Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based badminton court reservation information system for Fuji Arena to support digital transformation in operational management. The existing manual system, which relies on WhatsApp and handwritten records, poses risks of double bookings, transaction data loss, and limited information regarding court availability. The development method employed is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with data collected through literature reviews, interviews, and observations. The system was designed using UML, including Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Use Case Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The design results indicate that the proposed system is capable of integrating reservation management, real-time court availability checking, digital payments through a payment gateway, and automated financial reporting. This study is limited to the analysis and design stages; therefore, system implementation and testing are recommended for future research.

Abstract

Manual management of employee attendance and leave at a Tax Consultant Office in Sunter leads to data inaccuracy, reporting delays, and obstacles in managerial decision-making. This study aims to design a website-based attendance and leave application information system to replace inefficient conventional procedures. The method employed is a qualitative approach using structured interviews with HRD as the key informant, followed by system design using Data Flow Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Data Structures, Sequence Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams. The results indicate that the system design successfully accommodates three user levels: Employee, HRD, and Owner; it reduces attendance verification duration from two working days to mere minutes and provides real-time updates on remaining leave balances. It is recommended that future developments integrate biometric authentication and payroll modules to strengthen overall personnel administration automation.

Abstract

Digital transformation in MSME salons is one solution to improve operational efficiency and customer service quality. Common problems in salons, such as manual reservation processes, unintegrated administrative records, and suboptimal inventory management, can lead to service delays and decreased customer satisfaction (Fandhilah et al., 2021). Furthermore, limited access to information and the lack of computerized systems also hinder salon business development, particularly at the MSME level. This research aims to design and implement a website-based system at Salon Titi to facilitate digital reservation and inventory management. This system was developed using information system technology that integrates customer data, service schedules, and product stock into a single, integrated platform. This system allows for online and real-time reservations, and inventory management becomes more accurate and efficient. This study adopted the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as the system development approach. The proposed SDLC methodology consists of three main stages: requirements analysis, system design, and system implementation. Through these stages, the developed system is expected to improve the operational efficiency of Salon Titi, minimize data recording errors, and provide customers with a more convenient reservation process. Furthermore, the implementation of digital transformation through a website-based information system is expected to offer an innovative solution for salon business operations while enhancing the overall customer service experience.

Abstract

PT Indo Aqua Sukses is a company that produces tilapia fish seed and currently relies on manual record-keeping through physical bookkeeping for its sales transactions. The use of this manual system creates several operational problems, including a high risk of order recording errors (human error), difficulties in tracking previous transaction histories, and delays in preparing real-time sales reports for management. This study aims to design a web-based sales performance monitoring information system called Sellora to integrate customer data and sales transaction management. The development method employed is the Waterfall method, which includes a literature review, problem identification through observation and interviews, requirements analysis, and system design. The system was structurally modeled using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and a Concept Data Diagram. The Sellora system facilitates role-based access and integrated coordination between the Accounting entity, responsible for managing customer data and entering sales transactions, and the Head Manager, responsible for monitoring automated sales summary reports. The design results indicate that the Sellora system can minimize the risk of recording errors, accelerate the delivery of accurate and real-time sales performance reports, and provide an effective centralized information foundation to support managerial decision-making.

Abstract

Technological advancements encourage businesses to improve operational efficiency and service quality. Arta Laundry still relies on a manual administrative system using paper-based documents. This condition creates various challenges, including the risk of losing transaction data, damage to physical receipts, difficulties in monitoring laundry status, and inaccuracies in cost calculations. This study aims to develop a web-based laundry management information system for Arta Laundry as a solution to these problems by implementing more automated, transparent, and efficient processes. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and a review of written references. The system was designed using several types of diagrams, including Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The result of this study is a web-based laundry information system design equipped with several features, including digital order recording, automated cost calculation, digital invoice generation, real-time laundry status tracking, and financial report compilation. The implementation of this system design is expected to minimize operational errors (human error), improve administrative process efficiency, and facilitate customers in obtaining information transparently.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of digital communication disruptions outside working hours on the personal lives of Generation Z workers in North Jakarta. Continuous connectivity through instant messaging applications has often been regarded as a form of flexibility. In reality, however, it can become an invisible mechanism of control that encroaches upon employees’ rest time. A qualitative approach using narrative inquiry was employed to explore the experiences of eleven workers from diverse industry backgrounds. Data were collected through in-depth questioning and subsequently analyzed using thematic mapping. The findings reveal that work-related messages received during personal time trigger cognitive conflict, manifested in excessive anxiety and psychological exhaustion. To preserve their private space, these young Generation Z employees employ various self-protection strategies, ranging from separating mobile devices to deliberately delaying their responses to messages. The study also demonstrates that pressure to respond promptly to work-related instructions disrupts concentration on primary tasks and impairs their cognitive capacity on the following day. The findings underscore the need for companies to move away from evaluating performance based solely on the speed of responding to messages outside working hours and instead implement policies that protect employees’ autonomy over their rest time, thereby sustaining essential productivity.
