Abstract

Nandung tradition, which originated in Rengat, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau, is a type of local wisdom that demands purpose and function, as well as value in character development as capital in local culture. The culture that is passed down from generation to generation can be used to extract local knowledge (local knowledge) and local wisdom (local wisdom) in overcoming various obstacles in the formation of character formation. The method utilized is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, with the goal of describing the Nandung tradition in the Rengat community of Indragiri Hulu Riau as a character determinant. Because it contains the value of religious education, the value of moral education, and the value of social education, the Nandung tradition is full of values in moulding character, according to the conclusions of this studythe importance of social and cultural education, as well as psychological and religious principles The Nandung tradition's ideals of local wisdom are important in moulding the Rengat Indragiri Hulu community's character in conformity with Islamic law and Indragiri Hulu Malay culture.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of various Arabic vocabulary for hotel names in Surabaya. The method used is descriptive-qualitative method. The data was obtained from the android-based hospitality application, namely Booking.com and Traveloka.com. The data is collected, classified, analyzed, then concluded based on linguistic studies, namely linguistic characters, the use of sharia names, and the combination of Arabic with other languages. Based on linguistic characteristics, the names of hotels in Surabaya use singular nouns with a percentage of 89%, while the remaining 5 percent are in the form of verbs and 6% are in the form of Idhofah and plural. The names of hotels that use the word "sharia" in Surabaya have seven patterns, generally include the general name of the hotel then the type of accommodation and the addition of the word "sharia". Almost all hotels in Surabaya that use Arabic consist of one word and besides that, several hotels have their names combined with various languages, namely Indonesian, Javanese, and English

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini mendeskripsikan tentang potret perempuan shalihah yang dikisahkan dalam Al-Qur’an agar menjadi teladan bagi perempuan dizaman sekarang ditengah peradaban yang mulai krisis akan perempuan shalihah. Secara khusus Al-Qur'an menggambarkan perempuan shalihah yang mampu menjaga keimanannya di tengah kemusyrikan dalam Q.S At-Tahrim ayat 11-12. Terlebih lagi pada ayat itu adalah tanda-tanda atau simbol-simbol yang menarik yang menunjukkan potret perempuan yang taat kepada Allah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang mana mendeskripsikan potret perempuan shalihah yang ada dalam QS. At-Tahrim ayat 11-12. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah perempuan shalihah yang dikisahkan dalam QS. At-Tahrim ayat 11-12. Hasil dari penelitian ini, pertama menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an dapat diteliti menggunakan pendekatan semiotik, kedua terdapat beberapa perspektif perempuan shalihah dalam Al-Qur'an, ketiga menggambarkat potret perempuan shalihah dalam QS. AT-Tahrim ayat 11-12. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa didalam Al-Qur'an perempuan mempunyai ruang untuk diakui, sehingga tidak dipandang sebelah mata.

Abstract

Urgensi terhadap penggunaan bahasa Arab bagi peradaban masa kini,menyebabkan masyarakat non Arab beranggapan bahwa mempelajari bahasaArab menjadi suatu kewajiban yang tidak bisa dihindarkan khususnya untukkaum muslim. Mengesampingkan fungsi lingkungan yang menerapkanpenggunaan bahasa Arab sebagai kebanggaan dan aset suatu badan institusipendidikan terkait, namun juga berfungsi sebagai motivasi dan sumber belajarpeserta didik. Peneliti menyusun artikel ini dengan tujuan untuk membuktikanbahwa lingkungan bahasa yang terbentuk secara baik dapat dijadikan sebagaistrategi dan penentu dalam keterampilan belajar bahasa Arab. Metode penelitianyang dipergunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif disusun denganmenggunakan studi pustaka, dimana observasi melalui media online denganmenjadikan sumber literasi berupa buku dan jurnal sangat diperlukan gunamemperoleh informasi-informasi valid dan relevan terkait permasalahan utamayang akan dijabarkan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa mengembangkan bahanajar bahasa Arab bagi peserta didik berlandaskan pada lingkungan dapatmemberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan pelajar dalammenulis, membava, berbicara, maupun menyimak bahasa Arab, walaupun padafaktanya setiap manusia dianugerahi oleh perangkat akuisisi natural LAD(Language Acquisition Device) yang memudahkan manusia untuk berbahasa,kemahiran tersebut juga ditentukan oleh kondisi lingkungan sekitar setiap pelajar.

Abstract

Preventive efforts in realizing a harmonious life in society, especially among children with an attitude of diversity, can apply one strategy that can be tried, namely through the use of digital literacy through social media dissemination to Pasuruan city children who are members of the children's forum platform membership. Quantitative research is used in this type of study, survey research is the method used. Through the survey method, this research was conducted in an effort to reveal the attitudes and understanding of Pasuruan city's children's forum towards the values of diversity through digital literacy (social media dissemination). The presentation of the research results describes the profile of the Pasuruan City Children's Forum, in particular the behavior and social interactions of the Pasuruan city children's forum itself, and a portrait of the values diversity in structure of social strata the community. Based on data reduction, the research results are classified into two findings. First, the behavior and social interaction of the children's forum on the use of digital literacy and second, the portrait of the values of the diversity of the children's forum in Pasuruan. The behavior and interaction of children's forums in the city of Pasuruan shows that they are digitally literate and actively use social media, social media has advantages and practical values in its use in instilling the values of diversity. The existence of social media hasdirectedchildren's behavior and social interactions to online behavior. Children's forums are depicted in their behavior and interactions through social media and there are some information content on the values of diversity that are instilled by the community. Among them are reading, searching or research, responding and then following up, and finally spreading it.

Abstract

Java is a culture that has the power of existence in midst of the arrival ofvarious new cultures and religions. The arrival of a new religion in Java did noteliminate Javanese culture and traditions. Islam have a dialectic with Javanese culture so that it forms a distinctive and unique variant of Islam. The slametan ritual is one of the dialectical forms between the Javanese tradition and the elements of Islamic values. This study will examine the characteristics of Javanese Islam, namely the slametan ritual from an anthropological perspective. The data sources used by the researchers were obtained from several theoretical literature books and related research journals that studied Javanese rituals and Islam. The data collection method in this study is a literature study, meaning that the researcher collects some data through several text data sources which are then processed descriptively. This research will answer the question: how is Javanese Islam andthe slametan ritual an anthropological perspective?

Abstract

Ilmu nahwu mengalami kemajuan kajian dan analisis yang sangat pesat dan signifikan. Hal ini terbukti dengan banyaknya madrasah (aliran) dalam kajian ilmu nahwu. Pada masa perkembangan awal, ilmu nahwu lebih banyak didominasi oleh dua madrasah yang sangat popular, yaitu madrasah bashroh sebagai cikal bakal lahirnya ilmu nahwu, dan disusul oleh madrasah kufah. Selanjutnya bermunculan madrasah yang lainnya seperti madrasah al Bagdad, madrasah Mesir, madrasah Andalusia dan lain-lainnya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan kategorisasi yang kemudian diinterpretasikan secara deskriptif-analisis. Kritik dan gugatan Ibnu Madha terhadap nahwu meliputi: menghilangkan konsep al ‘amil, membuang illah ke dua dan ke tiga, menghilangkan al Qiyas, dan menghilangkan Tamarin.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the lifestyle changes of teenagers inTluwe Village,Tuban Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic from the perspectiveof cultural sociology. This research was conducted at a location in Tluwe Village,Tuban Regency. This study uses qualitative methods to solve the problems thatoccur. The data collection technique used by the researcher is from the results ofin-depth interviews and observations, as well as documentation in the form of thetext. This research was conducted in 2021. The research subjects weredetermined by sampling. The data analysis technique uses various stages, namely,data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and then the data isanalyzed from a cultural perspective according to Clifford Geertz. The resultsshowed that many teenagers experienced changes due to the pandemic. Thechanges that occurred began with the existence of a policy from the governmentthat required all its people to implement and comply with health protocols. Fromthis policy, it creates habits in teenagers in Tluwe Village, thereby causingchanges in the behavior of teenagers.

Abstract

Code-Switching and Code-Mixing often occur in conversations of twoor more languages. This triggered researchers to examine the conversationscontained in WhatsApp Groups. The purpose of this study was to determine thecode switching and code mixing that occurred between Indonesian, Javanese andNgapak Banyumasan languages. The research method used is a qualitativemethod. The author breaks down the conversation in WAG based on its smallestelements. The result of this research is the existence of code switching andinternal and external code mixing in the conversation. This means that the codeswitching and code mixing that occurred was between Indonesian to Javanese,ordinary Javanese to Ngapak, Indonesian to Ngapak, ordinary Javanese toNgapak or Indonesian to English.
