Abstract

The family is the smallest social unit that plays a vital role in shaping the quality of human resources and maintaining the stability of community life. However, various household problems such as family conflict, poor understanding of the rights and obligations of husband and wife, and lack of legal awareness can impact family resilience. Therefore, educational efforts are needed to improve public understanding of marriage law and the importance of building a harmonious family. This community service activity aims to strengthen the resilience of harmonious families through marital law counseling for the community of Anggut Dalam Village, Bengkulu City. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), which focuses on utilizing community assets and potential. The activity stages include discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. The activity was implemented through material delivery, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions regarding marriage law, the rights and obligations of husband and wife, the importance of marriage registration, and efforts to build a harmonious family. The results of the activity showed an increase in public understanding of the legal aspects of marriage and the importance of family resilience. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident in the high level of participation in the discussion and their ability to understand the material presented. This activity also encouraged growing public awareness to apply legal and religious values ​​in domestic life.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages government agencies to implement digital systems in the management of population administration, including the management of death certificate archives. One of the innovations used by the Tanjungpinang City Population and Civil Registration Office is the Population Archives Record Information System (SIREKAP). This study aims to analyze the application of SIREKAP in the management of death certificate archives at the Tanjungpinang City Population and Civil Registration Office. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document. the research informations consist of employees involved in the management of death certificate archives and the operation of SIREKAP. The results of the study show that the implementation of SIREKAP helps the process of recording, storing, and searching death certificate archives to be faster, more organized, and more accessible compared to manual filing systems. In addition, this system supports document security and improves the efficiency of population administration services. However, in its implementation, several obstacles are still found, such as internet network disruptions, the need to improve the ability of human resources in operating the system, and the need for regular system maintenance. Therefore, improving the quality of human resources and strengthening information technology infrastructure is needed to support the optimization of digital archive management within the Tanjungpinang City Population and Civil Registration Office.

Abstract

Health is a crucial aspect that requires special attention after a natural disaster. The Galodo disaster that struck Paninggahan Village, Solok City, not only caused environmental and infrastructure damage, but also had the potential to cause various health problems for the affected community. Through the Community Service Program (KKN), students collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to conduct free health checks and provide medicines to the Galodo-affected community. This activity aimed to detect community health conditions early, provide basic health services, and raise public awareness of the importance of maintaining health after a disaster. The results of the activity showed high enthusiasm from the community due to the easy access to fast and free health services. This program is expected to improve public health while strengthening the synergy between students, health workers, and the community in post-disaster recovery efforts.

Abstract

This study was prepared to examine the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in E-KTP services at the TanjungPinang City Population and Civil Registration Office, recognize obstacles that arise during its implementation, and identify the actions taken to improve the quality of service. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the SOP for E-KTP services has been carried out in accordance with existing provisions, starting from document acceptance, data validation, data recording, to printing E-KTP. However, in the acting, several obstacles are still found, including a fairly long service queue, disruptions to the Population Administration Information System (SIAK), and low public understanding of service procedures and requirements. Efforts that can be made to improve service quality include increasing network stability, expanding the distribution of information to the community, and conducting regular service evaluations. With these steps, it is hoped that the E-KTP service at the Tanjungpinang City Disdukcapil can operate more efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Social media has transformed how adolescents access information, interact, and produce digital content. This transformation creates both opportunities and risks, particularly related to misinformation, low digital literacy, and weak communication ethics. This community service program aims to improve secondary school students’ ability to produce creative, moderate, and responsible digital da’wah content through social media. The program applied an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach with a participatory model. It involved 28 junior high school students through asset mapping, training sessions, content production workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. Evaluation instruments included pre-test and post-test assessments, skill rubrics, and participant response questionnaires. The results show an increase in the average knowledge score from 78 to 86. Participants successfully produced three digital da’wah contents, including short videos, posters, and infographics, of which three were approved for publication after content curation. Participant responses were categorized as good with an average score of 85 percent, indicating improved understanding of information literacy, digital da’wah ethics, and media production skills. In conclusion, the program is effective in enhancing students’ competence as producers of digital da’wah content. Sustainability requires continuous support from schools, teachers, and student organizations to build a long-term digital da’wah ecosystem.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem in school environments with broad impacts on students' mental health and social development. This community service activity was conducted by KKN students from Universitas Negeri Padang at SMPN 1 Junjung Sirih on January 22, 2026, using a participatory educative approach through structured material presentation and interactive discussion. Materials covered the definition, types, impacts, and prevention strategies of bullying. The activity received an enthusiastic response, with students actively engaging in the question-and-answer session. It is recommended that the school integrate bullying education into its regular character development program through collaboration among teachers, parents, and students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low job satisfaction of employees at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang. Many factors influence employee job satisfaction, one of which is organizational climate. The purpose of this study is to obtain information regarding (1) organizational climate at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang, (2) employee job satisfaction at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang, and (3) how much influence organizational climate has on employee job satisfaction at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that organizational climate has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. This research is a quantitative study. The subjects of the study were employees at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang, with a population of 63 people. Sampling was carried out using proportional random sampling technique. The data collection tool used a Likert scale model questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability so that it was declared valid and reliable. The data analysis technique used Simple Linear Regression technique with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results of the study showed that 1) Employee Job Satisfaction at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang was in the very satisfied category with a score of 89.97%. 2) The organizational climate at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang is in the conducive category, with a percentage of 81.90%. 3) There is a significant influence between organizational climate and employee job satisfaction of 64.7%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the more conducive the organizational climate, the higher the level of job satisfaction produced by employees at the Dinas Sosial Kota Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of work discipline among employees of the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kota Padang. This study was motivated by the occurrence of work discipline violations within Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kota Padang, such as tardiness, non-compliance with uniform regulations, unexcused absences, and employees failing to carry out work orders, with a trend of increase from 7 cases (2023) to 16 cases (2024) and 10 cases (2025). This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of 469 employees and a sample of 83 individuals determined using the Slovin formula with the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and then analyzed using the mean formula. The results of the study indicate that the work discipline of employees at the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kota Padang falls into the high category, specifically in the aspects of punctuality with an average of 4.32, compliance with rules at 4.48, attendance at 4.40, and responsibility in performing duties at 4.42, with an overall average score of 4.41. Overall, employee work discipline is already classified as high; however, guidance and supervision still need to be improved, particularly regarding the effective use of working hours, so that employee work discipline can be more optimal and consistent.

Abstract

The availability of accurate and integrated spatial data is a crucial requirement in supporting administration and development planning at the Nagari level. Limau Lunggo Nagari, Lembang Jaya District, Solok Regency, previously did not have a comprehensively documented regional map, particularly regarding Jorong boundaries, land use and distribution of house numbers. This study aims to develop an integrated map and implement it in the form of a Web Geographic Information System (Web GIS) as a spatial information medium. The methods used include participatory data collection through interviews, discussions, and field observations, as well as spatial data processing using ArcGIS with reference to the Indonesian Topographic Map (RBI) and satellite imagery basecamp. The results of the study are in the form of three main maps, namely the jorong administrative boundary map, the land use map, and the distribution map of house numbers. The maps are presented in printed form as information signs and integrated into Google My Maps embedded on the official Nagari website. The implementation of Web GIS allows for interactive and easily accessible data presentation, thus supporting information transparency and spatial data-based decision-making at the Nagari level.

Abstract

Legal certainty in the distribution of inheritance rights over land is an important aspect in preventing ownership disputes within society. Based on observations conducted in Kebun Kenanga Village, several issues were identified, including land ownership conflicts between parties holding official land certificates issued by the National Land Agency (BPN) and parties claiming ownership based on grants (hibah). In addition, cases of overlapping land documents and limited public understanding regarding the legal procedures for transferring land rights through inheritance and grants were also found. On the other hand, the community possesses valuable assets, including support from village officials, community leaders, and active public participation, which can be utilized to enhance legal awareness. This community service activity aimed to improve public understanding of the importance of legal certainty in the distribution of inheritance rights over land. The method used was Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) through the stages of discovery, dream, design, and destiny. The program was implemented through legal counseling, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions with community members. The results showed an increase in public understanding regarding inheritance law, the legal status of grants, the evidentiary strength of land certificates, and the importance of land registration as a form of legal protection. The Societal Impact Index (SII) indicated a high category with an average score of 4.6. This activity generated positive social impacts by increasing legal awareness, reducing the potential for land disputes, and encouraging orderly land administration practices within the Kebun Kenanga community.
