This study discusses the implementation of Bugis navigation constellations in Falak Science. Star is a form of the sign of the greatness of God Almighty, which was created in vain, it has an important role in human life, one of which is that stars can be used as directions, as is known by the Bugis people in South Sulawesi, which makes stars as system navigation in the voyage which came to be called Bugis navigation. The aim of this research is to find out the implementation of the Bugis navigation constellations in Falak Science. This research belongs to library research, using a multidisciplinary approach, namely: the syar'i approach, the philosophical approach and the astronomical approach, where the data deemed relevant in the object of this study are analyzed and studied in depth by the author then poured in the form of discussion in answering the problem.

Arah kiblat merupakan hal yang sangat fundamental karena berkaitan dengan ibadah. Ibadah yang dimaksud disini adalah shalat, shalat ada sesuatu hal yang wajib hukumnya untuk dikerjakan bagi umat muslim yang sudah baligh. Para ulama telah bersepakat bahwa keabsahan shalat ditentukan oleh ketepatan menghadap arah kiblat, sehingga jika arah kiblatnya tidak tepat, maka shalatnya bisa dikatakan tidak sah. Arah kiblat adalah arah atau jarak terdekat sepanjang lingkaran besar yang melewati Kota Mekkah (Ka’bah) dengan tempat kota yang bersangkutan.Maka perlu disepakati bahwa bagi yang berada di dalam masjidil haram maka kiblatnya adalah Ka’bah, bagi yang berada di luar masjidil haram (di kota mekkah) maka kiblatnya masjidil haram, sedangkan bagi yang berada di luar kota mekkah maka kiblatnya cukup menghadap ke kota mekkah saja. Qiblat tracker merupakan alat yang dipergunakan untuk mengukur arah kiblat. Para petugas pengukur arah kiblat sangat berharap dengan bantuan alat ini dapat membantu dan meringankan beban mereka ketika membantu masyarakat.Alat ini dapat digunakan dengan 2 mode, mode kompas dan mode jam matahari. Qiblat Tracker juga dapat digunakan untuk mengukur arah kiblat dengan berbagai bantuan, salah satunya dengan bantuan posisi arah utara sejati, cara menentukannya dengan melihat bulan, bintang, matahari, dan planet. Serta juga dapat bekerja dengan bantuan kompas. Dengan alat ini, diharapkan bahwa dapat membantu masyrakat dalam pengukuran arah kiblat masjid dan kuburan. Dari penelitian yang peneliti lakukan menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan arah kiblat masjid di Kecamatan Liliriaja sudah benar dan tepat. Ada beberapa yang agak miring akan tetapi tidak melewati batas standarisasi maksudnya ada beberapa masjid yang tidak tepat sehingga beda 2-3 derajat tapi itu tidak menjadi permasalahan karena itu masih dalam lingkup wilayah Arab Saudi tidak keluar ke negara-negara yang ada disebelahnya. Sedangkan untuk arah kiblat kuburan secara keseluruhan agak miring sehingga ada beberapa yang mesti diluruskan. Masyarakat memahami bahwa arah kiblat itu sangat penting sehingga masyarakat merasa sangat terbantu dengan dilakukannya kalibrasi atau uji akurasi ulang arah kiblat masjid dan pemakaman yang ada di wilayah mereka. Pengkuran ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat dan menjaga nilai-nilai ibadah serta kemaslahatan umat muslim.

Qibla direction is the direction in which all Muslims in all corners of the world look up and turn their faces to His Rab as the servant should be as a condition for the validity of prayer. The Qibla is in Mecca Al-Mukarramah which is in the form of a cube (Ka'bah). The direction of the Kaaba can be determined from any point or place on the surface of the earth with calculations and measurements. Therefore, calculating the Qibla direction is basically a calculation to find out in what direction the Kaaba in Mecca is seen from the surface of the earth. From this study discuss and test the accuracy of the Qibla direction at the Sultan Alauddin Madani Mosque using the classic and modern tools, the istiwa stick 'using the ball triangle method then juxtaposed with the shadow of the sun or the shadow of the Qibla direction. Then with a digital compass using the method of calculating the difference between Mecca and region (SBMD). Where istiwa 'is known as a tool that is not too urjen in society (traditional), while a digital compass maybe everyone already has it in an increasingly modern and sophisticated era like those in Android smartphones and other digital devices.

The dating of Qamariyah is the date of Muslims in determining the entry and the feast of days, months, and years. In this dating system, it has a very close association with the setting of the sun which then the crescent (Hilal), then the observation process is done by this change, to know the entry of the beginning of the new month, this process is called Rukyatul Hilal. There are several techniques in the process of Rukyatul Hilal, so this process can be implemented. The success rate of the Rukyatul Hilal process is influenced by internal and external factors. One of the internal factors is related to weather conditions and the external factor of urgency is the location of the observation. Barombong Beach feasibility level as a place of Rukyatul Hilal can be measured based on geographical location and climatic conditions at the site. So, the means used to determine the level of feasibility of Barombong Beach as a place of Rukyatul Hilal can be data collected and also do a direct observation of the field research. With the condition of the western horizon that is free of all things that can obstruct the process of the pass and the weather condition are stable, then Barombong Beach is declared worthy as a place of Rukyatul Hilal. While keeping an eye on the existing systematics so there is no failure in the process of the Rukyatul Hilal.

Abstrak Kajian ini membahas tentang konsep Ilmu Falak sebagai ilmu yang mempelajari tentang litasan benda-benda langit khusunya bumi, bulan, dan matahari. Benda-benda langit selalu berjalan pada lintasan atau orbitnya, sehingga dapat diketahui letak antara benda langit yang satu dengan benda langit lainnya dan juga untuk mengetahui waktu-waktu dipermukaan bumi. Dalam sejarahnya ilmu falak atau astronomi sering disebut sebagai ilmu tertua. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah perkembangan dan ruang lingkup ilmu falak. Secara garis besar, ilmu falak memiliki pembahasan tersendiri jika dikaitkan dengan ibadah-ibadah yang pelaksanaannya berkaitan dengan ruang dan waktu, baik ibadah yang dilakukan oleh umat Islam maupun selain Islam. Pada umumnya, para ulama ilmu falak menekankan pembahasan ilmu falak pada empat pembahasan, yaitu arah kiblat, waktu sholat, awal bulan qomariah, dan gerhana sehingga ilmu falak mempunyai kedudukan penting dalam Islam karena ibadah akan sempurna dengannya. It is a fact that the direction of the mosque located in our country still differs from one another, the direction of the spread of the mosque in the community still differs to 20 degrees or beyond. Qibla deviation is most commonly found in the amount of 25⁰ which is right to the West. How far the deviation that occurs if wrong in determining the position of the Qibla direction leading to the ka’ba in Mecca, where the distance from the regency of Maros is as far as 9156.24 km. then if there is an error of just 1⁰, then there is a deviation as far 110 km. This study has the main problem regarding the accuracy of the position of the qibla directionof mosquesin the Village of Alliritengae, Turikale sub-District, Maros District with the type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that is a type of research that describes qualitatively about objects discussed according to the reality that can be found in the community. The conclusion in this study is that the determination of the direction of qibla is a test given by Allah Almighty to His servants to test how much their faith in trying to perfect their servitude to Allah Almighty. Therefore, it is expected that all Muslims in Indonesia should try to perfect our worship of Allah Almighty, especially in justifying the direction of qibla when we want to pray.

Facing the Qibla is an Islamic obligation, therefore everyone can at least know the procedures for determining the direction of Qibla so that when someone is on his way to a place, he is no longer confused as to where he should be facing when performing worship, especially prayer. In the city of Sengkang there are two Islamic organizations that are quite influential in matters of science related to Islam namely, Muhammadiyah and As'adiyah. Therefore in this paper, the authors conducted a study related to the direction of the two mosques in different organizations namely the Muhammadiyah Mosque and the As'adiyah Mosque, and the issues raised were related to the method used in determining the Qibla direction by the two organizations, and the accuracy of each the mosque will then be examined directly in the field in order to obtain complete and valid data. In determining the direction of the Qibla direction of the Muhammadiyah Mosque, there are a variety of methods used, and there are still many whose Qibla direction deviates from the existing Qibla direction. Whereas in determining the direction of the Qibla of the As'adiyah Mosque there are also various methods used and there is also an inclination towards several mosques but not far enough from the existing provisions. Thus, in determining the direction of the mosque's qibla, it is better to have the involvement of an institution that oversees the issue such as the Ministry of Religion or to provide socialization to the community, mosque administrators, and religious leaders regarding the direction of good and correct qibla.

In the implementation of the prayer which is the most important obligation for Muslims, there are a number of conditions, harmony, sunnah, and etiquette as well as prohibitions that cannot be done in the worship. One of the legal requirements for prayer is facing the Qibla (Masjid Al-Haram) in Makkah City. This is based on the results of the agreement of the scholars, so the need for instruments to facilitate the position of determining the direction of Qibla. Qibla direction measurement instruments have developed more and more advanced, starting from the object that becomes a reference and systematic use of easy to short measurement time, including the Qiblat Tracker instrument with a Phone Tracker. However, the development of existing instruments needs to be considered how the method of use and the level of accuracy. So by testing the instruments at five mosque points directly measured through Google Earth, it was found 1º difference between the Qibla direction measurement results between Qiblat Tracker instruments that use celestial objects as objects and the Phone Tracker that makes the Star Walk 2 application as an object. This is because there is still a distance between the Tracker Phone instrument and the Star Walk 2 application. As a result, the Qiblat Tracker instrument is stated to be more accurate, it is necessary to know further how much deviation occurs between the Tracker Phone instrument against its own object.

Navigation in general is directing a ship on a voyage or a way to determine the position and direction of travel both on the actual terrain and on the map. Shipping activities are seen as a medium of community communication in one region with other regions. Bugis tribe is one of the nations of the archipelago that is oriented to the sea, and many create a tradition and culture in shipping activities. This journal discusses the roots of bugis navigation in the 17th century that marked the development of Islamic civilization in the midst of the culture of Bugis society. The 17th century in a Bugis society was an era where Islam and culture were integrated but remained in accordance with Islamic values. This can be found in ancient manuscripts sourced from the literature of the Buginese community. The journal also shows that before the advent of modern navigation tools, Bugis sailors relied on their ability and experience to sail, utilizing natural phenomena both in the sky and at sea. Like using the wind, moon, and stars.

The direction of Qibla becomes one of the legitimate requirements of prayer worship which is obligatory for Islamic Ummah, based on the word of Allah Swt on QS. Al-Baqarah/2:144, QS. Al-Baqarah/2:145, and QS. Al-Baqarah/2:150, and there are also some hadith that narrated in relation to the direction of Qibla namely at HR. Bukhari, hr. Baihaqi, and also several opinions of scholars such as Imam Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali and Imam Hanafi. The orders facing the Qiblah make the ummah of Islam pay attention to the initial position when it will carry out the Saalat, so it is necessary to make qibla direction for the mosque which becomes the place of prayer for Muslims. Then it is considered necessary to re-check the position of Qibla direction Mosque in Pitu Riawa district of Kab. Sidrap with a total of 10 villages, However, the samples used only 5 mosques that can be an overview of the Qibla direction position located in the sub-district of Riawa, based on the method of measurement performed and the level of accuracy of qibla direction of the mosque by testing directly to the field using the instrument Qiblat Tracker as one of the qibla direction measurement instruments. Thus, it is found that the accuracy of the mosque in Pitu Riawa sub-district is still not accurate because the results of the measurements there are more than 7 degrees more than a few, there are even more than the from. Five mosques that have been measured can be the benchmark for the remaining five mosques that have not been tested in Pitu Riawa Kabupaten Sidrap Sub-district.
