Abstract

This research is entitled Quality of palm oil at PT Wanapotensi Guna Musi Banyuasin. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the quality of water content, impurities and free fatty acids of CPO at PT Wanapotensi Guna? The aim is to determine the quality of water content, impurities and free fatty acids of CPO at PT Wanapotensi Guna. The research method is The method used in this research activity is by direct observation and literature review. The results showed that PT Wanapotensi Guna is an oil palm plantation that produces CPO through seven stages, namely harvesting oil palm fruits, sorting, boiling, separating, lubricating, pressing, and refining. Then, the CPO will be tested for quality based on three parameters, namely, moisture content, impurity content and free fatty acid content. CPO at PT Wanapotensi Guna, obtained an average value for free fatty acids (ALB) of 3.77%, moisture content of 0.12%, and dirt content of 0.19%, the value of the three still meets the SNI CPO quality standards.

Abstract

Education is something that is one of the keys to the success of an individual, group or nation in realizing the welfare and prosperity of its society. The purpose of this article is to find out and understand the role of education in social change. The method used by researchers is a descriptive qualitative research method that takes data from interviews, documentation and field observations. The results of this research are, the role of education in social change in schools can create a lot of interaction and character formation which is very necessary for future generations, and the technological changes that occur can make it easier for the community, teachers and students to search for information by saving a lot of time, Even searching for information can be done anywhere and at any time.

Abstract

The library is a place where a lot of information and knowledge is collected. Inside the library there are also several facilities to support the course of operations carried out as well as the attraction of the library itself so that users come to visit. The purpose of this study is to provide insight into one of the facilities in the library that can attract the attention of users. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection was carried out by visiting the Bina Darma Palembang University library and conducting research at one of the facilities provided by the library, namely coffee corner. The results obtained are that the coffee corner facility in the Bina Darma University Palembang library is not appreciated by users because there is no information or display static that explain whether the facility is for the public or only for librarians. This is due to the limited paper cups provided beside the dispenser. Even though it is located close to the user’s reading table, the user feels hesistant to use this facility.

Abstract

Character education in elementary school children has a very important role in shaping children's personality and morals from an early age. Some of the strategies described include the integration of character values in the curriculum, the development of a supportive school environment, and the active role of teachers and parents in the formation of children's character. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several elementary schools in Indonesia. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and document analysis. The results show that strengthening character education in elementary school children requires close cooperation between schools, families and communities. Factors such as school leadership, school culture and parental involvement are very influential in this process. In conclusion, character education should be an integral part of the basic education system to produce a generation that has strong character, integrity and is able to face future challenges. The implication of this study is the need for improved policies and more effective practices in supporting the strengthening of character education in primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the effect of service quality dimensions on customer satisfaction at Bank Sultra Punggaluku Branch. The population is all customers. The sample was 99 customers. The analysis tool is multiple linear regression. The results show that: (1) Simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence of service quality dimension variables on customer satisfaction. (2) Tangible variables have a positive but insignificant effect on customer satisfaction. (3) The reliability variable has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. The better the reliability, the higher the customer satisfaction (4) The responsiveness variable has a positive but insignificant effect on customer satisfaction. (5) Assurance variable has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Bank Sultra Punggaluku Branch. The better the assurance, the higher the customer satisfaction. (6) The empathy variable has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. The better the empathy, the higher the customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The title of research is a Effect of service quality on competitive advantage and student satisfaction at the Six Six College of Economics Kendari This study aims to determine and explain the effect of service quality on competitive advantage and student satisfaction at the Kendari Six Six School of Economics. The population in this study were all students at the Six Six Kendari College of Economics. The number of samples in this study were 94 students. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results showed that: (1) Service quality had a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage at the Kendari Six Six School of Economics. (2) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction at the Kendari Six Six School of Economics. (3) Competitive advantage has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction at the Six Six College of Economics Kendari. (4) Competitive advantage can mediate the effect of service quality on student satisfaction at the Kendari Six Six College of Economics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that cause Illegal sand mining in Nambo Village, Kendari City and to understand and analyze the law enforcement of illegal sand mining in Nambo Village, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. Literature research method. The result of the research is that the problem of illegal sand mining is caused by various complex factors, ranging from high demand for sand, weak law enforcement, to lack of public awareness and economic alternatives. Effective handling requires comprehensive efforts from various parties, including the government, law enforcement officials, academics, and the community. Enforcement of illegal sand mining is carried out by controlling mining points that do not have licenses. It was observed that people's sand mining was also still closed, triggering community protests. In addition, heavy equipment confiscation and the determination of suspects for illegal mining perpetrators were also carried out. However, this needs to be balanced with the ease of community mining permits and assistance for the community in carrying out mining activities.

Abstract

The authority of Bawaslu as a state institution that has the authority, namely the authority to oversee the stages of organizing general elections and to adjudicate disputes over the general election process must be in accordance with the state constitution in its implementation so as not to cause the actions or decisions issued by Bawaslu to be defective in authority. The research method used is empirical normative legal research with a statutory approach. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of the authority to carry out election supervision has been in accordance with the state constitution and the rules of Election law in this case Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections and technical regulations for the implementation of Bawaslu's authority by carrying out the functions of preventing violations by increasing community / public participation. 2) The implementation of the authority to adjudicate election process disputes consisting of election administrative violations and election process disputes, Bawaslu institutionally has carried out this function optimally.

Abstract

The title of this research is Evaluation of Services at UPT Library ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) Using SWOT Analysis. The purpose of this research is to evaluate services at the ITB Library (Bandung Institute of Technology) using SWOT analysis. Libraries are information centres or information sources that have an important position in an organisation to support the success of the education process. Assessment of library service activities is all efforts, actions or processes to determine the quality of the progress of activities related to the implementation of library service programmes by referring to certain criteria or benchmarks in accordance with the programmes implemented. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The approach used in this article is to reveal the evaluation of existing services at UPT Perpustakaan ITB by using SWOT analysis. strengths and opportunities, but can simultaneously minimise weaknesses, and threats.

Abstract

This research aims to find out Health Education with the Use of Audiovisual Methods on Stunting in Families with Toddlers 2023. The method used is Audio Visual and active discussion on families with toddlers 20 people. Data on knowledge about stunting was collected using pretest and posttest questionnaires. Results: The results obtained at the time of pretest respondents with good knowledge were 50%, sufficient knowledge were 30%, and less knowledge were 20%. At the time of the posttest, 80% of respondents with good knowledge, 20% with sufficient knowledge and 0% with insufficient knowledge. Conclusion: Health education with the use of audiovisual methods can improve the knowledge of families with toddlers about stunting 2023. Future research needs to consider further monitoring and evaluation at a certain period of time to see the memory ability and attitude of mothers who have stunted children.
