Abstract

This study aims to improve the mastery of concepts in protist material in class X SMA Muhammadiyah Sekayu through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) models. The sample of research was grade X high school students of Muhammadiyah Sekayu, consisting of 13 students: 6 female and 7 male students. It is classroom action research with three cycles. The stages carried out in the study were (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The achievement indicator is 75% in classical scale. The results showed that the the mastery of students’ concepts in classical are 0% in the first cycle, 30% in the second cycle, and 75% in the third cycle. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model can improve the mastery of students’ concepts in the protist material in class X SMA Muhammadiyah Sekayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki penguasaan konsep pada materi Protista di kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Sekayu melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Sekayu yang berjumlah 13 siswa, terdiri dari 6 siswa perempuan dan 7 siswa laki-laki. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tiga siklus. Tahapan yang dilaksanakan dalam penelitian meliputi (1) Perencanaan; (2) Pelaksanaan; (3) Pengamatan; (4) Refleksi. Capaian indikator keberhasilan penelitian adalah perolehan nilai hasil tes penguasaan konsep secara klasikal 75%. Hasil penguasaan konsep siswa secara klasikal yaitu 0% pada siklus pertama, 30% pada siklus kedua, dan 75% pada siklus ketiga. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan adanya penerapan model PBL dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi Protista di kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Sekayu. Abstract

The ability of students to understand the biological material conveyed by the teacher is certainly different from each other, therefore we need the right learning model and media to be used in the learning process. The discussion method commonly used by teachers has not been able to improve learning outcomes to the fullest. This is evidenced by the low participation of students in group discussions. Discussion is dominated by only certain students. This affects the cognitive learning outcomes of participants, it can be seen that the results of the correct answers to the questions about Genetic Material at the first try out of UN and USBN in 2018 were 40.28%, the second try out was 64.18% and USBN 2018 was 40.12%. still far below the KKM for 3.3 KD, which is 75. One solution that can be done immediately is through PTK, by implementing NHT type cooperative learning assisted by the Moodle application to improve cognitif learning achievement of students. The research instrument used was a test with multiple choice questions in two cycles. The results of the first cycle test showed an increase in classical completeness from the pre-action results which was 20.83%, increasing to 70.83%. In cycle 2 classical completeness increased to 78.26% and has reached the limit specified in the Action Success Index of 75%. Kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami materi biologi yang disampaikan oleh guru tentu berbeda satu sama lain, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan model dan media pembelajaran yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode diskusi yang biasa digunakan guru belum mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar secara maksimal. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rendahnya partisipasi peserta didik dalam melakukan diskusi kelompok. Diskusi didominasi oleh peserta didik tertentu saja. Hal ini berimbas kepada hasil belajar kognitif peserta,terlihat bahwa hasil jawaban benar pada soal tentang Materi Genetik pada try out pertama UN dan USBN tahun 2018 sebesar 40,28%, try out kedua sebesar 64,18% dan USBN 2018 sebesar 40,12% masih jauh dibawah KKM untuk KD 3.3 yakni 75. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan segera adalah melalui PTK, dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan aplikasi Moodle untuk meningkat hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes dengan bentuk soal pilihan ganda, dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil tes siklus 1 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal dari hasil pratindakan yakni 20,83% meningkat menjadi 70,83%. Pada siklus 2 ketuntasan klasikal meningkat menjadi 78,26% dan telah mencapai batas yang ditentukan dalam Indeks Keberhasilan Tindakan yakni 75%. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between school climate and teacher’s kognitive abilities with motivational in Lebak sectoral Biological teacher Banten Province. Method used in this research was quantitative descriptive method with correlational approach. The subject of this study was SMAN Biology teacher Lebak regency of Banten Province with simple random sampling technique. The data was collected using the school climate instrument, teacher cognitive testing test and teacher motivation instrument with a sample of 60 Biology teachers.The results showed that, 1) There significant correlation between school climate with motivational of Lebak sectoral Biological teacher Banten Province. From the above research, it can be concluded that school climate are needed to improve teachers' motivation. Keywords: School climate, motivation Biology teachers. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim sekolah dengan motivasi guru Biologi di Kabupaten Lebak Provinsi Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Biologi SMA Negeri Kabupaten Lebak Provinsi Banten dengan teknik pengambilan simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Iklim sekolah, dan kuesioner Motivasi guru dengan sampel sebanyak 60 guru Biologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen non tes. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji model regresi (α= 0,05) dan uji koefisien korelasi dengan uji Pearson Product Moment (α= 0,05). Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara Iklim sekolah dengan motivasi guru Biologi. Dari hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa iklim sekolah yang kondusif sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi guru. Kata kunci: Iklim sekolah dan Motivasi guru Biologi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the application of Group Investigation (GI) learning model Based on Mind Mapping media can improve creativities of the student of SMP Wisata Sanur. The research type is Pre-Exprimental Design with One-group Pretest-Postest Designs research design conducted at SMP Wisata Sanur from April to May. Data collection using creativity assessment rubrics with 7 aspects. The result showed that there was an increase of creativity score from 75,3 to 169,2 with significance level of each aspect of creativity, ie Design aspect (p = 0,017), Color (p = 0,017), Idea and Context (p = 0,017), Kata Key (p = 0.018), Combining ideas (p = 0.018), Hierarchy Level (p = 0.017), Presentation Concept (p = 0.017). Based on the data obtained after being tested with Wilcoxon Match Pairs there was a significant difference (p = 0,018> 0,05) on student creativity in making Mind Mapping before and after apply the learning model. The conclusion of this research is the application of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation based on Mind Mapping has an effect on to the creativity of junior high school students of Sanur Tourism. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) Berbasis media Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SMP Kerta Wisata Sanur. Jenis penelitian adalah Pre-Exprimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian One-group Pretest-Postest Designs yang dilaksanakan di SMP Wisata Sanur . Data didapatkan menggunakan rubrik penilaian kreativitas dengan 7 aspek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan jumlah skor kreativitas dari 75,3 menjadi 169,2 dengan taraf signifikansi masing-masing aspek kreativitas yaitu aspek Rancangan (p=0,017), Warna (p=0,017), Ide dan Konteks (p=0,017), Kata Kunci (p=0,018), Menggabungkan ide-ide (p=0,018), Tingkat Hirarki (p=0,017), Konsep Presentasi (p=0,017). Hasil uji dengan Wilcoxon Match Pairs terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (p= 0,018 > 0,05) pada kreativitas siswa dalam membuat Mind Mapping sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation berbasis Mind Mapping mampu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SMP Wisata Sanur. Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of Interactive PowerPoints of biodiversity material. This research method is the development of Research and Development (R & D) using Tessmer development model with the stages of Self Evaluation, Exspert Reviews, One to One, Small Group and Field Test. Data collection were in the form of interviews and questionnaires. Subjects in this study were 11th grade of SMA Nurul Yaqin. The analysis of the results of the validation sheet and student questionnaire in this study was using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. Validation results are categorized as very feasible, the feasibility of Interactive Powerpoint teaching materials is drawn from media experts, 46 values ​​show X> 45 including very feasible categories, material experts obtained 37 which shows X> 36 categorical very feasible, language validation obtained a value of 33 indicating X> 33 which is in the very decent category. The practice of interactive powerpoint teaching materials is categorized as very practical in the learning process, this can be seen through trying One to one and Small groups by obtaining an X value greater than 42 with a very practical category. The results of the potential effects on the ability to understand student concepts in the learning process are seen as an average value of 39.31% of the learning outcomes in the medium category. For the high category, the average N-Gain calculation is 63. 60% includes a very good category. Keywords: Teaching materials, biodiversity, interactive powerpoints Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa Powerpoint Interaktif materi kenakaragaman hayati. Metode penelitian inipengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengunakan model pengembangan Tessmer dengan tahapan Self Evaluation, Exspert Reviews, One to One, Small Group dan Field Test. Pengumpulan data berupa lembar angket, wawancara dan Kuisioner. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas XI SMA Nurul Yaqin. Analisis hasil lembar validasi dan angket siswa pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian validasi dikategorikan sangat layak, kelayakan bahan ajar Powerpoint Interaktif tergambar dari ahli media diperoleh nilai 46 yang menunjukan nilai X > 45 termasuk kategori sangat layak, ahli materi diperoleh 37 yang menunjukan X > 36 kategorik sangat layak, validasi bahasa diperoleh nilai 33 yang menunjukan X>33 yang termasuk kategori sangat layak.Kepraktisan bahan ajar powerpoint interaktif dikategorikan sangat praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, hal ini dapat dilihat melaluiui coba One to one dan Small group dengan memperoleh nilai X lebih besar dari pada nilai 42 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil efek potensial terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dilihat nilai rata-rata 39.31% hasil belajar dengan kategori sedang. Abstract

The problem in this study is that there is no teaching material that is associated with the hadith Qur’an in the school that has Islamic nuances, the teaching material used more material and a few of picture as help from the materials, study aims develop magazine learning media feasibility, attractiveness in the cognitive domain of student. This type of research is a development research (Research and Development), using the development procedure of Borg ang Gall up to step 7, the data obtained will be analyzed with deccriptive percentages and qualitative data. The result of the study showed that the hadist learning media based on the biological magazine of the Qur’an was very suitable to used as ,learning meddia for class X students. This can be seen from the percentage of media expert validation of 82,8%, material expert validation 87,5%, linguits by 83%, and religious experts by 87,5%, teacher responses by 84,56%, and students’ responses by 81,8%. From the Reselt of study it can be concluded that the biological learning media based on the hadith Qur’an with viral material is very feasible to be used as medic learning in SMA/MA Key Words: Biology, Bio Magazine, Hadith Qur'an Abstrak : Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah belum adanya bahan ajar yang berkaitan dengan Al-Qur’an hadist disekolah yang buansa islam. Bahan ajar yang digunakan lebih banyak menyajikan berupa materi dan minim gambar sebagai pembantu dari materi tersebut. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran majalah, kelayakan, kemenarikan dalam ranah kognitif peserta didik Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Reseaarch and Developmwnt) dengan menggunakan prosedur pengembangan Borg and Gall sampai dengan langkah 7, data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan deksriptif persentase dan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran majalah biologi berbasis Alquran hadist sangat layak digunakan media pembelajaran peerta didik kelas X. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil persentase validasi ahli media sebesar 82,8%, validasi ahli materi sebesar 90,45%, ahli bahasa diperoleh 83%, ahli agama sebesar 87,5%, respon pendidik sebesar 84,56%, meunjukkan kriteria sangat menarik, dan respn peserta didik sebesar 81,8%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajarn majalah biologi berbasis Alquran hadist dengan materi virus sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMA/MA di Lampung. Abstract

Research has been carried out to find out the validity of the results of the development of environmental science learning devices with inquiry strategies and test instruments of critical thinking skills, creative thinking and student cognitive learning outcomes. The development carried out refers to the step of developing modified 4D Tiagarajan. Device validation is done through validation of experts and experts and partner lecturers who are focused on the construct validation test process and the contents of the device made. Validation data was obtained using a device assessment sheet using categories 1-4. Other data obtained through field trials with small group tests, as well as data readability by students obtained using observation sheets. Validated devices are: 1) Syllabus, 2) RPP, 3) Student Worksheet (LKM), and 4) Test instruments. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The research results obtained are 1) learning devices, namely: syllabus, RPP, MFI and test instruments declared valid even though after improvement, 2) instrument readability test according to students is good, but there are those who respond still need to consider the problem of allocating time needed to work the instrument tests, and 3) the results of testing the test instruments meet the instrument requirements including validity, reliability and difficulty level are appropriate and good and very good categories. The final result of this research is to produce a valid learning device development product. Key words: learning devices, critical thinking, creative thinking and cognitive learning results. Abstrak. Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui validitas hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Lingkungan berstrategi inkuiri dan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif serta hasil belajar kognitf mahasiswa. Pengembangan yang dilakukan mengacu pada langkah pengembangan 4D Tiagarajan termodifikasi. Validasi perangkat dilakukan melalui validasi pakar dan ahli serta dosen mitra yang difokuskan pada proses uji validasi konstruks dan isi perangkat yang dibuat. Data validasi diperoleh menggunakan lembar penilaian perangkat menggunakan kategori 1-4. Data lainnya diperoleh melalui uji coba lapangan dengan uji kelompok kecil, serta data keterbacaan oleh mahasiswa diperoleh menggunakan lembar observasi. Perangkat yang divalidasi adalah:1) Silabus, 2) RPP, 3) LKM, dan 4) Instrumen tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, adalah 1) perangkat pembelajaran yaitu: silabus, RPP, LKM dan instrument tes dinyatakan valid meskipun setelah melalui perbaikan, 2) uji keterbacaan instrumen menurut mahasiswa sudah baik, namun ada yang menanggapi masih perlu pertimbangan masalah alokasi kebutuhan waktu mengerjakan instrument tes, dan 3) hasil uji coba instrumen tes memenuhi syarat instrumen meliputi validitas, reabilitas dan tingkat kesukaran sudah sesuai dan kategori baik dan sangat baik. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid. Abstract

The development of additional learning resources in the form of biology pocketbook based on mind map (Biomap) was carried out by referring to the ADDIE development model, then being tested for its feasibility by media experts, materials, languages, teachers and students. The method of data collection uses a feasibility questionnaire adapted from the Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan or BSNP. Data analysis was carried out by changing the total score of the test results in the form of percentages then converted into qualitative data using guidelines for interpreting product feasibility. The data obtained is used as a reference for product improvement. The results of the assessment conducted by linguists obtained an average score of 87.5%, media experts amounted to 86.1%, material experts amounted to 87.55%, trials to teachers amounted to 82.5%, trials for small group students amounted to 86,17% and a large group of 89%. The overall average score is 86.47%. Based on the interpretation of scores, the products developed obtained a category very feasible to use as an additional learning resource. Abstrak. : Pengembangan sumber belajar tambahan berupa buku saku biologi berbasis mind map (Biomap) dilakukan dengan merujuk model pengembangan ADDIE, selanjutnya diuji kelayakannya oleh para ahli media, materi, bahasa, guru serta siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan buku saku biologi berbasis mind map (BIOMAP) bahan belajar mandiri berdasarkan pandangan ahli. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket uji kelayakan yang diadaptasi dari Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan atau BSNP. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengubah skor total hasil uji ke dalam bentuk persentase selanjutnya diubah menjadi data kualitatif menggunakan pedoman interpretasi kelayakan produk. Data yang diperoleh digunakan sebagai rujukan untuk perbaikan produk. Hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh ahli bahasa memperoleh skor rerata 87,5%, ahli media sebesar 86,1%, ahli materi sebesar 87,55%, uji coba kepada guru sebesar 82,5%, uji coba kepada peserta didik kelompok kecil sebesar 86,17% dan kelompok besar sebesar 89%. Rerata skor secara keseluruhan sebesar 86,47%. Berdasarkan interpretasi skor, produk yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar pendukung.

Abstract

Learning Media Development of Problem Based Instruction Method Toward Student Outcome and The Skill’s of Writing Scientific Report Teachers can develop learning tools according to their needs in Biology lessons. This study aims to determine the results of needs analysis, validation analysis, usefulness to improve the ability to write reports, analysis of the effectiveness of the development of the device. This research is a development research using quantitative and qualitative methods. Previously, researchers took data analysis of teacher needs, more than 60% still did not use the device to the fullest, 75% of teachers had not yet made an assessment rubric. The learning kit was declared valid with a presentation of 89.6%. And there is an increase in the learning outcomes of students in the control and experimental classes because t-count <-table = -20.96 <-1.67 at SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda. Guru dapat mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam pelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil analisis kebutuhan , analisis validasi, ketermanfaatan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis laporan, analisis keefektifan pengembangan perangkat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sebelumnya peneliti mengambil data analisis kebutuhan guru, lebih dari 60 % masih belum menggunakan perangkat secara maksimal, guru 75 % belum membuat rubrik penilaian. Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan valid dengan presentasi 89,6 %. Dan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol dan eksperimen karena thitung <-ttabel = -20,96 <-1,67 di SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the PQ4R Learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) on the learning outcomes of Integrated Science in Islamic Education in Biology learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study using the Posttest-Only Control Design design while data collection is done using a test instrument. The sample of the study was class VIII C (experimental class) totaling 28 students and class VIII D (control class) totaling 28 students. The research data obtained the highest score in the experimental class was 92 and the lowest score was 44 with an average of 72, while in the control class the highest score was 80 and the lowest score was 40 with an average of 63.57. Based on the calculation using the t test obtained thitung = 2.77 and at a significant level of 5% obtained ttable = 2.01 and a significance level of 1% t table = 2.68 thus 2.01 <2.77> 2.68. So that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on the results of Integrated Science learning of students who use the PQ4R learning strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Tujuan Penelitian ini adaah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi Pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) terhadap hasil belajar IPA Terpadu di Madrasah Tsanawiyah pada pembelajaran Biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Design sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII C (kelas eksperimen) berjumlah 28 orang siswa dan siswa kelas VIII D (kelas kontrol) berjumlah 28 orang siswa. Data hasil penelitian di peroleh skor tertinggi di kelas eksperimen adalah 92 dan skor terendah 44 dengan rata-rata 72, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh skor tertinggi 80 dan skor terendah 40 dengan rata-rata 63,57. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung= 2,77 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh ttabel = 2,01 dan taraf signifikansi 1% ttabel= 2,68 dengan demikian Sehingga Ha diterima, artinya bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA Terpadu siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) di Madrasah Tsanawiyah.
