Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai sistem penanggalan yang berada di Indonesia khususnya masyarakat Bugis Makassar dan Jawa. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian library research dengan menggunakan pendekatan syar’i, astronomis, historis dan normatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penanggalan Bugis Makassar merupakan penanggalan solar system atau kalender bulan. Penanggalan Bugis Makassar dan Jawa dalam perspektif Ilmu Falak tidak tepat jika digunakan sebagai penentuan waktu ibadah umat Islam, karena terdapat perbedaan seperti konsep, kriteria, bahkan jumlah hari yang berbeda akan menjadi keresahan dalam penentuan waktu ibadah. Meskipun demikian sistem penanggalan Bugis Makassar dan Jawa tetap dapat digunakan sesuai dengan kegunaan dan fungsinya masing-masing, seperti sistem penanggalan Bugis Makassar digunakan dalam kehidupan utamanya sebagai penentuan kualitas hari, sedangkan penanggalan Jawa digunakan sebagai petunjuk, tanggal dan hari keagamaan dan penentu waktu yang baik dalam melakukan hal penting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada toleransi kemelencengan arah kiblat dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui konsep penentuan arah kiblat dan mengetahui toleransi kemelencengan arah kiblat perspektif ilmu falak. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian library research dengan menggunakan pendekatan syar’i, astronomis, historis dan normatif. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa konsep mengenai arah kiblat menurut para tokoh dalam praktiknya yakni dengan menggunakan fenomena alam seperti matahari, bulan atau planet-planet lainnya dalam menentukan arah kiblat. Sebuah masjid dianggap masih akurat bila arah bangunan tidak melenceng diatas 1 derajat busur dari arah Ka’bah. Secara perhitungan matematis, toleransi kemelencengan arah kiblat 10busur=111/110 km. Apabila bangunan masjid menghadap kekota Makkah dengan matematis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 104'00"dan 00 24’00” merupakan batas toleransi yang diperbolehkan dalam menghadap kiblat dari posisi Ka’bah. Meskipun demikian diharapkan agar perhitungan dan pengukuran arah kiblat dapat dilakukan dengan seakurat mungkin dengan mempertimbangkan datadata dan alat ukur yang akurat serta meminimalisir faktor human eror sedemikian rupa.

Abstract

The discussion in this article is about the perspective of astronomy in determining the beginning of prayer times. The main issues in this article are: 1.) How is the influence of the position of the sun in determining prayer times? 2.) What is the role of astronomy in determining prayer times? This article is classified as library research, data is collected by quoting, adapting, and analyzing representative literature that has relevance to the problems discussed, then reviews, and concludes. After holding a discussion about the Analysis of the Effect of the Position of the Sun on the Early Determination of Prayer Times from the Astrological Perspective, the authors can conclude that the determination of the beginning of prayer times is not always the same every day so that it will change depending on the position of the sun and solar data. Likewise in knowing the end of the prayer time that has been determined. The method used to determine the beginning of the prayer time in this study was the calculation method (reckoning). For this reason, it is very important to study more deeply about astronomy, especially regarding the determination of the beginning of prayer times because every day the position of the sun will be different so that the prayer times change differently. The implication of the research in this article is that the author hopes that the government, astronomy experts, Islamic organizations, especially students, will continue to study more deeply the books of astronomy written by contemporary scholars in order to broaden their understanding of the early determination of prayer times. regarding the early determination of prayer times to the community, especially in remote areas so that people also know how to determine the early prayer times and understand that prayer times are not always the same every day. Abstract

The main problem in this study is how are the attitudes and understanding of the community regarding the Qibla direction, especially the people who are in Nirannuang Village, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency. This research is classified as a simple quantitative research type with a syar'i approach and a social approach. This research uses population and sample. The population taken is the people of Nirannuang Village and the sample is 30 people from 9 mosques. Furthermore, the data collection method used in this study is observation, closed interviews with instruments that have been prepared by researchers, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the attitude of the people of Nirannuang Village towards the Qibla direction is quite good, the majority of respondents who the researchers took as a sample assume that the Qibla direction is the direction of the Kaaba, so when praying they must face the Kaaba as a form of obedience in carrying out obligatory prayers or sunnah. Meanwhile, the understanding of the people of Nirannuang Village towards the Qibla direction is still lacking. This is because the majority of respondents understand how important knowledge of the Qibla direction is, but there are still many people who think that the Qibla direction is west. Abstract

Irfan, Nur Aisyah, Nila Sastrawati, Muh. Rasywan Syarif. Myths that develop in Indonesia society, especially in Bissoloro Village, Bungaya District, Gowa Regency, some people have their own beliefs in responding to the occurrence of the eclipse phenomenon by not doing activities outside the home, forbidding children to play outside the house, fearing they will get sick, and not being allowed to see the incident, the eclipse that occurs at night, it is believed that when the eclipse takes place, it is very suitable to uproot the lolo rupa plant to be used as a beauty potion for everyday use. This research is classified as a descriptive qualitative research field. The views of the people of Bissoloro Village in responding to the eclipse phenomenon still follow the beliefs of their ancestors. The development of science changes people’s assumptions, people who take education no longer think that eclipses are something to be afraid of, in fact the eclipse phenomenon is considered a beautiful and extraordinary phenomenon and interesting to observe using astronomical tools. From a scientific perspective, eclipses occur because the positions of the sun, moon, and earth are in a straigh line natural phenomenon occur naturally and can be scientifically From the perspective of astronomy, in the historical study of solar eclipses, it occurred at the time of the Prophet Muhammad. through the hadith clearly states that eclipses do not result in the death or birth of a person.Keywords: Eclipses, Science Perspective, and Astrology.

Abstract

Penlitian ini membahas mengenai analisis komparatif Software Stellarium dan Accurate Times dalam penentuan waktu shalat dzuhur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah library reseacrh, dengan menggunakan pendekatan multidisipliner, yakni: pendekatan syar’i dan pendekatan astronomis. Data penelitian ini diambil berdasarkan pada sumber data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yakni studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa metode perhitungan dari kedua Software tersebut tidak jauh berbeda, pada Software Stellarium perhitungan penentuan awal waktu Shalat menampilkan simulasi benda langit. Tingkat keakurasian Software Stellarium dan Accurate Times berdasarkan perhitungan data Ephemeris, setelah dilakukan analisa dari pengoperasiannya penulis menemukan perbedaan, dimana Software Stellarium lambat 4-8 detik dari Software Accurate Times pada saat kulminasi, sedangkan pada Software Accurate Times hasil yang dikeluarkan sama dengan perhitungan Ephemeris. Sehingga dapat penulis disimpulkan bahwa dari kedua Software yang telah dibandingkan dengan Perhitungan Ephemris dapat dikatakan Software Accurate Times jauh lebih akurat dibandingkan Software Stellarium hanya saja terdapat perbedaan detik, namun keduanya sama-sama dapat digunakan dalam penentuan waktu Shalat Dzuhur.

Abstract

Researchers examine the correlation between the correlation between reckoning and rukyat in the formulation of the hijriyah calendar. This research is motivated by the debate among Muslims who always decorate the seconds before the entry of the month of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha. The difference between the reckoning group and the rukyat group often raises questions and debates among Muslims about which of the two methods is correct. This study aims to examine various theories in the method of reckoning and rukyat in the formulation of the hijriyah calendar using a historical approach and a syar'i approach which later is expected to be able to find out the correlation between reckoning and rukyat so that later there will be no more distance between the two methods in order to create unity and unity in worship. Hisab and rukyat basically have no conflict and can be said to be one unit and have the same value. Therefore, it is appropriate for the government, namely the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. as the authority holder to be able to immediately take a firm stance in order to create unity and integrity. And as citizens, every group or mass organization should unite perceptions and eliminate group egos in order to create unity and unity in worship.

Abstract

The main problem of this research for To find out the prophet’s instructions about the dawn of sadiq?Sub problem how to from the perspective of astronomy? To find out the dawn of sadiq according to astronomy. This type of research with the nature of “library research” with syar’i, philosophical, and astronomical approaches.The results of this study that time for the dawn prayer entered the category .of down shadiq, namely the second dawn until the end of the dark night because the prophet Muhammad used to do the.dawn prayer ending until sunrise. Some mass organizations concluded that the criteria for fajar shadiq and some astronomy lecturers were different, starting with the nahdatul ulama who determined that -18 degrees were originally .-20 degrees, this is also used by the ministry of religion, which is -18 degrees, while the view of astronomy lecturers is based on the same movement. Conducted on research in jakarta and yogyakarta from the results of these studies they found -18 to -18.This study focuses on the criteria for the dawn of sadiq and the beginning of the dawn prayer time. This research is in the form of literature that can be influnced by several comples factors, therefore it is hoped that astronomy academics and competent instituons can conduct contemporary research in accordance with modern science as a whole at the point where there may be differences in the results of fajar shadi’s criteria.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is how is the existence of the apparent annual motion of the sun in determining prayer times and Qibla direction (astronomical perspective)? What is the sub-problem of the concept of the daily and annual apparent motion of the sun? and the implementation of the sun's annual apparent motion in determining the beginning of prayer times and Qibla direction?. This study uses the Library Research method, the syar'i approach and astronomy. The research results show that changes in the position of the sun cause differences in the length of day and night and affect prayer times. The difference in prayer times that changes significantly occurs when the sun's position is in the opposite direction, that is, when the sun's position is on the equinox and the equinox. Unlike the case for areas around the equator, the difference in prayer times does not change significantly. Meanwhile, determining the direction of the Qibla by the apparent annual motion of the sun, where the phenomenon when the sun culminates over the Kaaba or known as the Rashdul Qibla event which occurs on the 27th and 28th of May as well as the 15th and 16th July with the Qibla shadow can be determined at 17:18 and 17:27 WITA which occur every year. These two things prove that the apparent motion of the sun is very influential in determining the accurate start of prayer times and Qibla direction

Abstract

Abstract In the lunar calendar there are three white days, namely on days where the moon looks bright at night on the 13th, 14th and 15th (full moon), however, to distinguish the 14th and 15th by means of a rukyat in a month is very difficult because in the month full moon reflected moonlight is just as bright so contemporary reckoning is needed. The type of research used is library research with an astronomical and syar'i research approach. equipped with primary data and secondary data. Processing and analysis of data through the process of editing data, transforming data and presenting data. The research results obtained by calculating the full moon with the Jean Meeus algorithm for the month of Ramadan 1444 H, first converting the UT time to JD which is then converted to JDE. Find T to find M, M', F, and Ω. The difference in the calculation results from the Meeus and ephemeris algorithms is very large, around 19h 11m 19d. Meeus uses the long formula while ephemeris uses the RI Ministry of Religion's moon-solar data. Keywords: Algorithm, Ephemeris, Lunar Calendar
