Abstract

This research aimed to determine the correlation between andragogy learning as well as learning skill and student learning outcome. The present research applied a quantitative research approach with multiple correlational analysis method where the data collection was carried out through questionnaire technique in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The research population involved students from the Guidance and Counseling Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Cenderawasih University batch 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 as many as 101 students. The determination of the sample was performed by total sampling technique in which the researcher used the entire sample with a total of 101 students. The research findings showed a correlation between andragogy learning and learning outcome with a Pearson correlation value of 0.502, a correlation between learning skill and learning outcome with a Pearson correlation value of 0.445 and a correlation between andragogy learning and learning skills and learning outcomes where the correlation coefficient was indicated by an R value of 0.573. Meanwhile, the simultaneous contribution of andragogy learning as well as learning skill and learning outcome was 32.8% (0.328) while the other 67.2% were determined by other variables not examined in this research. The conclusion of this research was that there was a fairly strong correlation between andragogy learning as well as learning skill and student learning outcome.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of personality competence and academic adjustment on student learning outcome. For the research method, the present research applied quantitative research. The research population involved 101 students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Cenderawasih University batch 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. The results of the study found the influence of personality competence and academic adjustment on student learning outcome where the results of hypothesis testing simultaneously obtained an F-count value of 23.478, F-table 3.09 and a significance value (Sig.) .000 <0.05. Thus, it was concluded that H0 was rejected and H3 was accepted, which meant that the variables of personality competence (X1) and academic adjustment (X2) had a simultaneous influence on student learning outcome (Y). In addition, based on the output value of the summary model, the R Square value was 0.324, which meant that the influence of the variables X1 and X2 simultaneously on Y was 32.4% while the 67.6% was determined by other variables that were not examined in this research

Abstract

This study aims to describe the differences in teacher work motivation in terms of gender in North Sumatra. This research is a comparative study on educators in Sumatra. The sample in this study amounted to 98 teachers (male = 30.6%; female = 69.4%), the teachers who became the research sample were aged 25-58 years with a length of service as educators 1-5 years = 42.8%; 6-10 Years = 8.2%; 11-15 Years = 15.3%; 16-20 Years = 17.3%; > 20 years = 16.3. Sampling using incidental sampling technique (non-probability sampling). Data were collected through two questionnaires, including the work motivation instrument developed from the Vroom (1964) theory which consisted of 12 items. The analytical technique used was the Independent Sample t-Test with the help of JASP Version 0.14.1.0. The results show that there are differences in the work motivation of male and female teachers as evidenced by the difference in the mean (1.966), male teachers have higher work motivation than female teachers. However, there is no significant difference in the work motivation of male and female teachers as evidenced by the p-value> 0.05, namely sig = 0.061.

Abstract

The present study aimed: 1) to describe the common problems of female students in grade XI, 2) to describe the common problems of male students in grade XI, 3) to describe the common problems of female and male students in grade XI. The research approach used by the researcher was descriptive type. This study identified common problems experienced by each grade XI student at SMA Negeri 2 Skanto, Keerom Jayapura Regency, Papua. The research sample was a saturated sample (all members of the population) totaling 135 students. Based on research findings on the common problems of female students, there were 55 people (92%) experiencing educational and teaching problems. In the common problem of male students, most or 25 people (58%) experienced personal problems. In the common problems of female and male students, most or 55 people (92%) experienced problems in education and teaching and 25 people (58%) experienced personal problems. It was concluded that a guidance and counseling program for female and male or grade XI Senior High School students is very highly required.

Abstract

This study aims to validate by measuring the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of the Relational Aggression (RA) scale. The study used a survey method and was collected from December 2019 to January 2020 and involved 241 participants in Indonesia (14 to 18 years). In this study the Rasch model was used to measure the psychometric properties of 17 RA items, with the help of WINSTEPS 3.73. The results of this study indicate that RA fulfills the psychometric measurement aspect by providing evidence as a valid and reliable instrument, with a very good item reliability value (.98) and sufficient person reliability (.75), and a Cronbach alpha value (KR-20) of (.81), meaning that the quality of the items is very good for revealing relational aggression. Furthermore, the results are reinforced by the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) value of the residual of 45.2%, meaning that the items in RA are representative for measuring relational aggression. The implications of this RA research can be accepted by researchers for collecting data or information related to the problem of relational aggression in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui  penggunaan metode bermain peran, untuk mengetahui hasil  belajar dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode bermain peran terhadap hasil belajar. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif (deskriptif research),diantaranya menggunakan kuesioner, observasi, dokumentasi, dan Interview. Penelitian ini sampelnya berjumlah 24 siswa. Kemudian untuk membuktikan kebenaran hipotesis, penulis menganalisa data dengan rumus chi kuadrat. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data dengan menggunakan rumus chi kuadrat tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa harga chi kuadrat hitung (x2 hit) sebesar 6,12. Harga chi kuadrat hitung (x2 hit) adalah lebih besar dari harga chi kuadrat tabel (x2 tab) pada taraf signifikan 5% dan lebih kecil pada taraf signifikan 1% atau 5,991<6,12<9,210. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan metode bermain peran terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengidentifikasi permasalahan beberapa anak putus sekolah, 2) mengidentifikasi faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi anak putus sekolah, 3) mengidentifikasi dampak negatif dari permasalahan tersebut. anak putus sekolah di lingkungan sosial, 4) mengidentifikasi upaya penanganan masalah anak putus sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Menurut data pemerintah tentang anak putus sekolah, secara kualitatif terdapat 6 orang di lingkungan sosial di Perumahan Buper Waena Kota Jayapura. Selain itu, data lisan merupakan data dari hasil wawancara dengan warga sekitar (orang tua dari anak putus sekolah sebanyak 6 orang dan ketua Rukun Tetangga sebanyak 1 orang di perumahan Buper Waena) yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap permasalahan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, permasalahan yang dialami anak meliputi kurangnya minat belajar, sekolah dianggap kurang menarik, faktor ekonomi, faktor keluarga, faktor sarana prasarana sekolah dan faktor lingkungan. Lingkungan sosial setiap anak putus sekolah menjadi media bagi mereka. Karena usia mereka yang masih muda, putus sekolah mungkin berdampak negatif pada lingkungan sosial mereka. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya seperti membangun pondok belajar di lingkungan mereka. Dengan demikian, mereka tidak hanya bergaul dalam lingkungan sosialnya tetapi juga dapat belajar

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of information services through brochure media to improve students' career understanding. It applied a quantitative approach with pre-experimental research method. Then, the researcher used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research population was students of class XII IPA1 & XII IPA2 of SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura City, totaling 60 students from 2 classes. The research sample was the total sample because the number was less than 100. Based on the previous statistical data obtained from the pre-test and post-test data, there was a significant increase between the initial pre-test and the final post-test. In the pre-test data, it obtained an average of 74.79 which was included in the medium category. Then, after giving treatment of information services through brochure media, it obtained post-test data with an average of 84.48 which was included in the high category. Thus, the increase in students' career understanding from pre-test to post-test increased by 9.35. Based on the previous statistical test data, it obtained a (z) value of 6.684. Then, Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) showed 0.000 which meant significant. This indicated that information service using brochure media was effective in increasing students' career understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran PPKn   Di Kelas XII MIPA.6  SMAN 3  Solok masih kurang bervariasi dan di dominasi oleh guru, sehingga siswa pasif dan kurang tertarik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran PPKn. Dalam penerapan metode diskusi masih kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam berargumentasi, kurangnya keterlibatan dalam aktifitas pembelajaran diindikasi sebagai rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan efektifitas pembelajaran PPKn dengan metode debat  di kelas XII MIPA.6  SMAN 3  Solok.  Hasil analisis data penelitian terjadinya peningkatan sebesar rata-rata skor motivasi 23,5% dan peningkatan hasil belajar baik aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Efektifitas pembelajaran aspek pengetahuan hasil analisis hasil rata-rata  sebesar 0,36 dengan kategori sedang, analisis ketuntasan belajar  0,89 kategori Tinggi sedangkan efektifitas pembelajaran aspek keterampilan hasil analisis rata-rata  0,33 dengan kategori sedang dan analisis ketuntasan belajar 0,86 kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika masih rendah, khususnya pada kelas I. Menurut pengamatan peneliti, siswa menerima begitu saja penjelasan dari ceramah guru, siswa cenderung hanya diberi informasi tentang sesuatu, asal menjawab saat diberi pertanyaan, dan siswa kurang mampu menghubungkan materi yang dijelaskan dengan kenyataan pada kehidupan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian  siswa kelas I SDN 21 Batu Kadunduang Sanggir berjumlah 25 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan model analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan penerapan tipe think pair share di kelas I SDN 21 Batu Kadunduang, berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh  hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 74 dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 82. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan penerapan tipe think pair share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa
