Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Gus Baha's online lecture on the Santri Gayeng YouTube channel, as well as evaluate the response and impact on netizens using Aristotle's rhetorical theory (ethos, patos, and logos). The research method used is qualitative analysis with data collection techniques through content observation, digital documentation, and literature review related to digital da'wah and religious rhetoric. The Santri Gayeng channel was chosen because it has the largest number of followers among other channels that broadcast Gus Baha's lectures, so it is considered representative in describing the pattern of public acceptance. The results of the study show that Gus Baha's online lecture functions as a means of religious refreshment for the digital society, facilitates understanding of the science of the Qur'an and Hadith, and creates a humanistic and inclusive da'wah space. Gus Baha's rhetorical strategy that stands out through the power of ethos (scientific authority), patos (emotional closeness), and logos (rational argumentation) makes his da'wah easily accepted by various circles. The da'wah that he conveyed did not attack other groups with different views, so that it was able to reach audiences across sects and backgrounds. These findings confirm that online lectures are not only a new alternative in religious learning, but also play an important role in strengthening religious moderation in digital public spaces. This study also contributes to the digital da'wah literature by showing how charismatic scholars use new media to build religious communication that is more relevant to the needs of contemporary society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the epistemology of bayani as an approach in understanding religious texts and examine its implications for the urgency of marriage registration in the legal context in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The main source of data for this research is the work of Muhammad Abid al-Jabiri, namely Bunyah al-'Aql al-'Arabi, which is used as a conceptual basis to understand the framework of bayani epistemology. Secondary data sources include scientific journals, books, and laws and regulations relevant to the issue of marriage registration in Indonesia. The analysis is carried out by tracing the structure of bayani thinking that places the text (nash) as the main source of knowledge and makes the authority of the text as the basis for legitimacy in the formation of law. The results of the study show that bayani epistemology emphasizes the importance of understanding religious texts through the principle of correspondence between the meaning of the text and social reality. In the context of marriage, marriage registration is a concrete form of textual authorization efforts to suit modern social and legal needs. Thus, marriage registration is not only administrative, but has epistemological and moral dimensions as a form of responsibility for social clarity and benefits. Therefore, marriage registration is seen as very urgent in order to prevent mistakes, legal uncertainties, and potential disputes in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to examines how the principles of moderation were formulated and practiced within the contexts of education, da'wah, and socio-economic movements in Jakarta and surrounding areas. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis, this study reviews primary and secondary literature, including biographies, institutional records, and scholarly writings related to KH Abdullah Syafi'i. The data were analyzed through thematic categorization, source triangulation, and interpretation of recurring moderation patterns in his thought and activities. The findings reveal that KH Abdullah Syafi'i implemented wasathiyah through three interrelated strategies: integrative education that balances religious and general sciences, community empowerment based on social justice and self-reliance, and institutional development for leadership regeneration. The study contributes practically by offering a contextual model for applying wasathiyah in Islamic education and community development in plural societies. However, the research is limited by its dependence on secondary literature, which may not fully capture the local nuances of KH Abdullah Syafi'i’s practical experiences. Future studies could expand by using field data or oral histories to validate and deepen these findings.

Abstract

This article discusses the urgency of developing an integrative model that connects epistemological aspects and managerial practices in the governance of madrassas and pesantren in response to the challenges of contemporary Islamic education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method through the analysis of books, scientific journals, and Islamic education policy documents. The analysis was carried out in a descriptive-analytical manner to find the relationship between the epistemological dimension and managerial practice. The results show that the integration of three approaches to Islamic epistemology bayani (textual), irfani (spiritual), and burhani (rational) strengthens the conceptual foundations of Islamic education governance. Managerial practices show efforts to adapt to the national curriculum, use of digital technology, and leadership capacity building, although still facing limited resources. The synthesis of these two aspects results in a scientific and contextual model of governance, which balances the values of tradition with the demands of modernizing Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the concept of an Islamic Education curriculum that is oriented to the theoanthropocentric paradigm, which is an approach that combines the dimensions of divinity (theocentric), humanitarian (anthropocentric), and ecological (ecocentric) in an integrated manner. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach and content analysis of Islamic educational literature, curriculum theory, and theoanthropocentric concepts. The data is analyzed interpretively to formulate the principles, structure, and direction of holistic curriculum development. The results of the study show that the theoanthropocentric Islamic Education curriculum requires the integration of worship values, humanitarian ethics, and ecological awareness in every component of the curriculum, including objectives, materials, learning methods, and evaluation. This curriculum places humans as caliphs who are responsible not only to God and others, but also to the preservation of nature. The resulting curriculum model emphasizes contextual learning, hands-on experience, and character building based on ecological spirituality. This study concludes that the theoanthropocentric paradigm offers a relevant conceptual framework to answer the challenges of contemporary Islamic education. The curriculum built through this approach has the potential to create students who are religious, humanist, and ecological, and in line with the goals of Islamic education that are oriented towards sustainability and universal benefit.

Abstract

The research aims to assess the extent to which the strength or weakness of collateral evidence affects the consideration and direction of the judge's decision, as well as how the quality of evidence contributes to the realization of justice and legal certainty. The research uses a normative juridical method with a case study approach to four decisions of the Religious Court in Sleman and Gunungkidul. The analysis is carried out through legal interpretation, doctrinal analysis, and comparative jurisprudence. The results of the study show that when the collateral is proven to be legally valid and supported by authentic documents, the judge tends to grant the execution request in full. On the other hand, if the collateral evidence is weak or has a formal defect, the judge only grants part of the claim or directs the parties to mediate in an effort to achieve substantive justice. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that the effectiveness of proof is a direct indicator of the effectiveness of the law in the practice of sharia economic justice. Strengthening evidence not only improves the legal position of Islamic financial institutions, but also maintains public trust in the sharia-based financial system. Theoretically, this study integrates the theory of proof, legal certainty, and legal effectiveness; Practically, the study recommends standardization of evidentiary procedures and the preparation of consistent jurisprudential guidelines in the assessment of collateral in murabahah cases.

Abstract

This study examines the innovation of Islamic institutions in the management of property transfer with a sociopreneurship approach through a case study on As-Salihin Trustee Berhad in Malaysia. The aim of the research is to understand how social responsibility, ethical finance, and innovation are combined to strengthen sharia-based asset governance, as well as identify adaptable models in the inheritance system in Indonesia. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically. The results of the study show that As-Salihin implements strict sharia governance through the supervision of the Sharia Council, periodic audits, and technological innovations such as the Digital Faraid Calculator. Public literacy programs also increase public awareness of the importance of ethical estate planning. This study concludes that As-Salihin plays a role as a sociopreneur institution that combines profitability, sharia compliance, and social empowerment. These findings offer a transparent and replicable model of inheritance governance in Islamic asset management institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the meaning of tijārah and the concept of trade in the Qur'an through a literary approach (al-manhaj al-adabī) developed by Amīn al-Khūlī. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a library research design, this study analyzes various primary and secondary sources, such as the Qur'an, books of tafsir, scientific books, journals, and related academic works. The data obtained is processed through the stages of reading, selecting, interpreting, and integrating the findings to produce a comprehensive understanding. The results show that the word tijārah in the Qur'an appears eight times, namely in Surah al-Baqarah/2:16 and 282, an-Nisā'/4:29, at-Tawbah/9:24, an-Nūr/24:37, Fāṭir/35:29, aṣ-Ṣaff/61:10, and al-Jumu'ah/62:11. Based on literary analysis, the term tijārah contains two main meanings: first, trading in the economic sense that involves potential profits and losses; second, spiritual commerce that describes the transactional relationship between man and God, which is metaphorical and always results in eternal benefits in the hereafter. Thus, this study confirms that the Qur'an not only contains the concept of trade in a worldly context, but also uses it as an ethical and spiritual symbol to build religious awareness in humans.
