Abstract

The One Map Policy (OMP) is the government's strategic direction in fulfilling one map that refers to one geospatial reference in Indonesia. As a decision supporter for resolving land use discrepancies, the Information System for Indicative Maps of Overlapping Thematic Geospatial Information (SIPITTI) can accelerate the implementation of the OMP. This research aims to evaluate the usability of SIPITTI to support the resolution of overlapping land use in OMP and then design improvements to SIPITTI. This research was conducted using mixed methods, where quantitative data collection was carried out through questionnaires using the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) and System Usability Scale (SUS). The qualitative data collection was done through usability testing. Nine respondents to the questionnaire and usability testing were involved in collecting initial needs data, which became input for the design. The results of the data analysis obtained a design that applied the principles of Shneiderman's Eight Golden Rules of Interface Design. Prototype improvements were evaluated through two techniques: usability testing and questionnaires:PSSUQ and SUS. The evaluation results using PSSUQ obtained an average value above the standard, namely overall (2.22), system usefulness (2.13), information quality (2.31), and interface quality (2.11). The SUS evaluation results amounted to 74; the value is included in the B- or Good category.

Abstract

Digital evidence in digital forensic investigations may contain sensitive information which includes private data, however none of the digital forensic standards used in Indonesia focuses on the ethical data handling aspect. Concerning the recent release of Indonesia’s Private Data Protection law, this research aims to find clauses in the law that has not been addressed in the digital forensic standards. This research is conducted by correlating Indonesia’s Private Data Protection law against digital forensic standards used in Indonesia to find how Indonesia’s Private Data Protection law has been complied with the usage of digital forensic standards. As of now, only half of the existing digital forensic standards used in Indonesia has explicitly complied with Indonesia’s Private Data Protection law and there are room for improvement to enhance digital forensic ethical data handling in Indonesia.

Abstract

Software engineering has significantly impacted various fields, including business, yet there had been no comprehensive bibliometric analysis of its interaction with business until this study. This research filled the gap by examining key contributors, affiliations, countries, and leading journals using a bibliometric analysis of 100 Scopus-indexed documents. The study revealed a peak in publications in 2008 with 11 documents, highlighting Gruhn, V. from Universität Leipzig, Germany, as the most prolific author. Both Germany and the United States were prominent, contributing 21 documents each. "Lecture Notes in Computer Science," along with its subseries, emerged as the most cited reference. The keyword analysis identified four main clusters focusing on the integration of IT, practical business applications, the role of education, and project management. The study recommends expanding research into Agile methodologies, UX Design, and technologies like AI, Cloud Computing, and IoT, providing insights into integrating software engineering into business strategies for future challenges.

Abstract

The XYZ Climatology Station faces challenges in improving the accuracy of decadal rainfall forecasts, with an average achievement of 57.4% in 2022 and 58.8% in 2023, below the organizational performance target of 70% accuracy as set in its strategic objectives. This study aims to develop machine learning-based predictive models for 16 climate zones to enhance forecast accuracy. Five regression algorithms—Multiple Linear Regression, Support Vector Regression, Extra Trees Regression, Random Forest Regression, and Decision Tree Regression—were tested under two scenarios: input variable variations (VR) and time series data length (TS). Results showed that the VR scenario increased average accuracy to 71.7% (2022) and 69.4% (2023), while the TS scenario achieved 73.1% (2022) and 72.6% (2023). Support Vector Regression and Extra Trees Regression demonstrated the best performance in most zones. These models are expected to be operationalized to improve climatological information services and better meet public and stakeholder needs.
