Abstract

The drug problem in Indonesia is still something urgent and complex. In the past decade, this problem has become rife, as evidenced by the increase in the number of abuses and trafficking, to drug smuggling significantly, even spreading into prisons. The purpose of this study is to identify modes of smuggling, analyze the role and involvement of relevant parties, assess causal and driving factors, evaluate the effectiveness of surveillance and control systems. The method used in this research is empirical juridical by conducting direct research to the Cirebon Class I Penitentiary and also using the Deductive thinking method. Drug smuggling occurred at the Class I Cirebon Penitentiary, which was in the mode of visitors smuggling prohibited items into the Class I Cirebon Penitentiary, West Java, which was thwarted by officers of the Cirebon Class I Penitentiary. The items were 1 plastic meth clip and 150 grains of Alphrazolam type sedative into the Penitentiary. His modus operandi, the drug was hidden by a visitor inside his restricted area. The strategies carried out by correctional officers for the prevention of drug smuggling are physical security strategies and technological security strategies, as well as internal and external factors supervised by correctional officers. Abstract

Cyber ??operations began to attract attention in international law in the late 1990s, in 1999 the United States Naval War College held the first major legal conference on this issue. In the aftermath of the attacks of September 11, 2001, transnational terrorism and subsequent armed conflict shifted attention from topics to large-scale cyber attacks. Operations occurred in Estonia in 2007 and against Georgia during its war with the Russian Federation in 2008, as well as cyber incidents such as the targeting of Iran's nuclear facilities with the Stuxnet Worm in 2010. Cyber ??warfare is included in organized crime and terrorism as one of the level one threats. The United States National Security Strategy itself calls cyberwarfare one of the most serious national security, public safety and economic challenges that we face as a nation and state. There is a need for clear and concrete international and national legal regulations so that cyber warfare can be prevented and does not cause unnecessary casualties in accordance with the principles of international humanitarian law. Apart from clear regulations, support is needed in the defense sector to form human resources and at the military defense level.

The central purpose of this reform is to increase fairness, effectiveness, and efficiency in criminal law enforcement in Indonesia. With structured and clear sentencing guidelines, it is hoped that the sentencing process can be carried out consistently and transparently, providing fair decisions for all parties involved. This article highlights several important aspects that need to be considered in renewing the functionalization of criminal law in Indonesia. First, justice in the sentencing process must be maintained by ensuring equal treatment for all individuals before the law. Second, technological innovation is crucial for increasing efficiency and accuracy in the legal process. Third, crime prevention and rehabilitation are also important focuses for creating a safer and more civilized society. In addition, the significance of international cooperation is increasing the capacity of law enforcement officials, as well as transparency and accountability are also emphasized in this article. Challenges such as harmonization of regulations, limited resources, resistance from certain parties, and so on, must be overcome with strong commitment and cooperation from various related parties. It is hoped that with a deep understanding of these challenges, updating the functionalization of criminal law and sentencing guidelines in Indonesia can have a positive impact on efforts to achieve better legal justice. Cross-sector collaboration, innovation, and strong commitment from the government, legal authorities, and society as a whole are the main keys to realizing a fairer and more effective criminal legal system in the future.

Abstract

Globalization is a traditional process of exchanging world paradigms for the work, understanding and aspects of local wisdom of a nation which encourages the emergence of a situation of mutual dependence (interdependence) for technological, economic, health, social and cultural activities. Health globalization is closely related to economic and social globalization as a phenomenon to describe something that is complex or consists of various interrelated elements, such as for example in psychology which describes individual traits or characteristics that cannot be simplified. These changes have an impact on citizens in general and individuals, causing a complex influence on the incidence and causes of mental disorders in population development. In addition, the ways in which mental disorders are understood and shaped by ongoing global shifts. This problem is also possible with increasing industrialization and urbanization, access to western traditions to medical systems will become more common and sophisticated as a shift that can lead to changes in health technology. Internet access is a form of technological progress that cannot be avoided and will influence philosophical, ideological and political views of the world. The prevalence of mental disorders is closely related to social, economic and cultural conditions. If we consider all the previously mentioned changes in information technology, we can easily predict that the form and content of mental disorders, psychological treatments and psychotherapy as well as pharmacotherapy will undergo serious changes. Considering developments in the current era of globalization of modern technology and increasingly fierce competition in society, it is possible that people are not strong enough to live their lives so they can experience mental disorders and it needs to be underlined that mental illnesses can attack anyone.

Abstract

The purpose of this study, the researcher uses descriptive and verifiable analysis methods. Verifiable analysis through panel data regression analysis, by choosing the best approach from the Common Effect Model, Fixed Effect Model or Random Effect Model. The research variables consisted of natural resource factors (F_SDA) in the primary sector which were proxied from the contribution of the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors as well as the mining and quarrying sector to GDP, Foreign Investment (FDI), Government Expenditure (Blj_P), Average School Length (R_LS), Population Growth (Pert_Pduk) as free variables and Economic Growth (Pert_Ek) and Employment Opportunity Rate (TKK). Secondary data was obtained from BPS, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, SatuData of the Ministry of Manpower. The type of data is panel data that was studied during the time period 2010 to 2019. The results of the study show that relatively high economic growth in areas with archipelagic characteristics does not have an impact on increasing employment opportunities. The F_SDA and FDI variables have no effect on economic growth in archipelagic areas, the Blj_P variables are influential and significant, while Pert_Pduk have an effect but not significantly on economic growth in archipelagic areas. The human resource factor variable that is proxied from the average of a long time (R_LS) has an effect but is negative and significant on economic growth in the archipelago. Overall, from this study, it was found that economic growth in the archipelago during the period from 2010 to 2019 was not of good quality.
