Abstract

Marriage is a crucial phase in human life that requires preparation not only administratively but also mentally, spiritually, and socially. A lack of understanding regarding marital rights and obligations, communication, and conflict management often becomes a key factor leading to family conflicts and divorce, particularly among young couples. This article discusses the implementation of premarital education based on Islamic values in Laweyan Village, Sumberasih District, Probolinggo Regency, carried out through the NGOPRAH program (an acronym for Ngopi dan Ngobrol bareng tentang Pra Nikah or “Coffee and Talk about Premarital Issues”). This Community Service (PkM) activity was conducted on August 15, 2025, involving 29 participants consisting of youth, prospective brides and grooms, parents, and community leaders. The main speaker was from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) of Probolinggo Regency, delivering material on marriage readiness, child protection, and the prevention of early marriage. The study applied a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, with data collected through participatory observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation. The results indicated a significant increase in participants’ understanding of Islamic values in marriage, including spousal rights and obligations, effective communication, and readiness to build harmonious families (sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah). Evaluation revealed that 85% of participants gained new insights into the importance of premarital preparation. Therefore, the NGOPRAH program can serve as an alternative model of premarital education based on Islamic values, with potential for replication in other communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi media pembelajaran berbasis digital Quizizz dalam meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap mahasiswa yang pernah menggunakan Quizizz dalam perkuliahan, dengan jumlah minimal 30 responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket skala Likert sebanyak 20 butir pernyataan yang disebarkan melalui Google Form. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung rata-rata skor, persentase, dan kategori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar indikator berada pada kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi, khususnya pada item positif seperti ketertarikan, kesenangan, serta tantangan dalam memperoleh skor yang lebih baik. Skor tertinggi ditunjukkan pada item “Saya merasa tertantang untuk memperoleh skor yang lebih baik di Quizizz” dengan persentase 93,40% (sangat tinggi). Sementara itu, skor rendah justru muncul pada pernyataan negatif karena mayoritas responden tidak setuju, sehingga memperkuat bahwa Quizizz dianggap bermanfaat. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat minat belajar mahasiswa berada pada kategori Tinggi dengan skor total 69,20%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Quizizz mampu menghadirkan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan menantang, sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan aktif, dan minat belajar mahasiswa. Quizizz direkomendasikan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif dan efektif di perguruan tinggi, meskipun penelitian lebih lanjut dengan jumlah sampel yang lebih luas dan metode tambahan masih diperlukan untuk memperkaya temuan.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has had a substantial impact on the accounting profession, particularly within Public Accounting Firms. These technologies are capable of automating various administrative tasks and enhancing the speed and accuracy of data processing, which in turn shifts the accountant’s focus from routine activities to analysis and the provision of added value for clients. This study aims to describe the changing role of accountants in the context of AI and RPA implementation through a qualitative literature review approach. Data were collected from various reputable journals discussing the application of AI/RPA in auditing and accounting information systems. The findings indicate that AI and RPA offer advantages such as efficiency, improved audit quality, and opportunities for accountants to develop as strategic advisors. However, challenges including initial costs, human resource resistance, ethical concerns, and data security issues require serious attention. In conclusion, the successful adoption of AI and RPA in accounting practices requires accountants’ competency readiness, management support, and clear regulations so that technological transformation can enhance professionalism and the quality of audit services.

Abstract

The reliability of electric power transmission is a crucial aspect of power system operation, as any disturbance can significantly impact the continuity of energy supply. Therefore, particularly in transmission networks, a protection system is required that not only responds to and minimizes disturbances promptly but is also capable of recording fault data for further analysis. This study presents a fault analysis of the transmission network based on data obtained from the Digital Fault Recorder (DFR) of distance relay to determine the fault characteristics and pinpoint the fault location, thereby accelerating fault handling. The analysis of fault characteristics is conducted using the fault signature method based on DFR of distance relay recordings, with fault location data compared to the results from the Travelling Wave System (TWS) to ensure accuracy. The results of this study successfully identify the type of fault, the involved phases, and the fault location with improved accuracy.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the strengthening of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at Pondok Pesantren Nurussathi’ Darul Falah Banjarnegara through the study of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) using the Amtsilati method. The background of this study lies in the central role of kitab kuning as an authoritative source of Islamic knowledge in pesantren, while many students still face difficulties in understanding unvowelled Arabic texts due to limited mastery of Arabic grammar (nahwu and sharaf). The Amtsilati method emerges as a solution to facilitate students in learning kitab kuning in a more practical and applicative way.This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with field research design. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed comprehensively to describe the implementation process, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the impacts of the Amtsilati method.The findings reveal that the implementation of PAI learning through kitab kuning with the Amtsilati method is conducted systematically and structurally. The method has proven effective in helping students understand grammatical rules and improve their ability to read classical texts. Furthermore, the use of Amtsilati positively impacts students’ academic performance, learning independence, as well as their spiritual and moral development. Supporting factors include the active role of teachers, students’ motivation, and a well-structured schedule, while inhibiting factors mainly come from differences in students’ background knowledge and limited facilities.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang berdampak pada kualitas sumber daya manusia di Indonesia. Desa Tunggak Cerme, Kabupaten Probolinggo, masih menghadapi kasus stunting yang berkaitan dengan rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang gizi seimbang dan pola asuh anak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan kader Posyandu melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan terhadap pengetahuan kader dan masyarakat, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor rata-rata pre-test dan post-test sebesar 40%. Kader juga menjadi lebih terampil dalam melakukan pengukuran tumbuh kembang anak, sementara masyarakat, khususnya ibu balita, memperoleh pemahaman lebih baik mengenai pentingnya gizi seimbang. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pemberdayaan Posyandu dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam pencegahan stunting di tingkat desa.

Abstract

Live streaming has become a dominant digital marketing strategy in Indonesia's ecommerce ecosystem. This study analyzes the use of persuasive language by live streaming hosts in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis methods, this study examines the persuasive language techniques used by popular hosts on the TikTok Shop platform. The results show that the effectiveness of hosts' persuasive language greatly depends on a combination of word choice, tone of voice, and the ability to build emotional interactions with the audience. Theoretically, this study enriches the applied linguistics literature in the context of digital business. Practically, these findings serve as strategic guidelines for ecommerce businesses in optimizing their marketing strategies.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in the digital era encourages companies to develop innovative marketing communication strategies. One of the key factors that determine the success of digital marketing is the creativity in promotional language. Creative promotional language not only serves to attract consumer attention but also builds emotional closeness, increases engagement, and strengthens brand image amidst increasingly competitive markets. The use of persuasive, interactive, and audience-relevant language styles creates differentiation and influences purchasing decisions. Therefore, the creativity of promotional language plays a strategic role in enhancing the effectiveness of digital ecommerce content while supporting business sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

This article examines the execution of Big Mary, a circus elephant hanged in 1916, through Michel Foucault’s framework of biopolitics. Referencing the notion of “to make live and to let die,” it highlights how non-human bodies are subjected to modern power mechanisms that govern life for the sake of social and economic stability. Big Mary emerges not only as a victim of violence but also as a symbolic figure of how power disciplines deviation through elimination. In the Anthropocene context, her death reflects a deeper ecological and moral crisis, calling for a radical redefinition of justice across species. This paper proposes a new ethical paradigm that transcends anthropocentrism, advocating for an interspecies ecological politics grounded in empathy and shared dignity.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based school data management system at Al-Husna Islamic Kindergarten to address the problems of semi-manual recording that often results in data duplication, recording errors, and delays in information delivery. The development method used is the Waterfall method with stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Research data was obtained through observation and interviews with the school to identify system requirements. The result of this study is a web-based school management information system that facilitates the management of student data, teacher data, lesson schedules, school agendas, and recording teacher assignments. Testing using the blackbox method shows that all functions run according to user needs. With this system, the data management process at Al-Husna Islamic Kindergarten becomes more effective, efficient, and supports school operational activities.
