Abstract

The aim of this study is to provide recommendations and insights related to the integrity of the legal profession, which must be carried out independently, freely, and responsibly in accordance with professional ethical guidelines. The enforcement of law in Indonesia remains a topic of significant interest for discussion. The law enforcement process, which has yet to achieve optimal results, continues to be a subject of debate in both formal and informal forums. The disparity between expectations and reality in the implementation of law in Indonesia raises doubts about the effectiveness of law enforcement, as the law has not yet achieved its intended goals. One of the suspected causes of this issue is the presence of non-legal factors contributing to discrimination, inconsistency, and uncertainty in law enforcement. This situation has the potential to damage the harmonious relationship between society and the law, especially with law enforcement authorities. The approach used in this research is both a legal positivist and conceptual approach. The conclusion of this study suggests that an advocate must maintain their integrity as part of the legal profession and always act in accordance with the professional code of ethics. However, the full implementation of the advocate’s code of ethics still faces challenges, due to the lack of a clear and comprehensive legal framework governing advocacy organizations under the law.

Abstract

The role of the younger generation as agents of change is crucial in addressing identity search and potential extremism among adolescents. Therefore, strengthening moderate attitudes among students is essential for them to understand moderation, especially in the modern era. This study aims to answer two questions: 1) how to strengthen students' moderate attitudes through Islamic religious education, and 2) how this is implemented in schools. This qualitative research employs a phenomenological approach at Mambaus Sholihin Junior High School in Tuban, utilizing data collection methods such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that strengthening moderate attitudes is achieved through comprehensive religious education, leadership training, social activities, teacher role modeling, wise use of technology, and parental involvement. Religious moderation also encompasses the development of attitudes and behaviors that reflect balanced and inclusive Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The preparation of this article is intended to review the survey on the decisions of each resource person based on the statements that we have compiled by providing a link to each question, between self-value and its relation to self-development, the aim is to find out that all results based on the survey influence each other and have their respective roles. This also includes how to understand the meaning of self-value itself and explain its influence on the success of individuals in developing themselves. Based on the results of further research data, we found something unique called a correlation between the two that influence and support each other, we conclude that self-value will be proportional to the magnitude of the characteristics of the individual concerned, by now showing that the more valuable a person is, the more it will become a magnetic field itself, people like this tend to have high integrity because of the large value of self that they have. They are called pioneers

Abstract

Several studies have reported evidence that SARSCoV-2 not only attacks the respiratory system but can also attack other organs including the neurological system. Initial data from the Darmayu Ponorogo General Hospital in the Kemuning Isolation Room for the period July 2020 to July 2021 found Covid-19 patients with complications of neurological diseases such as infarct stroke, bleeding stroke, vertigo and epilepsy. Therefore, based on the description above, the author is interested in conducting research on the distribution of data on Covid-19 inpatients with complications of neurological disease in the yellow isolation room in the period July 2020-July 2021 at Darmayu Ponorogo General Hospital. This study uses an observational description of the design using secondary data. This study only wanted to see the distribution of data on Covid-19 inpatients with complications of neurological diseases. The population and sample in this study were all Covid-19 inpatients with complications of neurological disease in the Kemuning Isolation Room in the period July 2020-July 2021 at Darmayu Ponorogo General Hospital as many as 53 respondents. The data analysis method used in this study is univariate analysis, this is done with the aim of seeing a picture of the frequency distribution of Tables and Graphs regarding the distribution of data on Covid-19 inpatients with complications of neurological disease in the Kemuning Isolation Room in the period July 2020-July 2021 in RSU Darmayu Ponorogo. And from the results of the analysis, it can be seen that most of the Covid-19 inpatients in the Isolation Room of Darmayu Ponorogo General Hospital experienced complications of neurological disease in the form of infarction stroke, namely as many as 27 (50.9%) people, as many as 15 (28.3%) people experiencing complications. neurological disease in the form of bleeding stroke, as many as 10 (18.9%) people experienced complications of neurological disease in the form of vertigo and as many as 1 (1.9%) people experienced complications of neurological disease in the form of epilepsy

Abstract

The rapid development of machine translation tools has revolutionized the way language barriers are overcome. However, the accuracy of these tools, particularly when translating complex sentence structures, remains a subject of interest. This study, compares the translation accuracy of two widely used tools, Google Translate and Microsoft Translator, focusing specifically on English complex sentences. The analysis evaluates their performance based on linguistic accuracy, syntactic structure preservation, and semantic clarity. Findings from this study, aim to provide insights into the strengths and limitations of these tools particularly on the translation accuracy for academic and professional translation purposes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and the tendency of self-injury behavior in adolescents. This study uses correlational quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study used the incidental sampling method, subjects as many as 180 adolescents were taken from the entire population. Adolescents with domicile in the city of Surabaya became subjects in the study. The self-esteem scale and the tendency of self-injury behavior are two instruments that are owned in this study. Data analysis was carried out using product moment correlation analysis test with the help of SPSS version 20 for Windows. The correlation coefficient result is -0.298, showing if there is a negative relationship between the level of the research coefficient with a significant level of p = 0.000 < (p = 0.05). This shows that the higher the self-esteem, the lower the tendency of self-injury behavior, and vice versa, the lower the self-esteem, the higher the tendency of self-injury behavior.

Abstract

The Akuila Raya Wayame Road section in Ambon City, which is in Ambon Bay, Maluku Province, with a road length of 820 m, a road width of 12.6 m, the condition of the road on this section was several types of damage encountered, such as holes, surface roughness, loose grain, sagging, peeling of the surface layer, wear and tear. This results in complex problems and many losses, especially for road users. The purpose of this writing is to analyze and determine road damage on the Jalan Akuila Raya Wayame section, Ambon City and plan the cost budget for the Jalan Akuila Raya Wayame section, Ambon City. To determine the value of road conditions, the efforts that can be made and the Draft Budget (RAB) to improve road conditions are carried out using the Binamarga method to assess road conditions. The research results show that the percentage of LHR on road sections is that motorbikes (Group 1) dominate daily traffic, namely 2,073 vehicles or 82.68%, followed by private cars (Group 3), namely 390 vehicles or 15.55%. each point is 39.02%.

Abstract

The availability of clean water is a very important basic need for the community, especially in rural areas such as Amdasa Village, Wertamrian District, Southeast Maluku Regency. However, limited infrastructure and inadequate water distribution systems are the main obstacles in meeting the clean water needs of the local community. The provision of clean and sustainable drinking water is a basic need for the community, especially in remote areas such as Amdasa Village, Wertamrian District, Southeast Maluku Regency. This study aims to compile a Detail Engineering Design (DED) for a drinking water supply system that is in accordance with the geographical conditions and needs of the local community. The research methods include field surveys, water needs analysis, and design of distribution systems and water treatment installations. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for planning the development of efficient and sustainable drinking water infrastructure in Amdasa Village.

Abstract

Limited infrastructure, hydrogeological conditions, and minimal water resources that can be processed are the main factors that affect the availability of clean water in this area. This study aims to conduct a Design Investigation Survey (SID) to explore the potential of water resources, analyze the community's drinking water needs, and design a water supply system that is appropriate to local conditions. The methods used in this study include field surveys, hydrogeological analysis, and interviews with local communities to understand water consumption patterns and the obstacles faced in obtaining clean water. The data obtained were then analyzed to determine potential water sources, supply capacity, and efficient and sustainable distribution systems. The results of the study show that the people of Amdasa Village still depend on natural water sources such as shallow wells and rainwater, which often experience a decrease in quantity and quality, especially during the dry season. From the analysis carried out, several alternative water sources were found that can be utilized by optimizing the supply system, including the use of drilled wells and gravity-based distribution systems. In addition, good water supply system planning needs to consider technical, social, and economic aspects so that it can be implemented effectively by the community.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is what language styles are used in online news media in Kompas. This study aims to describe what language styles are used in online news media in Kompas. The method used is a qualitative method where the application of this qualitative method is descriptive, meaning that the data produced is in the form of words in the form of quotations. The data in this study is in the form of language exposure, namely words, phrases. The source of this research is news published in the Kompas Online mass media editions, June and July, August and September 2024. The data collection technique used in the study is the document review technique or commonly called a documentation study. This research was analyzed using a Sociolinguistic approach. It can be concluded that the language style contained in the Kompas Online News Media, which consists of twenty-two quotations found by researchers which are divided into several parts, namely, Synecdoche Language Style, Epithet Language Style, Metaphor Language Style, Simile Language Style, Ellipsis Language Style, Irony Language Style, Figurative Language Style, Personification Language Style, Hyperbole Language Style. Therefore, it is suggested that further researchers also conduct in-depth research from the perspective of literary studies or others.
