The focus and scope of this journal is research related to Islamic Education, Islamic Law, Islamic Economics, Islamic Broadcasting Communication, Islamic Thought and Philosophy, Islamic History. Authors can submit articles to this journal by reading the template articles first.

Abstract

This research, intended to know how the ethics of learners and factors that affect the success and failure of learners according to Muhammad Salih al-Usaimin. This research is literature study by using text analysis. The results showed that: 1) Ethics of students is sincere intention, eradicate the ignorance, defend of Islam, tolerant, practice science, knowledge, be role models, be patient, respect the clergy, hold fast, thorough and consistent, and careful in understanding Qur'an and Hadith. 2) The factors driving success is piety, diligence, memorization, and mulazamah al-Ulama. While the inhibiting factor is spite, taqwa, knowledge, takabbur, fanatic, appear before mastering the material, and prejudiced bad.

Abstract

The method of internalizing multicultural values in the SMA Negeri 1 Matauli Pandan Tapanuli Tengah dormitory was carried out in various ways, including modeling, habituation, association and rule enforcement and teachers providing space for internalizing multicultural values, integrated with students in SMA dormitories. Negeri 1 Matauli Pandan Tapanuli Tengah. The internalization of multicultural values has gone well, students can live peacefully, have principles, apply a class organization system, democratic values, respect equality or gender, live in justice, tolerate between religions, respect human rights, and strengthen unity.

Abstract

The moral in Islam is the source of his spirit because it is merged in all its rulings, and at all its costs; From doctrine, worship, treatment, contracts, felony, punishment, politics, and economics. Each section of jurisprudence finds the person in charge of morals inherent and rooted in it. Because it is at the heart of the message of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, for worship has purposes that are not disturbed by morals in their essence, and transactions are based on morals. The study aims to emphasize that ethics is an integral part of the system of legal rulings. Legal rulings are a matter of establishing a coherent moral structure that combines consideration and ending. As consideration is orders that included good morals, and the completion of a marriage that included ugly morals, and they are the purposes of which are frank. Including the one that is derived from understanding, contemplation, and consideration, and if we separate them from moral purposes. We find ourselves in front of a legislative building that is limited to achieving the goal this introverted is the way to know the truth of the Sharia, and to understand the essence of the Islamic religion and the achievement of its major intentions.

Abstract

The issue of siri marriage is a conflict of norms, namely the norms of Islamic law, marriage law, human rights, and Maqashid al-Syariah. So that its existence that develops in society there are pros and cons. This research is a literature research using the Maqasid al-Syari'ah approach as an analytical tool. The findings of this study state that siri marriage according to the provisions of Islamic Law is valid, while positive law states that it is invalid (void) or can be canceled. As for human rights, siri marriage is not against the law, because the issue of marriage is a basic right for humans which is a gift from God and it has been regulated in the constitution (1945 Constitution) as well as in Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning human rights. While Maqashid al-Syari'ah views siri marriage as an act that can cause harm, then to prevent it from being registered with the authorities, it is based on the method of al-maslahah al-mursalah and sadd al-zari'ah considering that marriage has a fixed law as a means of realizing benefit

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Cooperative Think Pair Share (TPS) type on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts. This research, which was conducted in the 2017/2018 Academic Year 3 Binjai High School, was a quasi-experimental study, with the design of the pretest and posttest control group design. Based on the results of the study, the average value of the experimental class pretest was 48.03 and the average value of the control class pretest was 46.33. While the average value of the experimental class post test is 54.78 and the average value of the control class posttest is 50.47. There is a significant effect between TPS type cooperative learning on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts which can be seen from the results of simple linear regression test calculations obtained rtable = 0.329, while based on the calculations that have been done obtained r count = 0.71. From the calculation it can be seen that r count r table (0.71 0.329). Thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to find out behavior of religious communities in Pandan District, construction of religious behavior the community in Pandan District,  alumni role in coaching behaviors of musthafawiyah boarding school religious communities in Pandan District and opportunities and challenges facing the musthafawiyah boarding school alumni in religious behavior coaching community in Pandan District. This research uses qualitative research methods with the descriptive approach. Data collection is carried out by means of observation, interview and documentation. As for the data analysis was done with three stages, namely: reduction, the presentation of the data and the withdrawal of the conclusion. The results showed that the majority of people in Pandan District were Muslim, there is an existing Taklim Assembly (exists), the number of adequate mosque every Kelurahan/Desa, and the number of alumni who are many in Pandan. The conclusion is that the challenges facing Musthafawiyah boarding school alumni in the construction of religious behavior in society is the alumni organization management Made that has not been good and society who are less concerned with religious activities

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang mesjid sebagai pemberdayaan ekonomi. Sejarah mencatat bahwa mesjid di zaman Rasulullah berfungsi untuk semua aspek, namun kenyataanya mesjid banyak yang besar tetapi penggunaanya tidak maksimal dan hanya untuk ritual ibadah saja, padahal bisa digunakan untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat secara umum. Kendati secara umum mesjid hanya digunakan sebagai tempat ibadah saja namun beda halnya mesjid Al-Hidayah Padang matinggi. Menariknya mesjid ini memiliki aset-aset yang bisa memberdayakan ekonomi masyrakat setempat. Untuk itu, perlu melihat secara khusus seberapa jauh masjid Al-Hidayah meberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitaif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Setelah melakukan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa mesjid Al-Hidayah memiliki took dan lahan parkir serta MDA yang dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Selain itu, mesjid tersebut juga dikelola dengan manajerial yang baik sehingga penglolaan ziswaf dapat membantu kehidupan masyarakat kurang mampu di sekitarnya.

Abstract

Gambling, which has existed since the existence of human civilization, developed along with human development. It provides insight on men that gambling seemed to be commonplace to be implemented. Lack of attention from law enforcement agencies and government as well as the absence of the intention of the community to deal with gambling as the main reason gambling still exist in people's everyday lives. Gambling harm to the livelihoods and lives of the people , nation and state. Kinds and forms of gambling are now widespread in people's everyday lives . Originally performed clandestinely but not for this current situation that has been done openly or, Even gambling nowadays has become the industry especially in the field of sports.

Abstract

Indonesia which is a multicultural country with various socio-cultural, ethnic, religious, geographical conditions, customs. This fact becomes a distinctive feature of plural pluralism if people are side by side, complement each other, respect each other, and are able to adapt. The development of education in Indonesia cannot be separated from religious leaders who are role models for most Indonesian people. Which makes one of the highlights or views of the results of education such as the Islamic figure KH Abdurahman Wahid. This research is a type of qualitative research that explores data by reviewing the literature. Data analysis used is tracing primary and secondary sources, classifying data based on research formulas, processing data/quoting displaying data, data abstraction, data interpretation, and conclusions. The results of the study show that the paradigm in education is shown from various aspects including in the socio-cultural community, religion and politics. These three things must go hand in hand to realize a successful education in the presence of diversity in Indonesia
