Abstract

In this era of globalization, business growth in Indonesia has increased significantly. This is indicated by the large number of businesses in Indonesia. Companies need to create an appropriate performance measurement system to determine the characteristics and quality of performance and identify actions that can be taken in an effort to increase employee work productivity. Therefore, to improve employee performance, companies can apply elements of Total Quality Management (TQM). The method used in this research is quantitative by distributing questionnaires. The research sampling technique uses non- probability sampling with a saturated sampling method. The sample used in this research was 37 respondents. The results of this research show that based on the results of the research that has been conducted it is known that customer focus has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, continuous improvement has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance and education and training has a significant positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Globalization has encouraged the growth of foreign investment in Indonesia, including the establishment of foreign trade company representative offices (KP3A) such as ABC in 2022. This study aims to analyze the treatment of Income Tax withholding and collection, self-paid Income Tax, VAT/Sales Tax on Luxury Goods, and Local Taxes at the ABC representative office. KP3A, as a form of foreign company representative office (KPPA), is mandated only to manage the interests of its parent company abroad and is prohibited from conducting business or generating income in Indonesia, which affects its obligation to file Annual Tax Returns. The findings confirm that KP3A ABC fulfills its tax obligations in accordance with Indonesian regulations, yet the rules concerning Annual SPT reporting remain uncertain and require clearer guidance to ensure legal certainty for taxpayers.

Abstract

Starting in 2023, Jakarta will face air pollution causing 12,000 deaths. As a result, companies focus on creating sustainability reports to attract stakeholder attention. However, as of December 31 2021, only 154 companies had reported sustainability reports. This research aims to analyze the influence of stakeholders, including media, government ownership, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and employee gender diversity, on the disclosure of sustainability reports in companies listed on SRIKEHATI, LQ45, JII (Jakarta Islamic Index), and BEI Index. This research uses multiple regression analysis of company sustainability report data and stakeholder characteristics from annual reports and company documents. The research results show that the media has a significant influence on the extent of disclosure of sustainability reports, while government ownership, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and employee gender diversity do not have a significant influence on the extent of disclosure of company sustainability reports.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the intrinsic value of stocks of pharmaceutical and healthcare research sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2024 using the Dividend Discounted Model (DDM) method. DDM is a stock valuation method that focuses on the present value of future dividends expected to be received by shareholders. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method with a sample of six companies selected by purposive sampling based on the criteria of paying dividends and having a positive Return on Equity (ROE). Financial statement and stock data were collected from official websites. In applying DDM, this research calculates the dividend growth rate, estimates future dividends, expected returns, and the intrinsic value of the stocks. The results show that three stocks are undervalued and three others are overvalued, with MERK stock being the most recommended to buy as it has the highest difference between its intrinsic value and market price. This research is useful as a consideration for appropriate stock investment in the pharmaceutical and healthcare research sub-sector on the IDX.

Abstract

Smartphone have become a primary necessity for many people. Samsung, as a market leader, faces the challenge of maintaining brand image and influencing price perception to affect consumer purchasing decisions. This research analyse the influence of brand image and price perception on Samsung smartphone purchase decisions. This research employs a quantitative method with a non-probability sampling technique using judgmental sampling. Data was collected through an online questionnaire administered to 95 Samsung smartphone users. The collected data was then analysed using SPSS versions 25. The results of the study show that brand image has a positive and significant influence on Samsung smartphone purchase decisions. Price perception also has a positive and significant influence on Samsung smartphone purchase decisions. Based on the result, Samsung is recommenced to implement continuous innovation to improve product quality and remain competitive with other brands. For future research, researchers can consider incorporating additional variables such as promotions or other relevant factors to obtain more optimal results.
