Abstract

This research entitled Economic Empowerment through Income Generating of e-Warong KUBE with the aims and purpose of this research were to describe and analyse 1) Economic empowerment of e-warong KUBE, 2) Various factors that influence business implementation, 3) Identify several effort due to overcome barrier on e-Warong KUBE’s implementation.and practical implication of social work intervention on e-warong KUBE development. The research method employed a qualitative approached which relied largely on interpretative and critical approaches to social work science. The data gathering used a documenting real events, recording what informant said (with words, gestures, and tone), observing specific behaviors, studying written documents, and participant observation. In this research, the number of informant were 6 (six) actors related to e-warong KUBE. Research finding showed that the economic empowerment through KUBE still in lower level caused by barrier both in form of internal and external factor, lack of entrepreneurial spirit of actor who managed e-warong KUBE, group dynamic still weak and unfamiliar to digital transaction. The recommendation were to conduct socialization of digital transaction in form of business training with involved social advisor, business advisor, Board of Social Affairs West Java Province as well as Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and Indonesian of Logistic Board (Bulog).

Abstract

This research was conducted at Car Dealer PT. Sejahtera Buana Trada Puri Indah branch with case study Suzuki Ertiga which at the time of research is selling well. In this study, researchers wanted to test whether there is a significant relationship between Product Quality with Purchase Decision. The purpose of this study knowing whether it is true that a good quality product from a car can make car sales increase, knowing whether a good promotion can increase sales and knowing if the product quality and promotion done together can increase sales. The research method use is quantitative. The sample of this research are all buyers of Suzuki Ertiga car that buy to Suzuki Sejahtera Buana Trada car dealership during the third quartet of 2013, which is between July until September 2012. Is there also a significant relationship between Promotion on Purchase Decision. As well as a significant relationship between Product Quality and Promotion together with Purchase Decision.

Abstract

Increasing population in a country, especially in developing countries, has an impact on various aspects, one of them is social impact. The emergence of criminality, acts of violence, sexual harassment is phenomenon which is part of a development, including violence against women who experienced a significant increase. This condition raises high fears so that one way is equipped with self-defense (martial arts). This study aims to comprehensively review women empowerment through the approach of canvas business model. The research method used is qualitative. Data analysis techniques using the steps of reduction, data presentation, conclusion / verification. Testing the validity of data is done through credibility, perseverance, triangulation, feedback / feedback, member check. The result of this research is the existence of Canvas business model on the empowerment of women, this model is made in an effort to develop the existence of WSDK community in the future, in this research also known constraints in the empowerment of women through the approach of canvas business model and describe efforts to anticipate these constraints.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility CSR) in the perspective of academic, business, and government (government) cooperation by PT. Telkom, Indonesia Tbk in District Kiaracondong Bandung. The research used qualitative descriptive method. The informants were chosen purposively which included representatives of companies, recipient communities, and local government apparatus. Data collection techniques were conducted through a series of in-depth interviews, field observations and documentary studies. The study found that CSR implementation through the empowerment of women in the process involves elements of academia and local government, so that the implementation shows the success and impact on the benefits felt by the community as reflected in the empowerment index. Based on the results of the study recommended that the company establish cooperation also with the district level government.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is not only to compare the Capital Asset Price Model, Arbitration PriceTheory, Three Factor Price Model, Three Factor Price Model, and Five Factor Price Model to studythe Capital Asset Price Model, Price Arbitration Price Theory, Three Factor Price Model, FourFactors Pricing Model and Five Factors Pricing Model for excess returns and for determining thebest asset pricing model in terms of the ability to explain estimates of excess returns. This researchincludes explanatory research (explanatory research), namely looking at the relationship betweenresearch variables and testing hypotheses that have been formulated previously. This study examinesthe effect of variables in the asset pricing model and compares the asset pricing models in explainingexcess returns. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out the best model that canbe used in assessing the asset pricing model is the five Price Model Factors, this is evidenced by thevalue of R2 or R Square of 89.4%, the value is greater than the value of R2 or R Square CapitalAsset Pricing Model, Arbitration Price Theory, Three Price Factor Models, and Four Price FactorModels, which were 34.7%, 55.2%, 77.2% and 79% respectively

Abstract

The development of hospitals in health industry as economic institutions and the establishment ofmany new hospitals increase the number of nurses needed while the number of nurses producedcannot keep pace with the increasing demand. In hospital services, nurse is the most frequentlyinteracted person with patients and are fully responsible for patient care, including in terms of patientsafety. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of motivation, training andwork environment on the performance of nurses in patient safety in the Public Hospital. Expectedoutput from this study can be used as a reference to determine the policy for nurse management atthe hospital. This is a correlational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach and descriptivemethod of verification. The research was conducted in a Public Hospital in Jakarta. The researchsample are 90 nurses working in inpatient wards. The hypothesis of this study were analyzed withpath analysis methods. The results of this study showed a significant positive effect betweenmotivation and performance (20.7%), training and performance (21.8%), working environment andperformance (20.7%), and the simultaneous influence from motivation, training, and workingenvironment on the performance (63.2% ).

Abstract

To manage hotel and restaurant taxes, it is absolutely necessary to have sufficient supervision andto supervise the implementation of hotel and restaurant taxes carried out by the Regional RevenueService. The purpose of this study, namely to determine the implementation of supervision of hoteland restaurant tax collection, things that hinder and efforts that must be done to overcome obstaclesto the implementation of supervision of hotel and restaurant tax collection in increasing the originalrevenue of Sumedang Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method. With eightinformants of research, namely the Head of the Regional Revenue Service, Head of Planning andOperations Control, Head of Control and Supervision Section, Executive Staff of OperationalControl Planning, hotel and restaurant management. The results of the study show that controllingof hotel tax collection and restaurant tax to increase Sumedang Regency's original revenue has beeneffective but not yet maximally this can be seen from still encountered several obstacles, includingthe competency of tax collector officers, budget constraints and low awareness of taxpayers.However, it is expected that in the future there will be improvements in line with efforts to be carriedout by the Regional Revenue Service of Sumedang Regency.

Abstract

Cooperatives are one of the institution that can carry out economic empowerment for thecommunity. Cooperative business is directly related to the improve the business and welfare ofmembers, so that with good supervision will have a high beneficial impact for members. Cooperativedevelopment policy should give priority to quality of cooperatives, to produces quality cooperativesrequired good supervision. The subject of the result are saving loan cooperatives in West Java-Indonesia . The type of research used in this study is descriptive research methods, namely researchthat uses primary and secondary data which is then processed and analyzed .Implementation of GoodCorporate Governance encourages cooperative management in conducting savings and loanactivities effectively and efficiently by taking into account the principles of cooperatives andprudential principles so that the cooperative assessment is transparent, accountable and responsive.Principles of Good Corporate Governance required by cooperatives to achieve businesssustainability. Research Finding: Management of cooperatives can be done effectively and with theimplementation of Good Corporate Governance the performance of cooperatives can be increasedand improve service to the member. Cooperative development policy should give priority to qualityof cooperatives, to produce quality cooperatives required good supervision.

Abstract

Investment is an important element of the growth and the development of economic. Foreign DirectInvestment (FDI) is one of the investment sources as an alternative to the Domestic Investment thatmight be difficult to be fulfilled by a country itself. The increased numbers of FDI inflows toASEAN countries turns out were not evenly distributed to each country. This research is importantto determine the development and determinants of FDI inflows in six ASEAN countries in the periodof 1998-2016. From the panel data regression analysis, it can be concluded that the variable levelsof corruption negatively affect the FDI inflows, while the level of economic freedom and incomeper capita has a positive effect on FDI inflows in six ASEAN countries in 1998-2016.

Abstract

Social organizations or institutions cannot walk without money. The financial aspect is indeed very important and requires that the organization conduct fundraising practices so that institutional funding can be fulfilled, therefore the role of social volunteers in fundraising is also one that must be considered. Social volunteer fundraisers are one of several parts of other volunteers. Fundraisers are tasked with funding to assist the sustainability of social service organizations as well as existing programs. The purpose of this study is to illustrate how volunteers in carrying out their roles include their rights and obligations, identify what is potential and problems in voluntary practice, see how the foundation provides efforts to develop the role of volunteers themselves, also what volunteer implications in practice and also tourists volunteer for social welfare science. The research method used was a qualitative approach with the location of the research study at the PPPA Daqu institute in the city of Bandung. The research informants were volunteers who were fundraisers at Mall outlets and also volunteer coordinators as secondary informants. Data collection uses participant observation, in-depth interviews, and secondary data tracking. Data collection used in-depth interviews, participant observation, and secondary data tracking, the results of the study were analyzed qualitatively using coding and category analysis and data validity through data triangulation, member checking, and rich and thick description. The results of the research obtained are about how the wages volunteers receive and also about fundraising schools that are intended for volunteers in improving their skills and potential.
