Abstract

This research aims to analyze Risk Management Practices at PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Al Amin and assess its compliance with POJK Number 44/POJK.05/2020 regarding the implementation of risk management for non-bank financial service institutions. The type of research used is qualitative in the form of a case study with a juridical-empirical law approach. The research results show that, first, PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Al Amin has implemented risk management through the Three Lines of Defense framework and the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) method which includes identification, measurement, control, and risk monitoring. Second, the practice is generally in accordance with the provisions of POJK Number 44/POJK.05/2020 regarding the implementation of risk management for non-bank financial service institutions, especially in the management of nine types of risks and reporting to supervisory agencies. However, the obligation to have an integrated risk management information system has not been fully fulfilled because data management is still manual.

Abstract

Zakat plays a strategic role in realizing social justice and improving community welfare. This study aims to analyze the distribution mechanism of zakat funds through the Jakarta Future Scholarship (Masa Depan Jakarta/MDJ) Program organized by BAZNAS (BAZIS) DKI Jakarta, with reference to Law No. 23 of 2011 and BAZNAS Regulation No. 1 of 2023. This research employs a qualitative method with a juridical approach and case study design. Primary data were obtained through interviews, while secondary data were collected from literature, journals, and relevant regulations. The findings indicate that zakat distribution through the MDJ program has been implemented in a transparent and accountable manner, involving rigorous selection, online registration, and direct fund transfers to recipients. The implementation is consistent with Law No. 23 of 2011 Articles 25–27 and BAZNAS Regulation No. 1 of 2023, particularly regarding transparency, accountability, accuracy, and sustainability principles.

Abstract

There are still several findings related to ta'wiḍ. Based on Nadia Ananda Elsanti's 2017 research at BNI Syariah in Semarang, it was found that the amount of compensation (ta'wiḍ) was determined from the beginning of the agreement. Since the ta'wiḍ provision was included in the contract, the practice does not align with DSN MUI Fatwa No. 43/DSN-MUI/VIII/2004. This study aims to examine the practice of real costs as ta'wiḍ in Sharia Home Ownership Financing for defaulting customers at BSI KCP Bekasi Kalimalang Plaza and to analyze its conformity with Fatwa No. 129/DSN-MUI/VII/2019. Using a qualitative case study with a normative-empirical legal approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and literature review. The study found that real costs are not predetermined in the contract but are determined through deliberation and restructuring, and this practice aligns with the fatwa, applying only if default actually occurs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of transparency in zakat distribution by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of South Tangerang City and its compliance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure. The method used is qualitative research with a normative juridical approach, including observation and focused interviews with relevant BAZNAS officials. The main findings indicate that BAZNAS of South Tangerang City has implemented a structured and accountable zakat distribution system, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. However, published performance reports are still inconsistent and there are deficiencies in the preparation of official public information lists. The study's conclusions indicate that although transparency in zakat distribution has been running well, improvements in the aspect of published information are needed to strengthen accountability and public trust. The implications of this study highlight the importance of more systematic public information management to support the effectiveness of zakat management.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the crucial role of principal leadership in optimizing the effectiveness of collaboration between educational institutions and the community. This study applies a qualitative approach through a literature study method by analyzing various academic sources related to principal leadership and educational synergy. The reviewed literature was collected through exploration in various academic repositories using search terms relevant to the scope of the analysis. Based on the literature selection process, this study analyzed 17 scientific articles related to the focus of the study. The data were analyzed qualitatively through stages of data reduction, thematic grouping, and synthesis of findings. The results of the analysis show that principal leadership plays a strategic role in strengthening the effectiveness of school–community collaboration. The effectiveness of partnerships is influenced by the principal’s ability to build open communication, encourage community participation, develop innovations in partnership activities, and build trust between educational institutions and other stakeholders. Collaborative and participatory leadership strengthens the synergy between schools and communities, thereby supporting sustainable improvement in the quality of education.

Abstract

In the context of media disruption and the implementation of broadcasting migration policies from analog to digital systems, Nusantara TV emerged as a broadcasting institution that, since its inception, has fully implemented digital broadcasting. This study focuses on analyzing the strategies, stages, and contributions of Nusantara TV in accelerating the process of broadcasting digitalization in Indonesia. Using qualitative methods, research data was obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants directly involved in the dynamics of this digital transformation. The research findings indicate that Nusantara TV's transformation not only emphasizes technical aspects but also includes strategies for distributing set-top boxes, utilizing international-standard production and transmission technology, and logistics collaboration with third parties, such as PT Pos Indonesia, to expand broadcast reach to 3T areas (frontier, outer, and underdeveloped regions). Additionally, Nusantara TV actively supports digitalization regulation through the initiative to establish the Indonesian Digital Television Association (ATSDI). These research findings emphasize that the success of digital migration in the broadcasting industry is not solely determined by infrastructure readiness but is also influenced by the implementation of comprehensive strategies. (ATSDI). The findings of this study confirm that the success of digital migration in the broadcasting industry is not only determined by infrastructure readiness alone, but is also influenced by the implementation of comprehensive strategies, active involvement in national policies, and institutional innovation in facing the challenges of the media digitalization era.

Abstract

The development of the digital era and globalization has brought significant changes to students’ behavioral patterns, one of which is the emergence of individualistic attitudes among university students. Individualism is an attitude that can reduce empathy, social concern, and the spirit of mutual cooperation within the campus environment. This study aims to examine how the reactualization of the values contained in the second principle of Pancasila, Just and Civilized Humanity, can serve as a solution to overcome individualism among students. The results of this study show that the humanitarian values in Pancasila promote mutual respect, empathy, and concern for others. The implementation of these values can be carried out through social activities, academic collaboration, and strengthening character education within the campus environment. Therefore, the reactualization of Pancasila values plays an important role in building solidarity and social awareness among students.

Abstract

Mental health stigma is a major barrier to help-seeking and recovery among individuals with mental disorders. It generates prejudice, discrimination, and structural obstacles that affect quality of life and access to mental health services. This article aims to systematically analyze the scientific literature on mental health stigma in society, including its definitions, types, causes, impacts, cross-cultural manifestations, and the interventions that have been implemented. A Systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted by searching major academic databases such as Google Scholar using keywords related to stigma and mental health, public attitudes, and discrimination. Approximately 200 unique articles were identified, evaluated, and analyzed thematically. Mental health stigma commonly appears in the form of stereotypes, prejudice, and discriminatory actions toward individuals experiencing mental disorders. On the other hand, improving mental health literacy through psychoeducation, awareness campaigns, and educational programs in schools and communities is an important strategy to reduce stigma. When linked to the values of Pancasila, particularly the second principle, “Just and Civilized Humanity,” these efforts reflect respect for human dignity and the provision of fair and non-discriminatory treatment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyajikan tinjauan pustaka sistematis mengenai konvergensi antara Buddhisme dan neuroscience, dengan fokus pada dampak praktik meditasi Buddhistik terhadap plastisitas otak, regulasi emosi, dan transformasi kesadaran. Melalui analisis terhadap 30+ artikel dari jurnal bereputasi tinggi (2004–2025), penelitian ini mensintesis temuan empiris tentang perubahan struktural dan fungsional otak pada praktisi meditasi jangka panjang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meditasi Samatha, Vipassana, dan Metta secara signifikan memodulasi jaringan mode default (DMN), meningkatkan konektivitas fronto-parietal, serta menstabilkan osilasi gamma dan theta. Temuan ini mendukung hipotesis bahwa latihan mental dalam Buddhisme dapat menginduksi neuroplastisitas yang terukur, membuka jalan bagi integrasi kontemplatif dalam intervensi klinis. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi kesenjangan metodologis dan merekomendasikan pendekatan neurofenomenologis untuk penelitian masa depan.
