Abstract

Malnutrition is a public health problem that has a significant impact on the physical and mental development of individuals, especially children. Proper and accurate diagnosis is key in handling and preventing the adverse effects of malnutrition. In this study, the certainty factor (CF) method is used to support the malnutrition diagnosis process. The CF method enables the processing of uncertainty in medical decision-making based on clinical evidence and expert knowledge. The use of the Certainty Factor method on 6 types of diseases namely Overnutrition, Marasmic-Kwashiorkor, Malnutrition, Hunger, Marasmus and Stunting and 42 symptoms. The results of the research conducted obtained that the CF method successfully detected symptoms of overnutrition with a confidence level of 87.52% based on the symptoms tested by the user, namely G004, G024, G028, G036 and G005. This study concludes that the use of the certainty factor method can significantly improve the quality of malnutrition diagnosis. This makes an important contribution to the development of technology-based medical decision support systems, especially in handling complex public health problems such as malnutrition. Further development of this system is expected to be able to expand the scope of application for the diagnosis of other diseases that involve data uncertainty.

Abstract

Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) in Decision Support Systems effectively identifies the optimal alternative by assessing criteria weights and ratings. This study aims to apply the SAW method for selecting scholarship recipients at BAZNAS Tanah Datar Regency, replacing the inefficient manual process. Selection criteria include parental income, number of dependents, academic performance, home ownership, and asset ownership. System development follows a prototyping approach, starting with user requirement identification, creating initial prototypes, and incorporating user feedback. We conducted final testing using Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS), which resulted in a 100% Black Box score for expected functionality and a SUS score of 86, indicating high usability and user acceptance. Results show that the SAW method improves objectivity, reduces manual errors, and speeds up selection, resulting in a fairer, more efficient process. The system will undergo regular maintenance and evaluation to ensure optimal performance.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a severe lung disease that often goes undetected because its symptoms are similar to those of a common cold. In 2022, Indonesia recorded over 700,000 TB cases, with one of the primary challenges being long hospital queues that delayed services. Advances in information technology, particularly in TB diagnosis, have the potential to speed up patient handling. With cases reaching 969,000 and 93,000 deaths annually, an early diagnosis system is essential to minimize delays. Fuzzy logic, an artificial intelligence approach, effectively manages uncertainty and complexity through "IF...THEN" rules and a defuzzification process that produces concrete outcomes. Implementing fuzzy logic is expected to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of TB diagnosis and treatment. Through the analysis, design, and implementation of a fuzzy logic-based TB diagnostic application, the system has delivered results that meet expectations, as verified through black box testing. While the current system rules are effective, adding additional rules could further improve system accuracy and performance, making fuzzy logic a promising solution for enhancing TB diagnosis and management.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang diterapkan pada ekonomi atau perdagangan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan persaingan dengan bisnis lain yang serupa. IPrint Surabaya adalah toko yang bergerak dibidang penjualan alat-alat print. Penjualan pada toko IPrint selain belangsung secara offline, dilakukan dengan cara online. Penjualan online toko IPrint hanya memiliki media sosial Instagram untuk menampilkan atau mempromosikan produk. Sistem transaksi penjualan online dilakukan dengan cara customer melakukan transfer bank untuk pembayaran kemudian melakukan konfirmasi secara manual melalui direct message Whatsapp atau Instagram. Melihat sistem penjualan online pada toko IPrint yang rumit, dibutuhkan sistem informasi penjualan berbasis website untuk memungkinkan pemilik toko dan customer mengakses informasi terkait penjualan dengan mudah. Sistem informasi ini dibangun menggunakan metode prototype, basaha pemrograman PHP, database menggunakan MySQ, dan framework Laravel 10 sebagai software pendukung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan pemilik toko dalam mengelola produk ataupun pesanan dan mempromosikan produk kepada customer. Berdasakan pengujian blackbox sistem informasi berbasis website beroprasi dengan baik serta pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) yang diperoleh dari kuesioner, sistem mendapatkan skor 76,125. Kesimpulan berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut, sistem informasi penjualan berbasis website ini berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat diterima oleh pihak toko IPrint Surabaya.

Abstract

GS is an Indonesian government higher education institution (GHEI) that uses work productivity (WP) and work discipline (WD) applications to calculate monthly performance. However, GS's monthly performance throughout 2023 was below target. The implementation of business intelligence (BI) was considered the best integration solution for data analysis and visualization for GS management. Given the high cost and risk of implementation, this study focuses on IT project management success factors that include organizational culture, knowledge sharing, and open innovation. Data from 94 respondents were processed using PLS-SEM, resulting in two model scenarios: inbound open innovation positively impacts outbound open innovation in one scenario, and vice versa in the other. This research recommends GS to prioritize organizational culture and knowledge sharing in IT project strategy through open innovation. The research model can be used as a reference for further research due to its 87.5% success rate.

Abstract

Effective weed management is crucial in agriculture to improve crop yields and reduce the environmental impact of pesticide use. This research proposes the implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based weed detection system for real-time weed spraying. The system integrates image detection technology with IoT to automatically monitor weeds. Cameras connected through IoT capture images of agricultural areas and perform image processing using image processing. Once the weeds are detected, the system controls a pesticide sprayer with precision, targeting the areas affected by weeds, utilizing ultrasonic and water flow sensors to monitor the pesticide and water volumes used for spraying. The results of the system can be monitored through an application. Testing results show that the pump is capable of spraying based on the weed detection outcome, the system’s End-to-End Process time measured at an average of 33.6 seconds when weeds are detected and 30 seconds when no weeds are detected.

Abstract

In 2023, Indonesia produced 38 million tons of waste, 51% of which was household waste. One effort to address the waste problem is encouraging the public to sort recyclable waste (SDU) to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. The Duitin application is a mobile-based app that helps tackle waste issues through the collection of SDU sorted by households. This application is expected to play a significant role in supporting service operations. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the intention to use the Duitin application. The model used in this research is adopted from the TAM, UTAUT, and ISSM frameworks. Previous studies were referenced to identify relevant variables, which were then incorporated into a questionnaire distributed through social media. Data analysis was conducted using the PLS-SEM technique on 244 respondent datasets. The results of the study revealed that two hypotheses were accepted, namely perceived usefulness and satisfaction, while four hypotheses were rejected: subjective norm, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating condition. This study serves as a reference for future research aimed at understanding factors influencing the adoption of smart waste management applications in the context of household recyclable waste in Indonesia.

Abstract

Learning management systems (LMS) play a critical role in modern education by facilitating communication and access to learning resources for educators and students. However, these systems are susceptible to significant IT security threats due to the sensitive nature of the data they manage, including personal information and instructional materials. This study focuses on the Kemenkumham e-learning platform used by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Indonesia for distance learning and online training. Despite its benefits, the platform faces various IT security risks that could compromise its functionality and data integrity. Using the NIST SP 800-30 Revision 1 framework, this research identifies four primary operational risks—data security, password vulnerabilities, process inefficiencies, and exposure to cyberattacks—and analyzes their impact. The study then proposes comprehensive mitigation strategies to address these risks. The findings provide actionable recommendations for strengthening IT security and ensuring the continuity of business processes for Kemenkumham e-learning. These results highlight the importance of robust risk management in protecting sensitive information and enhancing the resilience of e-learning systems

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the need for implementation of artificial intelligence in education at Vocational High School. Through technologies development and changing demands in industry, AI implementation in vocational high schools can be a solution to improve quality of education, prepare students with relevant skills, create more effective and personalized learning experience. This research uses quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students to identify perceptions and readiness towards the use of AI technology in learning process. The indicators analyzed include understanding of AI, perception of AI’s potential in education, readiness of technological infrastructure, challenges in AI implementation, readiness of human resources. The results shows that although there is great interest and potential to adopt AI in vocational high schools, there are challenges ahead. This article is expected to provide recommendations in planning an appropriate implementation of AI technology to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Information technology plays a vital role in achieving corporate objectives, especially for organizations that rely on data integration through technology. Technology-based information systems assist in processing data into high-quality information. To support this, management must maintain the reliability of information, one way being the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). ERP helps enhance the reliability of information for decision-making. This study analyzes the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) in the implementation of ERP at PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (PT Askrindo). The primary focus is to identify relevant CSFs to ensure that ERP implementation aligns with the targets of corporate management and the Insurance Holding Company. This supports the shared information technology services initiative toward a single multi-tenant platform within the Insurance Holding environment. The research methods include a case study, literature review, categorization, and qualitative interviews. The results show that PT Askrindo must ensure the success of key factors at various stages of ERP implementation to achieve its goals
