Abstract

his study aims to describe phrase errors in syntax in the writing of fable texts of Class VII students of SMP Somba Opu Gowa Regency, describe sentence errors in syntax in the writing of fable texts of Class VII students of SMP Somba Opu Gowa Regency. This type of research is qualitative by using descriptive method. The instrument in this research is the researcher (human instrument). Data collection techniques in this study used observation, documentation, reading, and note-taking methods. Data analysis uses data analysis techniques based on Miles and Huberman in the form of data reduction, data validity, and conclusion drawing. The results showed phrase errors in the writing of fable texts of seventh grade students of SMP Somba Opu Gowa Regency, and sentence errors in the writing of fable texts of seventh grade students of SMP Somba Opu Gowa Regency. Phrase errors in syntax include six types of errors, namely: the influence of local language, inaccurate use of prepositions, inaccurate phrase structure, excessive use of elements, excessive use of superlative forms and inaccurate use of reciprocal forms. Sentence errors in syntax include five types of errors, namely sentences without subjects, illogical sentences, ambiguous sentences, excessive use of conjunctions, and non-parallel sentence order.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the phonological interference form of speech of former migrant workers in Tanah Eja Hamlet, Bulukumba Regency; and (2) describe the form of semantic interference of former migrant workers' speech in Tanah Eja hamlet, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. This research was conducted in Tanah Eja hamlet, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. The focus of this research and the limitations of this research include tuturain kaita that experience interference, then studied in the semaintic category that is only related to lexical meaning. As for the phonological category, three types of phonological interference will be focused, namely phonological interference, phoneme changes, phoneme addition, and phoneme reduction / removal interference. The source of this research data was obtained by dairi haisil waiwaincairai laingsung maintain TKI in Tainaih Ejai Kaibupaiten Bulukumba hamlet. Data collection techniques through interview techniques, voice recording techniques, listening techniques and recording techniques. The research instrument consists of the main instrument is the researcher himself and supporting instruments include voice recorders, respondent biodata questionnaires, and interference data tables.The results revealed that from the results of direct interview research 15 respondents contained a total of 35 words phonological interference. The most abundant and frequent data is the category of changes in vowel phonemes in the middle of words. In addition, respondents were shown to experience semantic interference by obtaining 15 forms of conversation and 28 types of words that experienced interference, this conversation was quoted during structured and semi-structured interviews of former migrant workers in Tanah Eja hamlet.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe forms of politeness and forms of politeness violations in the Makassar language towards kinship relations in the Barombong community of Makassar City. This type of research is qualitative research. Data was collected through the method of listening, being involved, taking notes and recording. This research data is in the form of words, phrases and sentences. The data source for this research is the speech of parents and children. Data analysis was carried out by researching transcription of data recorded during conversations in the field. The next process was data reduction, analyzing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is obtained from the triangulation process using the triangulation technique of methods, data sources, observers and theory. The results of the research show that the principles of politeness in language are in the form of (1) maxim of wisdom (2) maxim of acceptance, (3) maxim of praise, (4) maxim of humility, (5) maxim of agreement and (6) maxim of sympathy. The forms of violation of language politeness maxims are (1) wisdom maxim, (2) acceptance maxim, (3) praise maxim, (4) humility maxim, (5) agreement maxim and (6) sympathy maxim

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of Mantra Pattuik Tau Gula of Makassar Community Tradition in Borongtala Village, Jeneponto Regency based on heuristic reading. The type and design of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study is the meaning of the pattuik tau gula mantra which is the primary data used in the treatment process based on informants about the meaning of the Pattuik Tau Gula Mantra. The results of this study found that there are nine pattuik tau gula therapy mantras including four pattuik tau gula therapy mantras (wet), four pattuik tau gula therapy mantras (dry) and one pattuik tau gula wound mantra. In the heuristic reading, some pattuik tau gula therapy mantras have different meanings, but there are also some pattuik tau gula mantras that have the same meaning and words when interpreted word by word and sentence by sentence. Overall, the meanings contained in the nine pattuik tau gula therapy mantras describe: requests for healing, expulsion of evil creatures and protection to Allah Swt.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the magical value contained in the novel Sunyaruri by Risa Saraswati. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by describing the data obtained based on the theoretical studies used. The data used in this research are texts that describe the magical value in the novel Sunyaruri by Risa Saraswati using magical realism studies. The results show that there are four magical values that describe magical values in each quote in the novel, namely magical values based on place, magical values based on spirits, magical values based on objects and magical values based on sound

Abstract

This research aims to: describe the ability of 8th-grade students at SMPN 26 Makassar in writing Rupama literature before using the show not tell technique; describe the ability of 8th-grade students at SMPN 26 Makassar in writing Rupama literature after using the show not tell technique, and; describe the effectiveness of the use of the show not tell technique in writing Rupama literature for 8th-grade students at SMPN 26 Makassar. This study is an Experimental Research. The research design is One Group Pretest Posttest. The variables in the study are the show not tell technique and the writing ability of Rupama literature for 8th-grade students at SMPN 26 Makassar. The research sample consists of students from the 8th grade at SMPN 26 Makassar. The data collection technique used is the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest). The data analysis technique includes descriptive statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and graphs. The results of this research indicate that: the ability to write Rupama literature by students before using the show not tell technique is categorized as subpar, the ability to write Rupama literature by students after using the show not tell technique is categorized as sufficient, and the show not tell technique is not effective in improving the ability to write Rupama literature.

Abstract

He aim of this research is to describe the myths in the Songkabala ritual of the Galesong people of Takalar Regency. The results of this research show that in the songkabala ritual process of the Galesong community of Takalar Regency, it has (1) denotation meaning, namely Unti teknek/sweet banana, jepek/porridge, bente, dupa, tai bani/liling, songkolok, bayao/egg, tumpi-tumpi, jeknek Kaluku / Coconut water, Doek / Money. Meaning (2) connotation, namely Unti teknek/sweet banana means the path of life will be sweet, Jepek/porridge means life will be happy, Bente means having abundant fortune, Dupa, Tai bani/ Liling to illuminate people's lives, Songkolok, Bayao/ Eggs , Tumpi-tumpi, Jeknek kaluku / Coconut water, Doek / Money. The meaning of (3) myths is that Unti teknek/Sweet banana means that there will be a series of disasters, Jepek/Push means life will not be happy, Bente means not having sustenance, Dupa means all bad things will go away, Tai bani/Liling has no brightness in life, Songkolok means that the family will fall apart and not find a soul mate, Bayao/Egg if the egg is cracked, it is a sign that someone wants to do evil, Tumpi-tumpi means avoiding disaster in any way, Jeknek Kaluku/Coconut water has a heart that is not dirty, Doek/Money, It was interpreted by the community as not feeling good towards Panrita

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the meanings that exist in the Assongkabala procession procession in Galesong, Takalar Regency. The results showed that the analysis of the meaning of paruntuk kana in the Assongkabala procession in Galesong, Takalar Regency presented the symbolic meaning of: (1) Attunu incense (2) Esaki tamparang leklenga nampa antakle anyombalang (3) Apalele umbu (4) Songkolok asepunu lekleng sagang songkolok asepunu kebo (5)nataba karro (6) Kappara gallang (7) leko ri talang bulaeng (8) attongrang (9) Apparappo ri tamparanga (10) Tena na sambarang allo assongkabala allo jumapi (11) Babbaraki buttaya. The meaning contains turiolo advice that is useful for people who listen. Traditional rituals such as the Assongkabala procession are very important to maintain their existence because apart from being a legacy of ancestors, they can also maintain social stability in society and religion because they foster a sense of togetherness and solidarity in society and family.

Abstract

This research aims to: identify the form of HOTS questions at the analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6) levels of Indonesian language practice questions for class IX SMP on the Ruang Guru application. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research instrument used is documentation research. The research results show that: HOTS form at analyzing level (C4) with indicators of distinguishing, organizing and attributing, HOTS question form at evaluating level (C5) with indicators examining and criticizing. Finally, form HOTS questions at the creating level (C6) with implementing indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between the type of student reading and Indonesian learning outcomes. The Relationship Between Types of Reading Materials and Reading Interest with Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 13 Tompobulu Maros Regency. The type of research used in this study is correlational using Total Sampling which takes the sample as a whole. Data collection techniques using Checklist questionnaire. After processing the data, the researcher found that the correlation coefficient number in the above results is positive, namely the relationship between X1 with Y is 0.135 and X2 with Y is 0.137, thus it can be interpreted that the more interest in reading is increased according to what students are interested in, the student's Indonesian learning outcomes will also increase.
