Abstract

Communication is a fundamental part of human life and is very important in the family, where parents act as the primary educators. Many parents work, resulting in reduced communication with their children. Communication within the family aims to strengthen social relationships and influence the development of the child's personality. Effective communication includes feelings of togetherness, mutual understanding, and emotional involvement. This research aims to describe the effectiveness of communication in shaping the personality of young children (early childhood) in the village of Kramat, Mengare Bungah, Gresik. Using a qualitative study design through observation and interview, we found that family communication is very important in influencing children's behavior. The more effective the communication between parents and children, the more the child's intrapersonal intelligence develops. Open communication between children and parents builds a positive self-concept in children, making them feel accepted and confident in making their own choices

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to discuss Nidhal Guessoum's study of his thoughts, namely the correlation between Islam and modern science. The explanation is about cosmology, from classical (medieval) Islamic philosophy, scientific interpretation, traditionalism, and modern science from various points of view of Muslim thinkers. This article, which uses a literature study using a qualitative approach, discusses Nidhal Guessoum's thoughts on Islam and modern science. The idea of Islamic/theistic cosmology put forward by Nidhal is the result of his opinion. Cosmology is used as a circle in the frame of monotheism. His opinion on scientific issues such as cosmology cannot be answered by science, but requires a Muslim with his identity to study science while still believing in the existence of God. According to Nidhal, the emphasis of Islamic cosmology should not only be in the form of scientific interpretation or scientific interpretation as has been embodied by some munfasir. Nidhal's alternative as an offer to ideas that apparently contain weaknesses and cannot be developed is the quantum approach. The quantum approach is based on three principles to be an integration of religion with modern science

Abstract

This research focuses on using Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization to optimize active bandpass filters for weak signals. Electroencephalograph signal data obtained from other researchers was used as a case study in this research. This Electroencephalogram signal data, consisting of 1280 signal amplitudes with a sampling frequency of 256 Hz, was characterized before being fed into Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization for optimization. The optimization goal of Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization is to achieve a signal frequency range with a maximum average power value. For bandpass filter design, the frequency range obtained from Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization is used as a reference. The frequency range of 9.9 Hz to 13 Hz and 15.99 Hz to 30 Hz provides optimal conditions. The filter design is based on the frequency range of optimization results and component values R1, R2, and R3 respectively 5.1M?, 10.2 M?, and 1M? with C1=C2=0.01?F for frequencies 9.9 Hz to 13 Hz, and a value of 1 .2M?, 2.4 M?, and 1M? each with C1=C2=0.01?F for frequencies 15.99 Hz to 30 Hz.

Abstract

Inheritance law in Indonesia is divided into three, namely Islamic inheritance law, civil inheritance law and customary inheritance law. area. Each inheritance law is different regarding the heirs, the method of distribution and also the legal basis. Inheritance law is one part of civil law as a whole and a small part of family law. This research examines inheritance according to the Civil Code and Islamic law, the regulations are different between civil inheritance law and Islamic inheritance law. In the distribution according to Islamic inheritance law, the portions are clearly regulated in Surah An-Nissa, whereas according to the Civil Code, the number of heirs is seen. So the distribution of inheritance is different and this is the subject of research. This research is a Normative Juridical approach, namely an approach carried out based on primary law by examining theories, concepts, legal principles and statutory regulations related to research. Research specifications are analytical descriptions.

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman, based on mutual consent and a valid vow, known as ijab and qabul. Ijab is the statement from the guardian, while qabul is the agreement from the groom, witnessed by two witnesses. This study uses a qualitative approach to understand the phenomenon of repeating ijab qabul in Ploso Subdistrict, Jombang Regency. Data collection techniques involve surveys and interviews with both prospective brides and grooms, their families, and the local Head of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). The results of the study show that the repetition of ijab qabul in Ploso is carried out according to KUA procedures, meeting the requirements of Islamic law and positive law. This repetition, although unique, does not invalidate the first ijab qabul but is a form of caution and elimination of doubt. This study provides scientific insights into the phenomenon of repeating ijab qabul, which has not been previously researched, and answers legal questions regarding the validity of such repetition

Abstract

Many academics believe that using questionnaires and interviews simultaneously, or combining statistical analysis and narrative interpretation, can be categorized as mixed method research (MMR). This view is not entirely correct, but it is not entirely wrong either. MMR involves integrating quantitative and qualitative methods in a study, including all related components. However, not all simultaneous uses of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques can be considered MMR, as several key factors, such as timing, weighting, and research objectives, must be taken into account. This article aims to elaborate on various MMR models and their implementation steps, using a literature review method. The study identifies six MMR models: Sequential Explanatory, Sequential Exploratory, Concurrent Triangulation, Concurrent Embedded, Sequential Transformative, and Concurrent Transformative. However, the last two models are not discussed in detail due to their lower popularity. The Sequential Explanatory model integrates quantitative and qualitative methods sequentially, with greater emphasis on quantitative methods to provide additional information. Similarly, the Sequential Exploratory model is conducted sequentially but places more weight on qualitative data to connect findings. The Concurrent Triangulation model integrates both methods simultaneously, with equal weighting to compare data, while the Concurrent Embedded model combines the methods simultaneously but prioritizes one as the primary method and the other as the secondary method, aiming to compare data. Our findings provide practical guidelines for researchers in implementing each MMR model, particularly by highlighting aspects that are often overlooked in previous literature. These guidelines are expected to help researchers select and apply models that align with their research needs.

Abstract

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines remove material from a blank or workpiece using digital controls to produce custom-designed parts. Maintaining their accuracy and precision under challenging conditions after long-term usage is crucial. This study aims to evaluate CNC product quality using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and enhance long-term performance through data-driven approaches. The method of this study focuses on analyzing scrap rate data, employing a u-chart to monitor stability, and applying machine learning regression models—K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) and Random Forest (RF)—to forecast scrap rates. These forecasts help identify when preventive maintenance is necessary, preserving machine precision over time. This study also applied visualization of results with Microsoft Power BI to enhance data interpretation, aiding quick responses to potential problems. Results indicate that RF outperforms KNN in predicting scrap rates. Stacking these models further improves accuracy, offering a more reliable decision-making tool for anticipating quality issues. By detecting anomalies early, manufacturers can implement timely maintenance, minimizing downtime and prolonging CNC machine lifespan. In conclusion, integrating scrap rate analysis, statistical process control, and advanced machine learning techniques can maintain product quality and reduce inaccuracies. Companies should include more proactive maintenance planning by employing better forecasting.
