SANISKALA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by FKIP Universitas Majalengka. It is on the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. SANISKALA: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat contains various activities of lecturers in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involves the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. Jurnal Saniskala is an open-access journal published twice a year (May and November). We accept articles of the author can be derived various countries, with the scientific field of Education.

Abstract

Tujuan pelatihan adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang penggunaan marketplace, membantu UMKM dalam pembuatan NIB dan sertifikasi halal untuk memenuhi standar regulasi dan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung semua pelaku UMKM di Desa Pangauban untuk berkembang, bersaing di era digital, serta meningkatkan kemampuan produksi dan pemasaran. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu survey, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi, dan diseminar kepada seluruh para pelaku UMKM di Desa Pangauban, Kecamatan Pacet, Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil pelatihan memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat Desa Pangauban. Salah satunya adalah peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya pemasaran online dan legalitas produk.

Abstract

Minat mempengaruhi kemampuan anak mempelajari sesuatu. Bagi guru, anak-anak dengan semangat belajar akan lebih mudah membimbing mereka dalam mencapai prestasi belajar yang optimal. Terdapat banyak faktor yang bisa menyebabkan menurunnya minat belajar, seperti jumlah media pembelajaran yang terbatas dan tidak menarik, fasilitas pendidikan yang buruk, kualitas pembelajaran, dan kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam membimbing pendidikan anak. Kurangnya minat belajar ini menyebabkan penurunan kecerdasan yang signifikan. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa menyediakan lingkungan belajar kreatif berupa bimbingan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan belajar dalam meningkatkan minat belajar anak-anak di Nagari Salimpaung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah anak-anak sekolah dasar yang berada di Nagari Salimpaung khususnya jorong Nan II Suku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar anak meningkat dibuktikan dengan antusisme anak dalam menghadiri dan menjawab pertanyaan pembimbing, jumlah anak yang tidak membuat tugas sudah berkurang, dan anak-anak yang biasanya malas belajar sudah menunjukkan minat belajar yang signifikan.

Abstract

English speech training is one of the efforts to improve students' speaking skills. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of English speech training in improving speaking skills among students of Madura State Islamic Institute. The research methods used are speech practice, group discussion, presentation, and test. The results showed that English speech training can significantly improve students' speaking ability. This training can also increase students' confidence and motivation in communicating using English. The main objective was to give students the opportunity to practice public speaking. By practicing, students can overcome their low self-confidence and improve their speaking skills effectively. Therefore, English speech training can be an effective strategy in improving students' speaking skills. Hopefully, this training program can be continued and expanded to reach more students, in order to create a generation that is better equipped to communicate effectively in English.

Abstract

The development of technology in the field of education has created opportunities for educators to design more interactive and engaging learning media. One platform that can be utilized is Wordwall, a digital tool that enables teachers to create various types of quizzes, educational games, and other interactive activities. This community service program aims to enhance the skills of prospective mathematics teachers in using Wordwall as an innovative learning medium, thereby increasing student motivation and engagement in the learning process. The implementation methods of this program include training, mentoring, and hands-on practice in designing and applying Wordwall-based learning media. The primary target of this program is prospective mathematics teachers at Universitas Majalengka who seek to develop more dynamic and enjoyable teaching methods. The results of this program indicate that the training participants were able to integrate Wordwall into their teaching, showing a significant improvement in creativity and teaching effectiveness. Moreover, the use of Wordwall has proven to increase students' interest in learning due to its interactive and game-based nature.

Abstract

Public speaking is one of the skills that needs to be developed early on to build effective communication skills. The ability to speak in public is one of the soft skills that is needed in everyday life and the professional world. However, many students in elementary school still experience difficulties in public speaking. Therefore, this article aims to examine the strategies used by teachers in elementary schools in training public speaking to students. This research uses literature (library research) which is descriptive analysis. The procedure for obtaining data is done through document analysis. Document analysis is done by studying literature in the form of books and journal articles related to the material discussed in this article. The results show that strategies such as activity-based learning, the use of visual media, and the provision of positive feedback consistently improve students' confidence and speaking ability. This article concludes that practicing public speaking from an early age can help shape a generation that is smart, confident and able to communicate effectively.
