Studi Multidisipliner: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman (Journal of Islamic Studies) published by Postgraduate IAIN Padangsidimpuan (now the status has changed to State Islamic University Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan). This journal was started in 2014, when it was still in the form of P-ISSN: 2355-7850 published twice a year, namely in June and December. But then this journal is already in the form of E-ISSN: 2477-0280, so the management of this journal is now OJS and nationally accredited. The focus and scope of this journal is research related to Islamic Education, Islamic Law, Islamic Economics, Islamic Broadcasting Communication, Islamic Thought and Philosophy, Islamic History. Authors can submit articles to this journal by reading the template articles first.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to reveal the meaning and values of multicultural education in the perspective of Nurcholish Madjid's thinking by using the research method of character studies. The results of this study can be concluded that Nurcholish Madjid that in referring to the multicultural term Nurcholish Madjid uses the term plurality more. Plurality is a plural or plural society which is the design and sunnatulah Allah Almighty for mankind because there is no single and equal society in all aspects. The multicultural education values found, namely the value of democracy (must be absolutivism / free to express opinions and accept criticism), the value of justice (must be fair and be a referee / mediator in upholding something), the value of equality (all human beings are the same that distinguishes only the level devotion), human values (humans are not justified to denigrate one another) and tolerance values (mutual respect and respect for other religions and give freedom of worship).Keywords: Education; Multicultural; Nurcholish Madjid. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan makna dan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif pemikiran Nurcholish Madjid dengan menggunakan metode penelitian studi tokoh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nurcholish Madjid dalam menyebut istilah multikultural lebih banyak menggunakan istilah pluralitas. Pluralitas adalah suatu masyarakat majemuk atau plural yang merupakan design dan sunnatulah Allah swt untuk umat manusia karena tidak ada masyarakat yang tunggal dan sama dalam semua segi. Adapun nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural yang didapati, yaitu nilai demokrasi (harus absolutivisme/ bebas mengutarakan pendapat dan menerima kritikan), nilai keadilan (harus bersikap adil dan menjadi wasit/penengah dalam menegakkan sesuatu), nilai kesetaraan (semua manusia sama yang membedakannya hanya tingkat ketaqwaan), nilai kemanusiaan (manusia tidak dibenarkan untuk merendahkan satu sama lain) dan nilai toleransi (saling menghormati dan menghargai agama lain serta memberi kebebasan beribadah). Kata Kunci: Pendidikan; Multikultural; Nurcholish Madjid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlakuan akuntansi zakat yang diterapkan Lembaga Amil Zakat Yatim Mandiri Medan dan apakah sudah sesuai dengan PSAK No.109. selain itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis transparansi dan akuntabilitas pada penyajian laporan keuangan yang diterapkan Lembaga Amil Zakat Yatim Mandiri Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif menggunakan data primer yang diambil dari data laporan keuangan serta dengan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Lembaga Amil Zakat Yatim Mandiri Medan dalam perlakuan akuntansi zakat nya sudah sesuai dengan PSAK No.109 yang dilihat dari data laporan posisi keuangan yang memisahkan dana zakat, infak/sedekah dan dana non zakat, infak/sedekah dalam laporan posisi keuangannya. Pengukuran akuntabilitas yang dilakukan Lembaga Amil Zakat Yatim Mandiri Medan dalam penyajian dan penyaluran laporan keuangan sudah sesuai dengan indikator kinerja Lembaga Amil Zakat Yatim Mandiri Medan dalam menyalurkan dana, serta indikator laporan keuangan yang telah dipublikasikan dan dilakukan audit independen. Lembaga Amil Zakat Yatim Mandiri Medan masih belum transparan dalam menyampaikan laporan keuangan dilihat hanya laporan perubahan dana saja yang disampaikan di website resmi Yatim Mandiri dan majalah setiap bulannya serta menjalakan programnya dengan sangat terbuka dan secara transparan dengan menempatkan semua kegiatan yang sudah dijalankan di website resmi Yatim Mandiri dan mengelurkan majalah yang berjudul Yatim Mandiri Inspirasi Kepedulian.

Abstract

AbstrakKajian ini bertujuan untuk membahas perspektif strategi pembelajaran akhlak mulia membangun transformasi sosial siswa SMP. Manusia seutuhnya menjadi target capaian pendidikan dalam sebuah institusi, yang inti capaiannya meliputi aspek jasmani dan rohani dengan iman dan takwa sebagai landasannya. Dalam perspektif Islam kedua capaian itu tercakup dalam konsep fitrah membentuk akhlak mulia dalam konteks internal dalam dirinya dan eksternal ketika bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Perpaduan keduanya tampil dalam al-jism dan al-ruh yang terdiri dari al-‘`aql, al-qalb, dan al-nafs secara utuh dan terintegrasi melahirkan manusia berakhlak mulia. Dalam pembelajarannya menggunakan strategi afektif dengan pendekatan value centre, yakni pembela-jaran yang lebih mengedepankan sikap dan nilai, menyeimbangkan keaktifan guru dan murid dalam upaya membentuk hubungan sosial yang memiliki kesadaran dan bersinergis. Sinergisitas kesadaran antara keduanya membentuk kepatuhan, kepatutan, ketaatan dan keterampilan membina hubungan sosial yang baik di antara sesama siswa, juga secara timbal balik guru dan siswa dan lainnya.  AbstractThis study aims to discuss the perspective of learning strategies on morals social transformation to build noble in Junior High School. The whole man becomes the target of educational achievement in an institution, which the core of the achievements includes physical and spiritual aspects with the faith and piety as its foundation. In the Islamic perspective of both the achievements included shaping the nature of the concept of noble character in the context of the internal and external on hisself when socializing with the surrounding environment. The combi-nation of both appears in al-jism and al-ruh consisting of al-'`aql, al-Qalb, and al-nafs as a whole and integrated human childbirth noble. In the learning is used affective strategies to approach the value center, which it emphasizes learning attitudes and values, balancing the activity of teachers and students in an effort to form social relationships and synergy awareness. The synergy awareness is among compliance form, decency, obedience and social skills of a good relati-onship among students as well as reciprocity and other teachers and students.

Abstract

Al-Azhar in its development, not only as a place to study religion or shelter for the poor, even al-Azhar is also a unifying place for the people in the struggle to free Egypt from colonialism. The specialty of al-Azhar is not only skilled in producing quality scholars, but it also builds world civilization in two ways, namely the personality possessed by al-Azhar itself, and through its graduates who bring change to the world community. Al-Azhar not only becomes history, but witnesses and carves history in the wonders of the world of education and civilization. And the existence of al-Azhar is clear evidence that Islam is a religion that cares about education, health, arts, and other general sciences.

Abstract

This study aims to verify the effect of human resource management and the motivation of school principals on the work discipline of teachers at SD IT Pandan in Central Tapanuli Regency. This research is a correlation research with a quantitative approach. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire which was tested using validity and reliability tests, while the analytical technique used was quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a significant effect of human resource management on significant work discipline (Fcount (23.15) greater than Ftable (0.320)), there was also a significant influence of motivation on work discipline significantly (Fcount (38.04) greater than Ftable (0.320)). Meanwhile, based on multiple regression data analysis, the results showed that there was a significant influence of human resource management and motivation on the work discipline of teachers at SD IT Pandan in Central Tapanuli Regency. This is evidenced by the statistical results of multiple regression tests which show that Fcount (1.8) is greater than Ftable (0.320), then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. In addition, the results obtained from the SPSS value which shows the value of Human Resource Management (β) 0.269 (**p0.05; p=0.000) and Giving Motivation (β) 0.303 (*p0.05; p=0.000) has a significant effect on the work discipline of teachers at SD IT Pandan in Central Tapanuli Regency. The contribution of the variable influence of human resource management and motivation to work discipline is (ΔR2) 0.144

Abstract

In this encyclopedic book entitled (Orientalism, Postmodernism, and Globalism), Brian Turner, the British Marxist philosopher, thinker, and sociologist, discusses the thoughts of prominent intellectuals of modernity and postmodernity, and, most famous orientalists in the history of Orientalism. Turner refutes their opinions regarding the role of religion in societies, and the ability of Islam to be a lever for modernization. After the collapse of Communism and the overwhelming of Western societies in endless social and economic problems, Islam may be the only alternative to Western capitalist hegemony in today's world. Globalization and postmodernism further complicate the notion of “society” and thus challenged the legitimacy and coherence of “sociology” itself, but also they have affected all fields, including Orientalism. Orientalism, under the pluralism of globalization and the violation of all boundaries by postmodernism, seemed an outdated and invalid critical maneuver, not to mention its intrinsic problems.Therefore, Turner wants to take us to a global sociology, through the efforts of social scientists and thinkers who are well aware of the threats, but also the new opportunities posed by postmodernism. Turner singles out special treatment of the postmodern consumer society. He believes that daily life has become part of a global system of commodity exchange and is not easily affected by political leaders, intellectuals, or religious leaders. Therefore, the danger to faith will be in terms of consumerism and its symbols, not in terms of logical arguments and rational research into presuppositions about the West or the East.Brian Turner's ability to bring together such discussions of religion, politics, culture, and intellectuals represents a remarkable integration of cultural analysis into cultural studies. This study aims to provide a critical analysis of Turner's views on the three topics under discussion in the book: Orientalism, globalization, and postmodernism.

Abstract

Ibn Khaldun is the one who always dissatisfied with the knowledge obtained, so that he learns from many teachers. It includes people who are not only good at LMU Islam, but also in the general sciences, such as history, economics, sociology, anthropology and others. He is also famous for educators. He developed and developing theories about pedagogical he poured in his famous book Muqoddimah. Of the several methods proposed by Ibn Khaldun, there are methods that are relevant to the implementation of Islamic education in Indonesia. Rote methods are still used to memorize mufradat Arabic, qawaid, and the verses of the Qur'an. Dialogue is usually used when the muzakaroh or in discussing any science that are in need of discussion. Widya tours are also conducted by the students, especially the students who boarded dipesantren for several years.

Abstract

This article aims to strike a balance between online games that have some negative impacts and offline games (which are paired with the term sports or games) in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study because the source of the data is from the uti-utian of the Angkola tribe which originates from a written document titled "Adat budaya Batak Angkola menelusuri perjalanan masa". The results revealed three categories of uti-utian namely: children's games, dexterity, and the device to block. Cultural themes resulting from these three categories include: being able to practice fitness, agility, positive social interactions (cooperation, honesty, sportsmanship, solidarity, solidarity, tolerance, patience, agility, being smart in looking for opportunities, clever in finding solutions), learning to appreciate victory, tolerant defeat, clear-minded, and the most important thing is to be happy in life. Thus, this study can still be developed in further research by deepening the comparison of the types of online games that continue to develop which are equivalent to the types of offline games based on deeper arguments.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools must prepare cadres of the best teachers who are not only able to read classical books, but also cadres of teachers who have broad Islamic insight with the provision of at least two international communication languages, Arabic and English. Departing from this, Journalism Literacy Literacy training in Pesentren continued to be banged on including pesantren in the Cibiru Region. This study uses a participatory observation method, researchers who involve themselves in the research object being carried out. The conclusion of the discussion that has been done is the importance of Journalism Literacy Literacy training in Pesentren to keep abreast of the times in the 4.0 revolution era. Pesantren will feel the positive impact and encourage the positive lines to queue, especially in the District of Cibiru.

Abstract

Humans identify as religious followers and cultural successors. Indonesia's religious and cultural diversity has frequently become the source of conflict. Traditional law is frequently chosen as an independent law because existing legal values are enforced and upheld by the community as well as bodies or institutions in the area. The goal of this research is to understand the interreligious and cultural approach known as Gawe Rafah. A Sasak communal custom that serves as a platform for interreligious and cultural counseling. This was also employed in Mareje Village, West Lombok Regency, to settle disputes between Muslims and Buddhists. This study used qualitative research to critically characterize a social interaction in society in order to seek and find meaning in its genuine environment (natural setting). The case study approach is an activity that involves gathering data and information in depth. This means that the primary data for this study came from interviews done by researchers with religious and traditional leaders at the Gawe Rafah event. Researchers likewise used secondary data, such as information from journals, books, and articles. In this tradition, there are findings about the cultural spirit called Iqrar Sopoq Tundun (one descendant), where people try to unite with ethnic and cultural similarities as Sasak Lombok people. This pattern shows that traditional communities can override their religion, personal will and even government rules, In order to reach a consensus that allows them to coexist in harmony and peace. This research is expected to open the insights of the people in conflict areas that based on open communication between communities, ancestral practices like this can become unique and wisdom in each region in Indonesia.
