Abstract

Entering the Industrial 4.0 era, Indonesia must immediately adjust its position so that it can become a production base and logistics center by taking advantage of opportunities to expand market share, while at the same time being able to integrate itself into the global supply chain. One of the strategies to integrate this is to make Halal Product Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) the subject of the national strategy in an effort to encourage the development of national geopolitical and geoeconomic potential. As the main subject of this strategy, problems for MSME actors are still a fundamental problem in Indonesia. The ineffectiveness of capital distributed by the government and the complexity of the bureaucratic system resulted in slow growth of MSMEs, resulting in a gap between the behavior of MSMEs and the government. The government in this case seems serious about encouraging domestic industry players to improve the quality of halal products so they can compete in the industrial era 4.0. In an effort to stabilize the economy, the government began to distribute budgets to industry players, especially MSMEs in Indonesia. Deputy for Financing of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemkop UKM) Yuana Styawati said the number of micro businesses until 2018 was 58.91 million units, 59,260 small businesses and 4,987 large businesses. In addition, it was also recorded that 3.79 million MSMEs had utilized digital technology or e-commerce businesses (Maizal Walfajri, 2018). Of this amount, the government distributes a budget for small and medium enterprises in the amount of Rp. 1.2 trillion, of which this amount will be distributed using two schemes, namely distribution with conventional schemes and sharia schemes as well as assistance or facilitation efforts for the MSME industry in Halal Products.The existence of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as creative businesses in Bengkulu is quite large, but there are still many people who do not understand the importance of Intellectual Property Rights for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The problem we face from our socialization is how to raise awareness in the community that Intellectual Property Rights are very important for a creative business. The purpose of our socialization is to inform micro, small and medium entrepreneurs in Timur Indah 5 RT 32 RW 02 that Intellectual Property Rights play a very important role in protecting intellectual property rights owned by a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises actor. This community service method uses the socialization method by approaching the community and providing knowledge about the importance of Intellectual Property Rights for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises

Abstract

Emping melinjo crackers have a classy aroma and a delicious, crunchy taste. The process of processing melinjo fruit into emping melinjo crackers can be done in various ways. The first process is that old melinjo fruit are fried without oil with hot sand or rendang in a cauldron, some are also boiled. After this process, the hard rind of rnelinjo fruit is discarded. then the melinjo fruit is pounded or ground to form thin pieces. data collection is carried out by making direct observations on matters relating to the problem under study and referring to books, the internet and other sources that have to do with the preparation of the research The melinjo cracker makers usually carry out the process of forming thin chips on this melinjo traditionally which is stacked with stones on the foundation in stages. This study applied a processing system for emping melinjo crackers with a milling system. This grinding aims to facilitate the process of forming melinjo fruit into thin pieces. The expected results of this process indicate that the production capability of this tool is roughly estimated at around 15 melinjo pieces per minute.

Abstract

UMKM Roti Al Batsit is a small business engaged in the food industry which is located in the city of Bengkulu. As one of the MSMEs, the challenge that must be faced is how to increase product sales and introduce the Roti Al Batsit brand to the public. Therefore, a community service program with the title "Utilization of Instagram social media in Marketing of UMKM Bread Al Batsit Bengkulu City". The use of Instagram social media is done so that consumers can easily recognize and remember the Roti Al Batsit brand and give a positive image to the brand. During the implementation of the community service program, an evaluation of the impact of the program was carried out on the UMKM Roti Al Batsit. The evaluation is carried out by comparing product sales before and after the program is implemented. The evaluation results show that implementing the use of Instagram social media in proper marketing has succeeded in increasing the number of product sales in the community.

Abstract

Gelas plastik bekas biasanya jadi barang yang biasanya dibuang karena tidak berguna lagi. Gelas plastik bekas adalah bahan limbah anorganik yang sulit untuk terurai. Oleh karena itu, banyak sekali ditemukan gelas plastik bekas dimana-mana terutama dilingkungan rumah, dipinggir siring perumahan pondok indah merapi tebeng. Oleh karena itu, dengan permasalahan tersebut supaya menjadikan gelas plastik bekas tersebut bisa didaur ulang menjadi sesuatu yang berguna dan menjadi barang yang bermanfaat. Tujuan dari daur ulang gelas plastik bekas minuman ini, supaya lingkungan menjadi bersih dan juga bisa menjadi barang yang berguna. Gelas plastik bekas bisa dijadikan kerajinan salah satunya gantungan hijab.

Abstract

During the implementation of the community service program, an evaluation of the impact of the program was carried out on the UMKM Roti Al Batsit. The evaluation is carried out by comparing product sales before and after the program is implemented. The evaluation results show that the implementation of attractive packaging recognition in proper marketing has succeeded in increasing the number of product sales in the community

Abstract

Currently, students or the community are required to be able to innovate in an increasingly modern era, one of which is the community service team of Dehasen University Bengkulu collaborating with State Elementary School 75 Bengkulu City in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. This community service is aimed at students of State Elementary School 75 Bengkulu City which aims to instill entrepreneurial insights, as well as foster an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. Having an entrepreneurial spirit is an important point for students in the future. In addition, from this activity, it is hoped that students can help the family economy and can also take advantage of their spare time to do positive activities by way of entrepreneurship and minimize juvenile delinquency. This community service socialization uses the method of explaining to students the importance of entrepreneurial knowledge and the importance of entrepreneurship and conducting questions and answers to students about the entrepreneurial material that has been delivered.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan ilmu pengetahuan kepada mahasiswa universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sebagai pelatihan tes TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language). Selain itu, memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang Tes TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language). Diharapkan dari hasil pelatihan ini dapat memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan baru tentang tes TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language). kepada mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, dan diskusi. Metode ceramah digunakan dalam proses penyampaian materi pelatihan/sosialiasi. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) mahasiswa mengetahui apa itu tes TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language). 2) mahasiswa memahami jenis soal-soal yang diujikan dalam TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language). 3) Mahasiswa memahami tips dan trik mengerjakan soal test TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language), dan 4) Mahasiswa mampu mengerjakan soal-soal yang diujikan dalam TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language). Abstract

TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) training is a necessity for students at IAIN Bengkulu, especially for final year students who will take the TOEFL test as one of the requirements for graduation or when entering the world of work. One of them at IAIN Bengkulu who is used as a partner is the IAIN English Club Students. The main problem faced by partners is the lack of understanding regarding TOEFL so that the TOEFL scores of students in the IAIN English Club Student environment are still not in line with the expected targets. Therefore, community service activities carried out by the academic community in the English Literature Study Program need to be carried out as a form of practicing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The aim of this activity is to increase TOEFL scores for students in the IAIN environment. The service method used during training activities is by using the lecture method, question and answer, and practice working on TOEFL questions according to the material prepared by the presenter. The results of community service activities show that there is an increase in student TOEFL scores in the IAIN English Club Student environment.

Abstract

Socialization of Integrated Village Economic Development is a strategic effort to improve the welfare of the people of Talang Kemang Village, Semidang Alas Maras District, Seluma Regency. This study aims to assess the impact and effectiveness of socialization in strengthening community participation in integrated village economic development. The research method used was a survey and interviews with various related parties, such as farmers, breeders, small business actors, as well as representatives of the village and sub-district governments.The results show that socialization plays an important role in improving community understanding of the concept and benefits of integrated village economic development. Community participation in local economic activities increased significantly after the socialization. In addition, cooperation between the government, the community, and the private sector also improved in supporting the implementation of integrated village economic development programs.However, the research also identified several obstacles faced in the socialization process, such as the lack of access to information and the lack of active involvement of some community groups. Therefore, it is recommended that the socialization program be further strengthened through various inclusive and participatory communication methods, and involve more related parties to ensure the success of integrated village economic development in Talang Kemang Village.In conclusion, the socialization of integrated village economic development in Talang Kemang Village made a positive contribution in increasing community understanding and participation in efforts to improve local economic welfare. However, further efforts are still needed to overcome the various obstacles faced so that this program can run more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

The empowerment of productive economic enterprises for the poor in Kecamatan Ratu Agung, Bengkulu City, is the main focus of efforts to improve social and economic welfare in the region. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the economic empowerment program as well as the factors that influence its success. The research method used combines quantitative and qualitative approaches, collecting data through structured surveys and in-depth interviews with local stakeholders. The results show that the majority of poor communities in Kecamatan Ratu Agung have the potential to engage in productive economic enterprises, but there are constraints such as limited capital, market access, and skills that need to be overcome. Other factors affecting the effectiveness of economic empowerment include a lack of support from the local government, complex regulations, and cumbersome bureaucracy. The discussion underscores the need for comprehensive and integrated economic empowerment programs, involving collaboration between local governments, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and academia. Special attention to the role of women in economic empowerment and regular monitoring and evaluation of implemented programs are also needed. In conclusion, empowering productive economic enterprises for the poor in Kecamatan Ratu Agung, Bengkulu City, requires a holistic and integrated approach to overcome the obstacles faced. Thus, it is expected to improve welfare and reduce poverty levels in the area.
