Abstract

The development of information technology requires local television stations to have well-managed and effective IT infrastructure. BMSTV, as a local television station, faces challenges in adapting to digital broadcasting and competition from digital media platforms. This study aims to analyze the condition of information technology infrastructure at BMSTV and to formulate strategic development recommendations using SWOT and Value Chain approaches. The research method employed is a qualitative descriptive approach using secondary data obtained from organizational documents and literature studies. The results indicate that BMSTV has strengths in basic technology utilization and local content, but faces weaknesses in system integration and IT human resource competencies. Media digitalization presents significant opportunities to improve service quality, while digital media competition poses major threats. This study recommends strengthening IT infrastructure, enhancing human resource competencies, and developing integrated information systems.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to optimize Tahsin learning and improve students' Error Awareness in reading the Qur'an at SMP IT An Najma, which was found to be low in the initial evaluation. Low Error Awareness, characterized by repeated technical errors and dependence on teacher corrections, hinders students' independent learning. The proposed intervention action is the integration of Talaqqi (as a model for standard reading) with Peer-Assessment (as a mechanism for active reflection). This study adopts a spiral Plan-Act-Observe-Reflect Action Research design, carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were seventh-grade students at SMP IT An Najma. Data were collected using reading pre-tests and post-tests (quantitative data), as well as observations and in-depth interviews (qualitative data). Quantitative data analysis focused on the increase in the percentage of learning mastery per cycle, while qualitative data used thematic analysis to identify patterns of improvement in students' self-awareness when assessing their peers. The research results show that the integration of this method is effective. There was a significant improvement in students' reading quality, indicated by the increase in the learning completeness percentage from the initial condition (65%) to 90% at the end of Cycle II. Qualitatively, Peer-Assessment proved to force students to actively analyze the rules of tajwid and articulation points, which in turn enhanced their Error Awareness. Students no longer just receive corrections but are able to identify and correct mistakes in themselves and their peers. It is concluded that the Talaqqi and Peer-Assessment approaches can serve as optimal strategies to enhance students' independence and awareness in Tahsin Al-Qur’an. This study recommends the use of a structured Peer-Assessment rubric as an integral component of the Tahsin curriculum.

educational demands that may lead to decreased academic performance and mental health. This study aimed to examine the effects of self-concept and emotion regulation on academic burnout among university students, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative correlational method with a sample of 134 students selected using a convenience sampling technique. Data were collected using Likert-scale instruments for all three variables, which demonstrated good content validity (Aiken’s V > 0.80) and high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.90). Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that, simultaneously, self-concept and emotion regulation had a significant effect on academic burnout, with F(2, 131) = 47.98, p < 0.001, and accounted for 42.3% of the variance (R² = 0.423). Partially, self-concept was found to be the strongest predictor in reducing academic burnout (β = 0.50, p < 0.001) compared to emotion regulation (β = 0.16, p = 0.008). These findings highlight the importance of strengthening students’ internal resources, particularly positive perceptions of self-competence, as a primary strategy for minimizing the risk of burnout syndrome in higher education settings.

Abstract

Arabic Language EnvironmentArabic language education in Indonesia plays a very important role, especially In Islamic educational institutions such as pesantren. Riyadlul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Mojokerto, which focuses primarily on teaching the Qur'an through memorization, has implemented a policy of using Arabic in the daily lives of its students. The uniqueness of this boarding school lies in its ability to integrate Quranic education with an Arabic-language environment. The study employs a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. Data were gathered through multiple methods such as direct observation, detailed interviews, and document analysis involving the caregivers, teachers, mudabbiroh, and female students as the main sources of information. Meanwhile, The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings presented by the researcher are as follows: (1) The Arabic-language environment at the Riyadhul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School in Mojokerto has proven to be highly significant in improving the speaking skills of female students. This environment is created through mandatory Arabic language policies, daily vocabulary practice (mufrodat), a language monitoring system (jasus), and the active role of teachers and mudabbiroh as mentors who encourage the use of Arabic in daily life. (2) Supporting factors identified in this study include consistent policies from the boarding school, teacher involvement, and adequate facilities. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include the students' lack of Arabic language foundation, the use of local dialects in daily communication, and fear of speaking due to concerns about making mistakes. This study concludes that a well-structured Arabic-language environment can enhance female students' speaking ability, as evidenced by their continued use of Arabic in communication even after graduating from the boarding school.

Abstract

Kajian ini mengarah untuk menguraikan perihal kebutuhan dan pengelolaan harta dalam maqasid syariah., Harta merupakan sebagian kebutuhan pokok bagi manusia, harta bisa menjadi tolak ukur kualitas hidup manusia pada masa sekarang atau masa depan. Tentunya harta bagi pemiliknya harus mempunyai kemaslahatan atau manfaat tersendiri bagi dirinya maupun bagi orang lain. Serta tidak membawa kerusakan atau mafsadat yang merugikan manusia itu sendiri. Maslahah adalah tujuan syariah (maqashid syariah) dan menjadi intinya inti dari syariah itu sendiri. Sifatnya umum dan universal. Pengelolaan harta bagi manusia dimaksudkan bahwa merealisasikan harta dan mendistribusikannya sesuai dengan rencana. Pengelolaan harta dilakukan dengan pendistribusian yang tidak menimbulkan dampak pada terganggunya aktifitas ekonomi. Distribusi harta dan tidak menimbun dapat menjauhkan manusia dari sifat tercela diantaranya kikir,sombongdan individualis. Pengelolaan hartaterdapat 5 langkah yang dilakukan yaitu (1) wealth creation accumulation atau penciptaan harta (2) wealth compsumption atau konsumsi harta (3) wealth purification atau penyucian harta (4) wealth distribution atau distribusi harta dan (5) wealth protection atau perlindungan harta

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to address learning problems characterized by low student achievement, limited participation, and the presence of misconceptions in understanding the subject matter. The problems were identified through a clear gap between the ideal learning conditions and the actual classroom situation, supported by initial data such as students’ scores below the minimum mastery criteria (KKM), low engagement during discussions, and recurring conceptual errors. The study is grounded in constructivist, behaviorist, and cooperative learning theories, which guided the design of improvement strategies, including active learning methods, group discussions, visual media, and interactive activities. The research was conducted in two cycles following the spiral model consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, observation sheets, field notes, interviews, and visual documentation. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were employed. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ participation and learning outcomes. The average score increased from 62 (pre-action) to 74 in Cycle I and 85 in Cycle II. Mastery learning improved from 40% to 90%, while student participation rose from 35% to 80%. These findings indicate that the implemented actions were effective in enhancing both the learning process and outcomes. The improvements align with theoretical principles related to social interaction, reinforcement, and knowledge construction through active learning. The study recommends maintaining the use of active learning strategies and suggests further research in different subjects or classroom contexts to enrich the findings.

Abstract

Islamic education in institutions such as TKIT Qurrota A'yun plays an irreplaceable role in shaping a deep understanding and appreciation of Islamic values in the early years of the younger generation. Since its establishment in 2007, TKIT Qurrota A'yun has become the heart that breathes sincere religious values into its students. However, amid various challenges that arise in the process of teaching Islam, these challenges have had a significant impact on children's understanding and acceptance of religion, indicating the need for a comprehensive approach rooted in religious psychology to provide deep and sustainable insights. In a theoretical framework, religious psychology emerges as a crucial foundation that helps understand how individuals acquire and apply religious understanding in their daily lives. Religious psychology theories such as Kohlberg's moral development theory, Piaget's cognitive theory, and Vygotsky's social theory provide in-depth perspectives on how children understand religious doctrines and their impact on Islamic religious education. Recent studies, such as Smith's (2019) study on religious psychology in the context of religious education, highlight the importance of a deep understanding of how religious understanding influences children's development process. The purpose of this article is to analyze in depth the influence of religious understanding and doctrine on education.

Abstract

Literature serves as a medium for reflection and social criticism of societal realities. Based on this function, this study examines social criticism in the short story "Dari Masa Ke Masa" by A.A. Navis using a sociology of literature approach. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with text analysis techniques on quotations that represent the characters' social attitudes and behaviors. The results show that the relationship between the older and younger generations is depicted unequally through authoritarian, opportunistic attitudes, monopoly of knowledge, claims to achievement, and intergenerational skepticism, which are reinforced by informal control behavior, organizational co-optation, internal conflict, group disintegration, and symbolic submission. These findings confirm a paternalistic relationship pattern that positions youth as objects of legitimacy and reproduces intergenerational power structures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze attitudes toward formal and informal language variation used by the Medan Perjuangan community from a sociolinguistic perspective. Language is viewed as a social phenomenon influenced by social factors such as age, social status, cultural background, and communicative situations. The research data consist of dialogues representing social interactions within the Medan community and are analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The analysis focuses on speakers’ and listeners’ social identities, social settings of speech events, social evaluations of utterances, and levels of language variation. The findings indicate that the Medan dialect and informal language varieties dominate interactions in informal contexts, while more neutral and functional varieties are used in public service contexts. These language variations reflect speakers’ social identities, social relationships, and local cultural norms. Therefore, language variation functions not only as a means of communication but also as a marker of social and cultural identity within the Medan Perjuangan community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze complementary religious social support (RSS) patterns as a collaborative strategy between families and Islamic boarding schools in strengthening the resilience and religious character of adolescents. This topic is important because it highlights the psychosocial vulnerability of adolescents from dysfunctional families (broken homes) who require consistent environmental intervention. This qualitative research with a case study design was conducted at the Darojatul Ashfad Islamic Boarding School, involving caregivers, parents, and students as subjects. The results showed that this collaboration formed a functioning mesosystem, characterized by its complementary nature. The Islamic boarding school strategically filled the deficit in family spiritual support (RSS) through regular meetings and a checklist of religious practices, ensuring continuity of rules. The effectiveness of this mesosystem is proven to strengthen the resilience of students through a shift in coping mechanisms, from reactive to Tawakkal. The attitude of Tawakkal serves as a psychological anchor that provides inner peace, breaks the chain of trauma, and ultimately leads to character internalization. This is evidenced by changes in the students' behavior, which has become automatic (such as the initiative to perform the dawn prayer without being told) and the emergence of concern for the condition of their families. It is concluded that complementary collaboration is an effective intervention model for shaping the resilience and religious character of vulnerable adolescents.
