Abstract

A majority of the rice milling process in Indonesia has been categorized as small and medium enterprises that rely heavily on human labor during their operations. Such activities put human operators at high ergonomic risks, particularly in relation to the onset of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) due to postural stress, repetitive exertions, and sustained or static exertions. Ignorance of these ergonomic risk factors is likely to cause permanent disabilities in the future. As such, this study aims to identify ergonomics risk factors in the milling rice process using both the subjective method by Nordic Body Map Questionnaire and the observation method through Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). The results show that all milling rice operators reported symptoms in their shoulders and low back pain. The final score of RULA was seven or very high risk, indicating that investigation and changes are required immediately. A redesign of the existing step ladder was proposed, developed by an anthropometry-based design approach. The proposed design is expected could reduce the score to 4 or medium risk level

Abstract

The presence of social media has become an essential part of daily life, including for elderly people. However, the spread of hoaxes and fake news on social media can have serious consequences, particularly for the elderly who may be more vulnerable to misinformation. The article highlights the dangers of hoaxes, particularly in the context of political campaigns, and their potential impact on the elderly's voting choices. The article also discusses the importance of media literacy for the elderly, particularly in the era of digital media where it can be challenging to distinguish between fact and fiction. Through literature studies, the article highlights the real-life implications of hoaxes for the elderly and underscores the need for media literacy to combat hoaxes in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bahwa Sanad keilmuan memiliki peran penting dalam mempertahankan keaslian dan keabsahan ajaran agama. Dengan adanya sanad yang terikat pada ulama atau kiai di pondok pesantren, dapat memastikan bahwa pengetahuan yang diajarkan benar-benar sesuai dengan ajaran agama yang autentik. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis systematic Literature Review (SLR) menunjukkan bahwa tradisi sanad keilmuan di pesantren Tradisi Sanad di Pesantren berpusat pada Kiai sebagai ujung mata rantai ketika mentransfer ilmu melalui kajian kitab tertentu di pesantren dengan metode pembelajaran di pesantren. Sanad Keilmuan memiliki potensi untuk memperkuat ajaran dan mengembangkan pesantren. Membuat seorang kiai dapat mencapai visi pesantren. Melalui tradisi sanad Keilmuan, Pesantren mempunyai peluang besar dalam pengembangan lembaga, karena kemampuan pesantren tidak hanya kepada pembinaan kepribadian seorang santri tetapi mengadakan perubahan dalam tatanan sosial masyarakat, sehingga pengaruhnya tidak saja terdapat kepada santri dan alumni tetapi mencakup juga kehidupan bermasyarakat. Hal ini telah dibuktikan dengan eksisnya pesantren ditengah tantangan pembaharuan dan modernitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kepribadian, Lingkungan Keluarga dan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan terhadap Minat wirausaha Mahasiswa Semester VI Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah Universitas Qomaruddin (UQ) Bungah Gresik. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil kuesioner (angket) dari Mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah Universitas Qomaruddin (UQ) Bungah Gresik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 21 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel Kepribadian, Lingkungan Keluarga, dan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Minat Wirausaha. sedangkan, secara simultan variabel Kepribadian, Lingkungan Keluarga, dan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Minat Wirausaha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, peneliti merekomendasikan peningkatan Lingkungan Keluarga (X2), seperti orang tua memberi dorongan kepada mahasiswa agar minat wirausaha dapat tercapai, mahasiswa harus mampu terus meningkatkan dalam belajar mata kuliah pendidikan kewirausahaan, dan Mahasiswa masih ada beberapa hal yang harus ditingkatkan seperti dalam mengambil keputusan dan kepemimpinan.

Abstract

Raw material inventory is crucial for companies as it relates to the amount of stock and frequency of orders. Silvy Collection SME is an industry engaged in the production of hijabs. This SME faces challenges with the stock of raw materials like fabric, thread, and foam, which often result in surplus or excess. This research aims to optimize the cost of purchasing raw materials such as fabric, thread, and foam in this SME through forecasting for the next 12 periods or one year. Forecasting is conducted using the Time Series method, followed by Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) calculations for the period from September 2022 to August 2023. The results indicate a need for 10 rolls of fabric, 49 rolls of thread, and 3 rolls of foam. The total raw material inventory cost according to the company's policy amounts to IDR 1,282,436,960, while using the EOQ method it is IDR 1,278,175,153. The expenditure incurred by Silvy Collection SME is IDR 450,821,525, whereas using the EOQ method it is IDR 450,738,704. The total raw material inventory cost calculated using the EOQ method can save IDR 82,821 or 0.02% compared to the company's policy.

Abstract

A harmonious family is a stable family with minimal conflict, serving as the first and most important educational institution for children. In shaping a child's personality, the family plays a crucial role as the initial foundation. Therefore, the roles of both parents are important in shaping the direction and tone of the family, especially since children are not yet able to be responsible for themselves and are highly dependent on their parents in various aspects, from physical needs to life perspectives. This study aims to describe the extent to which harmonious and Islamic-character family education plays a role in shaping the personality of young children. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation and interviews in Desa Kramat, Mengare, Gresik, it was found that community awareness of early childhood education is quite good, especially among those with a decent socio-economic status. This indicates that a harmonious family and strong religious education contribute significantly to the formation of a child's personality, particularly in the context of coastal communities like Desa Kramat.

Abstract

The quality of plant growth is significantly influenced by environmental factors, including temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, light intensity, and air quality. Therefore, an agrotechnology approach is required to manage exposure to these environmental factors in accordance with the needs of plant growth processes, which can be achieved through greenhouse technology. To facilitate real-time and remote monitoring and control in the greenhouse farming system, this research involves the design of a temperature and humidity control and monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This study employed a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and a DHT11 sensor to detect the temperature and humidity levels in the greenhouse. The performance test results show that the system works well according to the programming algorithm provided, with an average error rate of 1.2% for the temperature sensor and 1.17% for the humidity sensor. The test results for notification delay time on the Telegram application also meet the standard requirements of Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Networks (TIPHON), with an average delay value of 0.532882 ms

Abstract

This article aims to investigate online retail transactions through the lens of Islamic Sharia law. Utilizing a library-based research approach, this study specifically examines the phenomenon of tiktok online shop. One of the key findings is that such online transactions frequently manifest elements of "ghoror" (ambiguity), leading to uncertainty in contractual agreements and raising concerns of "syubhat" (dubiousness). According to Islamic teachings, as outlined by Prophet Muhammad, lawful trade must occur based on mutual consent or "Antaradhin." Consequently, online businesses failing to meet these criteria are considered impermissible due to the presence of "ghoror." The study emphasizes the need for proper contractual agreements in online transactions to prevent either party from experiencing detriment.

Abstract

This review examines "Sopo Ora Sibuk" (SOS) by Much Khoiri, a guide that presents an innovative approach to leveraging the challenges of busyness as a catalyst for writing inspiration. Spanning 167 pages, Khoiri describes 17 pragmatic strategies for managing to write amidst a hectic schedule. These methods encompass setting clear intentions, employing tools for capturing ideas, and integrating writing with prayer, highlighting the pivotal roles of time management and self-discipline in the creative process. Furthermore, the text delves into the 'maqam' of writing, detailing the various stages of the writer's journey from novice to enlightenment. Khoiri's ability to articulate his insights in accessible language renders the book particularly engaging for a broad audience. While there is potential for further refinement, SOS stands as a compelling resource for those seeking to sustain their writing productivity in the face of daily distractions. It convincingly argues that busyness, when approached correctly, can serve not as an impediment but as a stimulus for growth and creativity in writing.

Abstract

The Pelton turbine is a microhydro device that can convert kinetic energy into electrical energy with the help of water flow. A valve is a piping system that functions to regulate, direct and control the rate of fluid flow by opening and closing the fluid flow. The steps used in this research include design methods, tool testing methods, data collection methods, and data analysis methods. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of varying valve openings of 30°, 60° and 90° on the values of rotational speed, torque, turbine power, generator power and system efficiency from the Pelton turbine simulator. From the test results and data processing, it was found that a 90° valve opening had better rotational speed, torque, turbine power and generator power, as well as system efficiency compared to 30° and 60° valve openings
