Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the cultural values of Makassar in the film Girl Bululce by Armin Super, using cultural theory. In this research using ghaeryası techniques and document studies. The results of this research show that there is a representation of Makassar cultural values in the film Girl Bululoe, namely, pacce cultural values were found in 7 data in the film Girl Bululoe that pacce is a sense of empathy and caring for other humans and easy compassion for humans. Sipakatau cultural values were found in 4 data in the film Girl Bululoe is sipakatau wich means mutual respect, respect and treating all humans well regardless of social status. The cultural value of lambusuk was found in 2 data in the film Girl Bululoe, namely that lambusuk is an attitude of honesty towards oneself, honesty towards humans. Juur towards God Almighty. The cultural value off barani was found in 4 data in the film Girl Bululoe that barani are those who act bravely and heave grat courage. The value of hard work was found 4 data in the film Girls Bululoe, namely reso which means hard work was found 4 data in the film Girls Bululoe, namely reso which means hard work seriously with the aim of achieving a career. Hard work with economic goals, and also education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conventional learning model in the control class in determining speaking ability, cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray in the experimental class in determining speaking ability, and the effectiveness of the use of cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray in determining speaking ability during Indonesian language learning for VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa.  The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach, the data source is Indonesian language teacher in SMP 1 Sungguminasa. The form of data in this study is the skill of providing reinforcement by Indonesian language teachers. The data collection technique in this research is oral technique. The results showed that the conventional learning model in the control class was in the less category with an average value of 57.65% which means that students are less able to stimulate students' speaking activeness. Furthermore, the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model in the experimental class is in the good category with an average value of 86.94% which means that students are able to improve their speaking skills well. Then, the cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray Type is effectively used in learning students' speaking skills compared to the conventional learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 167 Inpres Malewang, Takalar District, through the application of the role-playing method. This research is of a quantitative nature. Data collection in this research was carried out through testing techniques on the research sample. The overall data obtained were analyzed through several stages: 1) creating a raw score list, 2) creating a frequency distribution and raw score, 3) calculating the scores obtained by students, and 4) classifying students' skills based on the specified criteria. The research results indicate that students who scored 75-100 were 15 individuals (75%) out of 20 samples and have achieved the established criteria, which is 75% of the samples scoring 75-100. It is evident from the scores and percentages of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 167 Inpres Malewang, Takalar District, in learning to speak the Makassar language through the application of the role-playing method that they are categorized as skilled.

Abstract

This research is quantitative descriptive research which aims to describe the impact of using term-equivalent content on followers' absorption of terms. The method used is a survey method with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The accumulated results state that the indicator for using content is equivalent to terms on Instagram with a percentage result of 65.62%. In the indicator of absorption of the term followers with a percentage result of 75.69%. The impact of the use of term-equivalent content on Instagram @badanbahankemendikbud on followers' absorption of terms can be seen from the various comments given by followers regarding term-equivalent content, followers' understanding of equivalent terms from foreign languages is broader, apart from that, followers' insight and vocabulary are also increase. They can understand the vocabulary that they initially misunderstood after looking at the equivalent content of the term.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of expressive speech acts of teachers and students as well as describe the strategies of teacher speech acts towards students in the learning process at Al-Biruni Mandiri Jipang IT Kindergarten in Makassar City. Type of descriptive qualitative research. Data in the form of written data from voice recordings. The data source is teacher and student speech. Data collection techniques use listening, documentation and note-taking The results of the research revealed that there were 11 expressive speech acts by teachers and 1 expressive speech act by students and 6 strategies were found by teachers in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the skills of writing Bugis poetry using audiovisual media of class IX Mts students. Puteri Sengkang Center, Wajo Regency. The population in this study was all class IX Mts. The number of Sengkang Central Girls in Wajo Regency is 362 people consisting of 14 classes. The sample for this research was 53 people from two different classes, namely IX.1 and IX.7 using purposive sampling. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of written tests. The research results showed that the highest score was in the 80-89 range obtained by 28 samples with a percentage (53%) in the skilled category. Minimum Completeness Criteria for Writing Bugis Poetry at MTs Schools. Puteri Pusat Sengkang was declared Complete because 47 students got a score of 74-100 with a percentage of 89% and 6 people got a score of 0-74 with a percentage of 11%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the initial reading ability of the lontarak script of class III students at SDN NO. 204 Balang Presidential Instruction, Takalar Regency. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all class III students at SDN NO. 204 Inpres Balang, totaling 19 people, is only in 1 class. The sample determined was 19 students, using a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a test technique, namely an oral test. The data collected will be analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that the ability to read the beginning of the lontarak script of class III students at SDN No. 204 Balang Presidential Instruction Takalar Regency is declared incapable. This can be seen from the percentage of students who obtained a score ≥ 75 in the capable category that did not reach the set criteria, namely 75%, but only achieved 42.1%.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research that aims to describe Indonesian sentence pattern errors, Indonesian diction errors in online media news Tribun-Timur.com. The data in the research are news sentences containing Indonesian sentence pattern errors and Indonesian diction errors. The data source of this research is news published by Tribun-Timur.com online media published in its portal in the period August to November 2023. The results of this study show that: Indonesian sentence pattern errors on Tribun-Timur.com news, including Subject Errors, namely subject errors that do not match the number, wrong word selection, grammatical conformity errors; Predicate Errors in Tribun-Timur. Object Errors, which are discrepancies between the subject and predicate in a sentence; Object Errors, which are discrepancies in the type of nouns, discrepancies in the number of nouns, discrepancies in the use of object pronouns, and discrepancies in prepositions; Description Errors, which are discrepancies in time, discrepancies in place, discrepancies in manner, discrepancies in intensity level, and discrepancies in order; Complementary errors, namely mismatch of complement type, mismatch of complement number, mismatch of conjunction, mismatch of complement meaning, and mismatch of complement phrase; and Indonesian diction errors on Tribun-Timur. com news, namely the use of words that are not in accordance with the value of taste, the use of words through language styles that create nuances of negative ideas, and the use of words that cause ambiguity.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive quantitative study that aims to describe the ability to read aloud Bugis story texts of fifth grade students of SDN 85 Wanua Baru, Maros Regency. The population of this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 85 Wanua Baru, Maros Regency in the 2023/2024 school year, totaling 15 students. The withdrawal of samples in this study was carried out by means of total sampling because the population was less than one hundred. The data collection techniques used in this study were oral test techniques and recording techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. There are four aspects of assessment used in this study, namely aspects of fluency, aspects of the use of intonation, aspects of pronunciation, and aspects of voice volume. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, it shows that the ability to read aloud Bugis story text of fifth grade students of SDN 85 Wanua Baru Maros Regency, namely (1) the fluency aspect of students who scored above 70, namely 10 people with a percentage of 60% declared unable, (2) the aspect of using intonation of students who scored above 70, namely 8 people with a percentage of 53% declared unable, (3) the aspect of pronunciation of students who scored above 70, namely 3 people with a percentage of 20% declared unable, and (4) the aspect of voice volume of students who scored above 70, namely 12 people with a percentage of 80% declared able

Abstract

This research aims to examine the values of character education and describe the implementation of character education values contained in the Indonesian language textbook Merdeka Curriculum for Class VII SMP. This research uses a qualitative type of research using a descriptive design. The data collection technique used is documentation, reading and note taking. The results of the research show that the character education values contained in the Independent Curriculum Indonesian Language Textbook for Class VII SMP are: religiosity, nationalism, integrity, independence and mutual cooperation. Meanwhile, the implementation of the character education values contained in the Indonesian Language Textbook, Independent Curriculum for Class VII SMP, is carried out and implemented in the school, family and community environment.
