Abstract

This industry consists of companies engaged in metal processing and workmanship. Companies often receive complaints from employees concerning pain or discomfort in their bodies, causing diseases such as low back pain and myalgia. The risk of accidents occurring at work is inseparable from the work done. Work-related accidents can occur due to several factors, including unsafe action. One cause of unsafe actions can be found in various unsafe work postures that workers assume. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the posture of these workers so that it can improve their safety and health. This research was conducted by identifying occupational risks workers face and examining work performed in stamping products. The production section consists of six stations: material handling, stamping, welding, hemming, painting, and packing. The work risks run by workers have been identified using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire and interview methods. As for the identification of the type of work carried out by evaluating work postures, the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method has been employed. The risk level of accidents is also used for the selection of activities to be improved to minimize the level of injury risk caused by work postures that have been assumed, and in order to improve the safety and health of the workers. Improvements made are in engineering, such as manufacturing of assistive devices, and management engineering, such as providing directions that can improve the specific work posture used. Calculations are based on simulations performed with tools conducted with suggested postures by evaluation using the REBA method. Based on the results of REBA calculations, the resulting risk is lower than the one caused by the previously assumed posture, namely medium and low.

Abstract

Currently, the reality of a lifestyle that tends to be consumptive, especially combined with the increase in daily necessities due to the speedy rate of economic inflation, makes everyone want to achieve everything practically and instantly, or they think it is easy. One of the things done is gambling. Gambling is a criminal act, i.e., risking a certain amount of money where the winning party will get the entire bet. Gambling can also be referred to as a matter of luck, as it can harm society and the nation's moral values. This crime also disturbs public order, peace, and security. In addition, the influence of gambling does not only affect adults but the impact of gambling also affects children. The Online Gambling Task Force (Satgas), formed by President Joko Widodo and the Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK), found several findings related to online gambling in Indonesia. Among them, the turnover of online gambling money reached Rp 600 trillion, and the flow of funds flowed to several countries abroad, including several ASEAN countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. Online gambling turnover will reach 600 T, and the January-March 2024 period will reach 100 T. A total of 2,370,000 residents are addicted to online gambling, 2% (800,000) of children under the age of 10 years.

Abstract

The high rate of physical disability is a trigger and spur in the development of research/research for people with disabilities to help with their daily activities, one of which is with a wheelchair. There is a sense of concern to see manual wheelchairs used daily by people with physical disabilities, especially with their abnormal hands and feet, so it becomes a problem in itself because they are quite tricky and tired of pedaling a manual wheelchair. This condition impacts their work productivity, thereby reducing their income/economy. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to manufacture electric wheelchairs belonging to two people with physical disabilities (i.e., belonging to Bagus and Huda). The ergonomics tests are carried out, including (a) Compatibility of the anthropometry of the user's body and the dimensions of the wheelchair, (b) Results of the user's postural analysis with RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) (c) Conformity of the dimensions of the wheelchair with the standard, and (d) Evaluation of the usability of the wheelchair based on observation. The results obtained for the Bagus electric wheelchair are from the anthropometric side. The popliteal height is longer than the distance between the seat and the footrest in the wheelchair. For Bagus to be more comfortable in using his wheelchair and for his legs not to be crooked (which will potentially cause more excellent musculoskeletal disorders), it is recommended that the distance between the seat and the footrest be extended. As for Huda electric wheelchairs, in general, they have been modified to adjust to the needs and conditions of Huda's body and make the design of Huda wheelchairs more ergonomic. However, the postural analysis showed that the forearm position was raised, and the hand was twisted when Huda operated the electric wheelchair controller. It is, therefore, recommended to lower the position of the controller in line with the wheelchair mount.

Abstract

Phishing is a growing threat in the realm of cybersecurity, where cybercriminals use various phishing techniques to steal sensitive information from individuals and organizations. In practice, phishing aims to obtain personal, account, and financial data by impersonating trusted parties through fake emails, websites, text messages, or social media. The term "phishing" comes from the word "fishing" which describes an attempt to lure prey with fake bait. The most common types of phishing include web phishing, email phishing, smishing phishing, scam phishing, blind phishing, whaling phishing, and angler phishing, each with different approaches and targets. Phishing causes losses to individual victims and significantly impacts the information and communication technology profession, including loss of data, reputation, security, time, cost, quality, and trust. An in-depth understanding of the types of phishing, their impacts, and their prevention and countermeasures is essential to protect yourself and your organization from phishing attacks. Therefore, awareness and education about phishing are key in building resilience to this cyber threat. As such, further research and proactive actions are needed to tackle phishing effectively in the ever-evolving digital age.

Abstract

An aluminum composite panel (ACP) is a flat panel with aluminum plates/sheets that are rigid and strong but relatively lightweight. Between the two plates, the core material content is generally made of polyethylene and polyurethane. However, the two core materials are not resistant to high temperatures/heat. They are flammable, so it is urgent to make variations of other core materials resistant to high temperatures. This study aims to provide variations for ACP core materials using polymer materials resistant to high temperatures, namely Low-Density polyethylene (LDPE) and Polyoxymethylene (POM). The method used is experimental/fabrication of ACP making. The high-temperature test was carried out in a furnace with a temperature of 3000C, 3500C, and 4000C, each with a holding time of 1 hour. The results obtained from observing the microstructure using an Optical Microscope before and after the test damaged the core material while the Aluminum metal was still intact. The mass of ACP before and after testing also changed. Overall, at the three temperatures above, the LDPE core material does not withstand this temperature because the temperature is above the melting point of the LDPE material.
