Abstract

Kuala Langsa is a village located in the District of West Langsa, Langsa City, which has a large potential for fishing. One of the activities carried out in fish processing at this time is the processing of milk fish into kerupuk ikan bandeng products which is carried out on a home industry scale. Kerupuk ikan bandeng industry is currently the only fish cracker industry in Langsa City and is start up business that has just been carried out by a home industry in the Langsa village, namely "Poklahsar Bunda Usaha" so that the kerupuk ikan bandeng business has potential great to be able to develop. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Stimulus was designed as a form of response to the problem of the availability of inadequate production facilities and poor business management. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Stimulus is implemented with a pattern of education and training and mentoring. With Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Stimulus (PKMS), now home industri Poklahsar Usaha Bunda already has a unit of flour dough mixer for making milk fish crackers, has a P-IRT certificate, has a more attractive packaging label and is able to expand its network and the marketing area for milkfish crackers.

Abstract

Some of the people of Baroh Village work as fish cultivators, including milkfish, shrimp and crabs. For crab seeds themselves, crab cultivators in Baroh Village still depend on catches from nature. The dependence of crab cultivators on seeds from nature is caused by ignorance in conducting crab hatcheries, both natural and semi-artificial. In addition, there has been no socialization provided by the local fisheries service regarding crab hatchery. So the team provided a solution by providing socialization of natural crab hatchery to crab cultivators. The socialization of the mangrove crab hatchery technique was attended by the wives of the cultivators. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in each activity, this was shown by the questions from the participants. From the results of the socialization, there were several problems for cultivators to carry out hatchery activities, such as the availability of adequate equipment and the availability of natural food as food for crab larvae that are difficult to culture.

Abstract

Perairan payau banyak dimanfaatkan oleh para pembudidaya sebagai media pemeliharaan bagi komoditi kepiting bakau. Kegiatan budidaya yang dilakukan seringkali menghadapi permasalahan yang menyebabkan hasil produksi menjadi tidak optimal. Program pengembangan produk unggulan daerah (PPPUD) mempunyai tujuan yaitu; 1) memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada kelompok pembudidaya kepiting bakau tentang kualitas air dan pakan; 2) meningkatkan nilai tambah dan peluang kerja bagi anggota kelompok budidaya kepiting bakau dan masyarakat pesisir. Metode kegiatan meliputi: 1) sosialisasi dan demonstrasi; 2) pemantauan dan evaluasi meliputi tahap awal, pertengahan dan akhir pelaksanaan program. Faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan budidaya kepiting adalah kualitas air dan ketersediaan pakan. Air merupakan media hidup bagi kepiting di tambak, ditinjau dari segi fisik dan segi kimia serta segi biologis. Air untuk budidaya harus mempunyai kualitas yang baik, yaitu memenuhi berbagai persyaratan dari segi fisika, kimia maupun biologi. Pakan merupakan salah satu syarat yang harus dipenuhi untuk mencapai produksi yang maksimal dalam budidaya kepiting bakau. Pakan tersebut harus ditangani dengan sungguh-sungguh, baik penyediaannya, pengolahannya, kandungan gizinya, maupun pertimbangan sesuai tidaknya dengan pola kebiasaan makan kepiting bakau. Kecamatan Birem Bayeun memiliki wilayah perairan payau yang sangat luas sangat potensial untuk pengembangan usaha budidaya kepiting. Hasil kegiatan PPPUD dapat disimpulkan usaha budidaya kepiting bakau dalam kerambah jaring sangat memungkinkan dikembangkan dalam skala komersial karena dapat dipanen dalam waktu 15-20 hari setelah bibit dimasukan ke dalam kerambah, penggunaan pakan siput dondong dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan kepiting bakau dan dapat menurunkan biaya pakan hingga 11,11%, penerapan sistem bertahap akan menghindarkan peternak kepiting bakau mengalami kerugian akibat harga jual yang rendah

Abstract

Kampung Sungai Kuruk III secara geografis kampung ini berbatasan langsung dengan Selat Malaka. Mata pencaharian utama masyarakatnya sebagian besar sebagai nelayan dan petani. Banyak terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra untuk memenuhi kebutuhaan ekonominya. Permasalahan prioritas yang dihadapi mitra selama ini adalah (1) tingginya pencemaran air sungai oleh limbah rumah tangga, (2) hasil panen ikan bandeng dijual dalam bentuk segar sehingga tidak mempunyai nilai tambah, (3) minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat dalam budidaya sereh dan perlakuan pasca panen dan (4) harga sayuran tinggi karena tergantung pasokan dari luar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui dialog interaktif dan sosialisasi yang melibatkan mitra dan aparat kampung dalam seluruh kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan-pelatihan yang dilakukan. Juga dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan untuk memonitoring dan mengevaluasi perkembangan hasil kegiatan untuk keberlanjutan program PKM yang berdampak terhadap peningkatan ekonomi. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM yang telah dilakukan adalah peserta pelatihan sudah mengerti dan mampu melakukan teknik budidaya sayuran sistem hidroponik, mengetahui dan memahami mengenai jenis sampah sampah organik, meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan membuat olahan bahan makanan berbahan baku ikan bandeng dengan dengan mutu yang lebih baik dari segi rasa dan standar kesehatan, dan peserta pelatihan telah mengetahui teknik budidaya tanaman sereh yang baik dan mampu mengoperasionalkan alat penyulingan minyak sereh sederhana dan melakukan produksi minyak atsiri sereh secara mandiri.

Abstract

The environmental health of residents in Cempaka Putih Timur Subdistrict, Central Jakarta, can be improved by managing a therapeutic garden. Residents are taught the knowledge and understanding to plant therapeutic value plants overlooking their gardens and yards. This community service aims to increase the awareness and knowledge of residents about the importance of managing therapeutic gardens in home yards. Implementing this community service activity begins with the stages of socialization and discussion about overlooking the yard with a therapeutic garden. This community service increased the knowledge and awareness of residents in the Cempaka Putih Timur Subdistrict, Central Jakarta, about the importance of a therapeutic garden. Suggestions for residents in Cempaka Putih Timur Subdistrict, Central Jakarta, to manage their respective yards as therapeutic gardens and increase their knowledge about the use of therapeutic gardens as a place of comfort (healing) in maintaining environmental health.

Abstract

The Independent Learning Campus Independent Program (MBKM) is one of the programs organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Campus Teaching Program is one of the programs in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka Program which aims to teach, assist technology, and assist school administration and teachers. One of the schools targeted for the Teaching Campus program is SD Negeri 173616 Lumbanruhap which is located in Lumbanruhap Village, Habinsaran District, Toba Regency, North Sumatra Province. In this Teaching Campus program, students who are appointed to take part in the program have the responsibility of assisting the school in the teaching process, assisting adaptation to technology, and assisting school administration. In addition, Campus Teaching students have a responsibility to improve student character and increase student interest in learning during this pandemic. The purpose of student participation in the Teaching Campus program is a process of adding relationships, adding experiences outside the world of lectures, developing students' insight, character and soft skills, encouraging and spurring national development by fostering student motivation to participate in development, as well as increasing the role and the real contribution of universities and students in the development of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Independent Teaching Campus Learning Program (MBKM) organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Campus Teaching Program is currently the third batch, which is assigned to assist teachers in teaching, especially improving reading literacy. Because there are still many students who read and do not even know letters. One of the schools where the Teaching Campus is located is SD Negeri 078141 Tetezou which is located in Tetezou Village, Lahusa District, South Nias Regency, Prov. North Sumatra. The goals of the Pioneer Teaching Campus include increasing empathy or social space for existing problems, honing skills for thinking and understanding, developing insight, and soft skills, increasing the role and contribution and dedication of students to national education. The Pioneer Teaching Campus (KMP) is an activity which is carried out for 5 months that supports students in implementing the Printis Teaching Campus program directly into the real world. In this activity students help teachers teach, adapt technology, and help school administration and teachers. And the results of this experience, the author can conclude that this program is very helpful for teachers or schools, where this program is very useful and very beneficial for students.

Abstract

Teaching Campus Program Batch III which is one form of implementation of the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) in the form of teaching assistance to empower students in helping the learning process in elementary schools in various villages/cities, one of which is at SD Negeri 177675 Sigordang which is located at Sigordang, Siantar Narumonda District, Toba Regency, North Sumatra. In this program, the students involved are responsible for assisting the school in the teaching process, assisting with technology adaptation, and assisting with administration. In addition, students have a responsibility to improve student character and increase student interest in learning during this pandemic. The results of this program are as an inculcation of empathy and social sensitivity in students towards the problems of community life around them; hone thinking skills in working together across fields of science and students' various origins in solving problems they face; develop students' insight, character and Soft Skills; encourage and spur national development by fostering community motivation to participate in development; as well as increasing the real role and contribution of universities and students in national development.

Abstract

This activity aims to increase public awareness regarding the importance of managing waste using reduce, reuse and recycle methods. The implementation method starts from the introduction of the concept, the problem solving stage includes identifying possible factors that cause low community participation in waste management, obstacles in realizing increased public awareness in waste management, follow-up plans for identified problems, implementation forms of the solutions offered. and evaluation. The coaching stage is related to the implementation of waste management. The results of the implementation of activities where the community has understood the method and its application in managing waste that is around it according to its type. Increased public knowledge about how to reduce waste and its management to improve environmental quality. Socialization about waste management using reduce, reuse and recycle methods can increase community participation in minimizing the accumulation of waste around the living environment.

Abstract

The purpose of the Community Service Activity is to convey knowledge to the community about alternative uses of vegetables, especially red spinach, the process of processing chicken meat into processed food products in the form of meatballs, explaining the nutritional value of red spinach which is very beneficial for body health and can be a skill for rural communities, especially PKK mothers in providing healthy and nutritious processed food. In Paya Ue Village, Blang Bintang District, Aceh Besar. The Community Service Team consisting of several lecturers assisted by several students conducted a survey and analysis of the situation in the village so that problems in the village could be identified. The problem found is still a lack of understanding of alternative uses of vegetables, especially red spinach (Amaranthus Tricolor), as a vegetable that has high antioxidant value, and can be used in the processing of chicken meat into meatballs. The expected result of the village Community Service activity is that the village community understands the process of processing chicken meat into meatballs with the addition of red spinach extract, and is able to prepare other processed chicken meat so that it has high nutritional value.
