratings, its categorical nature can limit the representation of satisfaction levels, which are inherently gradual. This study aims to analyze student satisfaction levels regarding educational support staff services using the Mamdani fuzzy inference method. Data were collected from 53 active students via a 15-item questionnaire and grouped into three input variables: services provided by faculty, laboratory, and library staff. Each variable was represented by four linguistic sets—dissatisfied, less satisfied, satisfied, and very satisfied—with membership boundaries calibrated based on empirical minimum and maximum scores. The inference process employed max-min composition and the centroid defuzzification method. The analysis revealed high satisfaction levels across all three service aspects, and the overall defuzzification results classified respondents into categories ranging from "Satisfied" to "Very Satisfied." These findings demonstrate that the Mamdani fuzzy approach can effectively represent gradual levels of student satisfaction and yield a more structured classification of questionnaire data.

Abstract

Limited availability of high-quality forage during the dry season is a major challenge for small-scale goat farming in Wonorejo Village, Trenggalek, despite the area's abundant post-harvest corn residue biomass. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of extension activities in enhancing the knowledge and skills of farmers in the Toto Raharjo Farmer Group regarding the application of fermented feed technology. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing extension methods such as lectures, practical demonstrations, and the distribution of structured brochures. Data were collected via pre-tests, post-tests, and observation sheets involving 30 purposively selected respondents, and subsequently analyzed using interval techniques. Evaluation results revealed an increase in farmers' knowledge, with the average score rising from 47.06 (fair category) in the pre-test to 88.93 (good category) in the post-test. Practical skills also improved, with the average score increasing from 40.00 (fair category) to 100.00 (good category) following the participatory demonstration. These findings indicate that a combination of interactive lectures and practical demonstrations is effective in enhancing farmers' knowledge and skills in applying fermented feed technology based on corn residue. Thus, extension activities represent a relevant approach to supporting the utilization of agricultural waste as alternative feed during the dry season

Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has driven growth in the technology sector and the emergence of AI-based crypto assets, making the relationships between these assets a subject worthy of study. This research analyzes the price relationships between Nvidia (NVDA) stock and Bitcoin (BTC), Bittensor (TAO), NEAR Protocol (NEAR), and Internet Computer (ICP), while comparing the performance of Prophet and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models. A quantitative approach utilizing time-series analysis was employed. Daily closing price and volume data were obtained from CoinMarketCap for the crypto assets and Investing.com for NVDA, covering the period from January 16, 2025, to February 18, 2026—comprising 273 observations aligned with NVDA's trading days. The analysis encompassed descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) stationarity test, Prophet and LSTM modeling, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) evaluation. The results reveal varying strengths in inter-asset relationships and differing stationarity characteristics across the price series. LSTM tended to project price increases for the crypto assets and a decline for NVDA, whereas Prophet yielded more conservative projections. Based on MAPE, Prophet exhibited an average prediction error 12.9% lower than that of LSTM, indicating superior predictive performance during the study period.

Abstract

The Tax Justice Network (2024) reported that Indonesia loses approximately US$2.98 billion annually due to corporate tax avoidance practices. This condition indicates that tax avoidance remains an issue that requires serious attention. This study aims to examine the effect of capital intensity, inventory intensity, and leverage on tax avoidance, with the audit committee serving as a moderating variable. This study employed a quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of annual financial statements. The research sample consisted of 61 manufacturing companies in the consumer non-cyclicals subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period, resulting in a total of 183 observations selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using panel data regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with EViews version 13 software. The results indicate that capital intensity has a significant effect on tax avoidance, while inventory intensity and leverage have no effect on tax avoidance. In addition, the audit committee is unable to moderate the effect of capital intensity, inventory intensity, and leverage on tax avoidance. Future research is recommended to include additional variables that may influence tax avoidance and extend the observation period to obtain more comprehensive findings.

Abstract

Return on Assets (ROA) is a crucial indicator for measuring the profitability of Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS), as it reflects a bank's ability to generate profit from its managed assets. BUS profitability can be influenced by financing quality, the capacity to distribute funds, and operational efficiency—factors respectively reflected by the Non-Performing Financing (NPF) ratio, Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Operating Expense Ratio (OER). This study aims to analyze the impact of NPF, FDR, and OER on the ROA of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia. It employs a quantitative, associative research approach. The study utilizes secondary data from annual financial reports covering the 2021–2025 period, comprising 59 observations, and applies multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that while NPF does not have a significant effect on ROA, both FDR and OER do. Collectively, the three variables explain 26% of the variation in ROA. These findings suggest that BUS profitability is more closely linked to the effectiveness of financing distribution and operational efficiency; consequently, management should prioritize these two aspects to enhance the bank's profitability performance.
