Abstract

Free sex in teenagers is a phenomenon that is increasingly prevalent. This study aims to explain effective ways to overcome teenage promiscuous sexual behavior, using the view of 1 Corinthians 15:33 in the Bible. Through a qualitative approach, this study analyzed data from in-depth interviews with teenagers and parents as well as a review of related literature. The results show that an approach that emphasizes the development of moral values, open communication between parents and children, as well as the establishment of a supportive environment and promoting healthy lifestyles are key in efforts to reduce promiscuous sexual behavior among adolescents. The implication of these findings is the need to be selective in choosing friends, building a close relationship with God, and conducting continuous character building.

Abstract

Teenage promiscuity is a significant challenge in contemporary society. This article aims to present an approach that integrates Christian spirituality in order to tackle this phenomenon. Through a qualitative method with a focus on literature, we explore the role of spirituality in shaping the character of adolescents and providing positive alternatives in dealing with promiscuity. In-depth analysis of theological and psychological sources shows that spirituality is not only a source of internal strength for adolescents, but also plays an important role in building healthy relationships with oneself, others, and God. The results of this study show that the integration of Christian spirituality can be a strong foundation for adolescents in facing the challenges of promiscuity. The practical implications of the findings are presented as a contribution for educators, parents, and youth leaders in guiding adolescents towards a life based on Christian values.

Abstract

In today's fast-paced and always-connected digital life, many individuals experience increased stress due to various reasons. Major issues in the digital era include constant connectivity, information overload, social media pressure, distractions and multitasking, work-life balance, social isolation, and mental and physical health concerns. The aim of this research is to explore how to manage stress effectively to achieve a state of "stress no more" amidst the digital landscape. This study employs a qualitative research approach. The findings suggest strategies for managing stress, such as limiting gadget use, implementing digital detox, maintaining life balance, managing information wisely, practicing relaxation techniques, and seeking help from psychological professionals and counselors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the implementation of this Bible study has a positive and significant influence on the morals of the young men and women of GKPI Simpang Tiga Bahalimbalo, Paranginan Resort in 2022. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The population in this study were all young men and women at GKPI Simpang Tiga Bahalimbalo, Paranginan Resort in 2022 with a total of 52 people. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 30 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of the application of Bible study (PA) on the morals of young men and women at the GKPI Simpang Tiga Bahalimbalo Resort Paranginan in 2022: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.563> rtable ( = 0.05, n = 52) = 0.297 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount value = 4.819> ttable ( = 0.05, dk = n-2 = 50) = 2.000 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y ̂="22.53" + 0.53X. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 31.7%. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Previous research shows that digital learning media can increase student learning motivation, facilitate interaction between teachers and students, and encourage educational innovation. Student participation in the learning process is a key factor in improving the quality of learning. In the context of PAK, student participation can be measured through their level of involvement in discussions, assignments and other activities related to the lesson material. In this paper, the method applied by the author is a qualitative descriptive method with a focus on literature study. where books and other literature are the main focus of his research. Teachers play an important role in integrating digital media in the development of the PAK curriculum. Digital media technology that can be used in developing the Christian Religious Education (PAK) curriculum includes various types of tools and platforms that can improve the quality of learning. The use of digital media in developing the PAK curriculum has shown a significant increase in student participation. Canva is a graphic design tool that allows users to design creative designs online. This is a graphic design platform that can be used to create various types of graphics for social media, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content. Guru also makes it easy to create teaching materials and create Bible text games or create Bible verse quizzes. Even though there are several weaknesses that must be taken into account, this is not a problem that cannot be resolved by presenting material interactively and responsively. Therefore, the use of information technology or digital media is very influential in improving the quality of student learning.

Abstract

Gerakan Oikumene atau ekumenisme memiliki peranan penting dalam upaya menyatukan berbagai denominasi gereja Kristen, terutama dalam konteks pemahaman Alkitab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana konsep Oikumene dipahami dan diimplementasikan berdasarkan ajaran Alkitab, serta dampaknya terhadap kesatuan umat Kristiani. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review, yang melibatkan pengumpulan dan analisis berbagai sumber literatur terkait Oikumene, ekumenisme, dan pemahaman Alkitab tentang kesatuan gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Oikumene tidak hanya fokus pada kesatuan doktrin, tetapi juga menekankan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang berlandaskan pada kasih dan penghormatan terhadap perbedaan. Dialog ekumenis yang konstruktif dan kerja sama lintas denominasi menjadi kunci dalam mengatasi perpecahan dan memperkuat persatuan gereja. Selain itu, implementasi Oikumene di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi, seperti STAKPN Sentani, terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan harmonisasi dan kebersamaan di antara mahasiswa dari berbagai latar belakang gereja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Oikumene dalam pemahaman Alkitab dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk mewujudkan kesatuan gereja yang harmonis dan inklusif, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perdamaian dan keharmonisan masyarakat luas.

Abstract

This research explores the emotional lives of individuals in multigenerational families in rural communities, focusing on children, adolescents and the elderly. In the context of a rural community that generally has a close-knit and interdependent family structure. This study aims to understand the emotional dynamics that occur between different generations and how this can affect individual well-being as well as relationships between family members. The research methods used included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and thematic analysis of data collected from several villages representing the socio-economic diversity of the region. The results of this study show that emotional relationships in rural multigenerational families are often characterized by closeness and reciprocity, but also face challenges such as generational conflict and economic pressures. This study provides insights into how multigenerational family dynamics affect the well-being and emotional lives of family members.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the use of learning media in mathematics subjects on the learning activity of students at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is quantitative with an inferential statistical approach. The population is all class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan in 2024 totaling 68 people and a sample of 44 people was determined, namely 20% of the total population using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 30 items. The results of data analysis show that learning media has a positive and significant effect on students' active learning at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan. Test the analysis requirements in this research using the normality test which obtained the Asymp value. signature. (2-tailed) is 0.200, meaning it is greater than 0.05 (0.200 > 0.05) so it can be concluded that the research data is normally distributed. The results of the correlation test show that there is a positive relationship between variable Apart from that, the significant relationship test obtained a value of tcount= 0.629 > ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=42)= 2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. The hypothesis was tested through a regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂=5.255+0.773X and the regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 39.5%. Testing the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable, namely 27.470 > 4.08. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that learning media has a positive and significant effect on the active learning of class XI students at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan in 2024.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the contextual learning model on interest in learning Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive inferential type. The population is all 334 students of class Data was collected using a closed questionnaire with 20 items for variable Interest in studying Christian Religious Education and Character Education for class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Influence test: a) regression equation test obtained regression equation Ŷ=18.83+0.753 X. b) regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 63.3%. c) hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fcount = 8.313 > Ftable = 1.86. Thus Ha, that is, there is a positive and significant influence of the contextual learning model on interest in learning Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year accepted and H0 rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the positive and significant relationship between the personality competence of PAK teachers and the behavior of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between the personality competence of PAK teachers and the behavior of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this study is an inferential descriptive quantitative method. The population is all Christian students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year totaling 219 people and a sample of 55 people is determined, namely 25% of the population using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected with a positive closed questionnaire of 76 items, namely 46 items for variable X and 30 items for variable Y. The results of data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the personality competence of PAK teachers and the behavior of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year as evidenced by the following data analysis: 1) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0,544 > r table (=0,05,n=55) = 0,226 is in the medium category, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) A significant relationship test obtained a thitung= 4,720 > ttabel(=0,05,dk=n-2=52)= 2,000 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. So Ha who said that there is a positive and significant relationship between the personality competence of PAK teachers and the behavior of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti Year The 2024/2025 lessons are accepted.
