Abstract

Local chickens have great potential to be developed into superior seeds in an effort to support food security and improve the welfare of farmers, in Indonesia there are reportedly 32 local chicken species. Local chickens are more resistant to diseases, especially avian influenza (AI) or bird flu, than purebred chickens because they have a higher percentage of antiviral genes (Mx +), so it is done by utilizing available resources. including through the utilization of yard land by cultivating Golden type native chickens in RT.03, RW.03 Betungan Village, Selebar Subdistrict, Jalan A.Khalik. The method of implementing our community service which is used for the cultivation of golden type native chickens in maintaining food security is patterned after counseling and mentoring, Thus in applying the community service program, we carry out golden native chicken cultivation activities, The purpose of this activity is to provide insight, knowledge and skills in the use of more modern technology in the form of utilizing land to be used as a rearing cage, for breeding, raising chickens, and selling chickens of all ages. In addition to fulfilling animal protein needs for the household scale, it can also increase residents' income by selling. The sale can be through various social media such as WhatApp Group, Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok so that it is hoped that it will revive the economy of RT.03, RW.03 Jalan A.Khalik, Betungan Village, Selebar District and it is hoped that residents around RT3 can follow the golden chicken cultivation.

Abstract

Melinjo plant or Gnetum gnemon is a shrub plant that grows well in tropical regions such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. This plant has a sturdy stem and large leaves and seeds that are shaped like beans. In Indonesia, each region has its own name for this melinjo plant, namely belinjo, melinjo, baguk, bagor, trangkil, and tangkil sako. Marketing means all efforts or business activities in delivering goods or services of producers to consumers, where these activities are aimed at satisfying needs and desires in a certain way called exchange.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSM0Es) are productive economic enterprises that stand alone, which are carried out by individuals or business entities that are not subsidiaries or not branch companies that are owned, controlled or become part either directly or indirectly of medium or large businesses that are meet the small business criteria. One of the regional potentials that is often used as a business opportunity is regional food. Industry is a central point to help and prosper the economy society to always exist and survive with all existing conditions. Because the industry is a planned effort to realize marketing strategies and marketing processes so that this industry continues to run and exist in its marketing. Likewise with the tempe industry in the Mampang Prapatan area, in its operational activities the obstacle faced by tempe industry players is access to marketing, therefore a marketing strategy is needed or efforts to market and introduce a product or service to the community, using a plan and mature tactics, that way, the number of sales can increase. In marketing, a brand or brand is needed that functions to build an image of the product or place of business. By using offline and online promotion methods. The purpose of this Community Service activity is expected to be tempe industry players able to increase sales in order to achieve economic prosperity in the village. Abstract. Abstract

Warsito Furniture Business in Jayakarta Village, Bengkulu Tengah is one of the MSME industries. Starting from himself, Mr. Warsito made a furniture business called Warsito Furniture Business. This business was founded in 1998 with makeshift equipment. With high interest, this business began to develop and was eyed by the Social Welfare Service of Bengkulu Province. The Independent Family Joint Business Group (KUBE) "WARSITO was officially formed on January 1, 2001 and is located in Hamlet I Jayakarta Village, Talang Empat District, North Bengkulu Regency. In increasing the capacity and capability and productivity of the carpentry business, business owners are actively conducting job training with makeshift equipment to produce a quality product. Wood is the main element that determines the quality of a product of furniture or other wood crafts. Furniture was originally a craft industry that produced more artistic aspects. Products with good quality will provide satisfaction value for consumers or customers so that complaints from customer complaints after buying and using the products they buy can be avoided.To achieve the quality or quality as expected, the company must be able to know and apply how to choose the type of material that is good to manage and the factors that can affect the quality or quality of the product during the production process. Abstract

Currently, students or the community are required to be able to innovate in an increasingly modern era, one of which is the community service team of Dehasen University Bengkulu collaborating with State Elementary School 75 Bengkulu City in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. This community service is aimed at students of State Elementary School 75 Bengkulu City which aims to instill entrepreneurial insights, as well as foster an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. Having an entrepreneurial spirit is an important point for students in the future. In addition, from this activity, it is hoped that students can help the family economy and can also take advantage of their spare time to do positive activities by way of entrepreneurship and minimize juvenile delinquency. This community service socialization uses the method of explaining to students the importance of entrepreneurial knowledge and the importance of entrepreneurship and conducting questions and answers to students about the entrepreneurial material that has been delivered.

Abstract

Household financial planning training in Suka Nanti Village, Kedurang Sub-district, South Bengkulu Regency, is part of an effort to improve the financial literacy and welfare of rural communities. This study aims to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the training program in improving household financial knowledge, skills and behavior. The research methods used included structured surveys, in-depth interviews and participatory observation to collect data before and after the training. The results showed a significant increase in people's knowledge and understanding of financial planning concepts after the training. In addition, the training also succeeded in changing the community's financial behavior, such as budgeting, saving regularly, and managing debt more wisely. The active involvement of the community in the implementation of the training was also a key factor in the success of this program. In conclusion, the household financial planning training in Suka Nanti Village had a positive impact on improving financial literacy and community welfare. The program not only provides individual benefits, but also strengthens social attachment and cohesion at the village level. Continued efforts in addressing emerging challenges are needed to ensure the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of socialization of procedures for improving the Human Resources (HR) of the Nakau Village community, Bengkulu Tengah Regency. Nakau Village is one of the rural areas that still faces challenges in improving the quality of human resources. The research method used was a mixture of quantitative and qualitative approaches. A survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the community of Nakau Village to measure the level of participation, understanding, and perceptions of the socialization of procedures for improving human resources. In addition, in-depth interviews were also conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the factors influencing the success of this socialization. The results show that the level of community participation in the socialization of HRD procedures is quite high, but their understanding of the importance of HRD still needs to be improved. Support from the local government and related community institutions is also still a key factor that needs to be strengthened in the implementation of this socialization. The implication of this research is the need to develop a more effective and directed socialization strategy, as well as the active role of various related parties to improve the quality of human resources of the Nakau Village community and its surrounding areas.

Abstract

This activity aims to describe regional expansion policies, factors that support the implementation of regional expansion policies, analyze the form of policy implementation in the political, economic and socio-cultural fields, and analyze the implementation of regional expansion policies in supporting national integration in Bengkulu City. Factors that support the implementation of regional expansion policies are the existence of potential natural resources, investment, transportation and communication infrastructure, openness to outsiders and public support (community). The form of policy implementation in the political field includes the development of various political structures and infrastructure, transparency and accountability of government, increasing the role and active participation of the community in the decision-making process, freedom of politics and organization, upholding the rule of law and human rights, and realizing political stability. The economic sector includes accelerating the development of economic structures and infrastructure, managing the potential of natural resources and increasing employment, per capita income, Gross Regional Domestic Product and Regional Original Income. In the socio-cultural field, this includes fostering harmony among citizens, reducing socio-cultural gaps, improving the quality of education, regional structuring capabilities and empowering community groups, developing local cultural values and utilizing local wisdom in solving various problems. The implementation of regional expansion policies supports national integration in the city of Bengkulu, because; the realization of the stability of community life, the ease of obtaining public services, the increasing quality of public services, and the realization of integration in community life.

Abstract

This workshop discussed the important role of improving the Human Development Index (HDI) in addressing various population-related issues. HDI is key in measuring a country's progress in terms of social welfare, health, and education. In the context of globalization and economic development, improving HDI has become a top priority for many countries. It is important to ensure that every individual has fair and equal access to educational opportunities and health services. This workshop will outline the challenges faced in improving HDI, including limited access to quality education, economic disparities, and gender inequality. One of the main focuses of the workshop is how to encourage active community participation in efforts to improve HDI. Collaboration between the government, private sector, and non-governmental organizations is considered essential in achieving this goal. Population issues such as rapid population growth, uncontrolled urbanization, and demographic change were highlighted in this workshop. It is important to develop holistic and sustainable strategies to address these issues. Education is recognized as a major factor in improving HDI. This workshop will highlight innovative efforts in improving access and quality of education, especially in remote and marginalized areas. Not only education, but also access to services Quality health is a key element in efforts to improve HDI. This workshop will discuss strategies to improve accessibility and sustainability of basic health services. Women's empowerment is considered an important step in improving a country's HDI. This workshop will highlight the role of women in social and economic development and efforts to reduce gender disparities. In the context of sustainable development, this workshop will discuss the importance of integrating social, economic and environmental aspects in efforts to improve HDI. This includes aspects such as environmental sustainability and adaptation to climate change. Through discussions and exchange of experiences, the workshop aims to generate concrete recommendations and practical solutions to effectively improve HDI and address population issues. It is hoped that the outcomes of this workshop can guide public policies and development practices in various countries.
