Abstract

Research and Community Service (PKM) is one of the manifestations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The purpose of the PKM activity is to foster lecturers in improving their abilities, skills, and independence as well as the existence of Pamulang University as an agent of change in order to provide significant benefits to the community. This time the Unpam Accounting Study Program held PKM to the Mutiara Ibu Nusantara Foundation (Yasmin) in Sawangan Depok. The purpose of the PKM activity at the Mutiara Ibu Nusantara Foundation (Yasmin) is to provide financial literacy training to improve financial knowledge and skills in managing personal finances are very important in everyday life as provisions for their future. The implementation of PKM in the form of presentations of materials, discussions and training at the end of the session to find out how far the material can be absorbed, a question and answer session was held with the students and door prizes were given.

Abstract

The Benoa Class II Navigation District Office is a Technical Implementation Unit that is under and responsible to the Directorate General of Sea Transportation which still implements a manual archive system to store and manage various important administrative documents. However, there are challenges at the Benoa Type A Class II Navigation District office in managing the archive system that needs to be improved immediately. This service activity aims to provide training and socialization related to the importance of using digital archives using storage on laptops or cloud-based systems. The solution to overcome this challenge is to introduce the use of a more sophisticated digital archive management system integrated with computer storage (cloud storage), better data retrieval technology and organize digital archives with a clear and consistent folder system based on specific categories, such as document type, year, or departmental relevance. This work program is expected to help agencies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in document management in the Type A Navigation District Class II Benoa.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era requires the younger generation to have competence not only in technical aspects, but also interpersonal skills such as communication, leadership, and teamwork. This community service activity was carried out at SMK Techno Media, South Tangerang, with the aim of improving students' soft skills and team management through interactive training based on simulations and case studies. The implementation method consists of planning, socialization, training implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The results showed a significant increase in students' communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. This program is expected to be a model for soft skill development that can be replicated in other vocational schools.

Abstract

Abstract

Internal control in receiving and issuing goods procedures is a crucial element in maintaining the efficiency and security of a company's operations. This study was conducted at Bhumimi Kebaya, a traditional Balinese clothing company, to evaluate the effectiveness of employee training programs, the application of information technology in inventory management, and the role of internal audit. The methods used included employee training, the implementation of a technology-based management system, and routine internal audits. The results showed that all activities achieved 100% implementation, with employee training successfully improving competency and consistency in procedure implementation, information technology improving the accuracy and efficiency of record keeping, and internal audits effectively identifying weaknesses and providing recommendations for improvement. High employee participation in training and the use of technology also contributed to the success of the internal control system. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating training, technology, and audits for effective and efficient inventory management at Bhumimi Kebaya.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed business practices, including micro-enterprises. This community service activity aims to enhance the digitalization of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the Imam Bonjol area of Karawaci, involving businesses in the culinary, fashion, and various other sectors. The activity was conducted in three stages: interactive lectures, group discussions, and hands-on practice using digital platforms such as social media. The training materials covered the use of social media for marketing, digital content strategies, technology-based business management, and online transaction security. The expected targets of this activity are: 1) the community will gain knowledge and skills in utilizing Marketplace applications that facilitate online sales; 2) increased productivity of MSMEs; 3) increased efficiency and effectiveness of marketing, shifting from conventional methods to technology-based sales. The results of the community service program demonstrated a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills regarding digital technology, as well as successful implementation of digital marketing strategies and increased sales.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Posyandu Lansia services in improving the quality of life of the elderly in RT06/RW08 Pondok Kelapa. The quality of life of the elderly is measured through the dimensions of physical, psychological, social, and environmental health. The research method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 30 elderly who actively participate in Posyandu Lansia activities in the area became the research sample. Data were collected through the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire before and after participating in the Posyandu service program for a certain period of time. Data analysis was conducted using paired t-test to compare quality of life scores before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the quality of life scores of the elderly after participating in the Elderly Posyandu service, especially in the dimensions of physical and social health. It can be concluded that the Elderly Posyandu service is effective in improving the quality of life of the elderly in RT06/RW08 Pondok Kelapa.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to Increase Knowledge by providing a deep understanding of the application of taxes on BUMDes and the benefits that can be obtained from its use, Develop Practical Skills, Increase Access and application of tax calculations on BUMDes Rangkasbitung Village. This activity will involve three lecturers from the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Pamulang University (UNPAM), who will provide intensive training and mentoring to the management of BUMDes Rangkasbitung Village. The method used in this activity is Group-based, comprehensive socialization, and digital technology-based. Furthermore, the above method is implemented in 4 (four) stages, namely: (1) Socialization, (2) competency improvement, (3) mentoring (4) monitoring and evaluation. The results of this monitoring and evaluation will be used as material for system improvements and adjustments, both from the technical side and from the operational side of BUMDes Rangkasbitung Village.

Abstract

Generation Z is now in the spotlight in various aspects, especially regarding lifestyle and how they manage their finances. Living and growing up in the digital era makes Gen Z highly influenced by technology that simplifies various aspects of life, including how they spend their money. However, many young people still experience difficulties in managing their allowance due to a lack of understanding about priorities and financial planning. This Community Service activity was carried out as a form of social concern for this issue by providing financial literacy education to students at SMP Cita Mulia. The material provided included the difference between needs and wants, as well as how to do simple financial recording. The delivery was conducted using a participatory, learning-by-playing method through a combination of material explanation, question-and-answer sessions, and educational games so that the learning felt more enjoyable. This activity has been proven to increase students’ learning interest and strengthen their understanding of basic concepts of daily financial management and record-keeping. Through this activity, it is expected that students can build wiser and more directed financial habits from an early age.

Abstract

Financial literacy and financial management are essential skills that young generations need to face future economic challenges. However, in many areas, including Kampung Kebon Kopi Mandiri, the level of financial literacy among youths remains relatively low. This condition is reflected in the limited understanding of budget planning, basic transaction recording, and transparent organizational fund management. Such limitations have an impact on the suboptimal administration of youth activities, particularly in terms of accountability and financial planning. The Community Service Program (PMKM) was implemented as an effort to enhance financial literacy and financial management skills among the youths of Kampung Kebon Kopi Mandiri. Through an interactive socialization approach, participants were introduced to fundamental financial concepts, the importance of transaction recording, and effective budgeting methods. The activities were delivered through material presentations, group discussions, and financial recording simulations relevant to the operations of the local youth organization (Karang Taruna).The results of the program indicate an improvement in participants' understanding of orderly and accountable financial management. This program is expected to serve as an initial step for the youths of Kampung Kebon Kopi Mandiri in developing a culture of better and more sustainable financial management.
