Abstract

Air pollution is a problem that occurs in the surrounding environment by human activities. One of the pollutants that can enter the heavy metal environment. Heavy metals in the surrounding environment have the potential to be absorbed by living things, one of which is spinach plants. The objectives of this study are: (1) Future planning of vitamin C levels in kale plants planted in Cd heavy metal contaminated media, (2) determining the appropriate harvesting time to increase vitamin C levels in air kale plants planted in Cd contaminated media , and (3) making LKPS high school biology learning class X in Environmental Pollution material. The design of this study uses RAK (Randomized Group Design). The research sample was water spinach plants contaminated with heavy metals Cd. The treatment in this study is the variation of the harvest period. Data were analyzed with Anava One Path. The results of the study concluded how there was a harvest period of vitamin C levels in the stems and leaves. The 15-day harvest period increases the levels of vitamin C with the lowest absorption of heavy metal Cd which is equal to 0.03 ppm. The results of the study can be used to make LKPS class X biology learning on Environmental Pollution material. Keywords: Harvest period, Cd heavy metals, vitamin C levels, LKPS Abstrak Pencemaran air merupakan permasalahan yang kerap kali terjadi di lingkungan sekitar oleh aktivitas manusia. Salah satu bahan pencemar yang dapat masuk ke dalam lingkungan adalah logam berat. Logam berat di lingkungan sekitar memiliki potensi untuk terserap oleh makhluk hidup, salah satunya adalah tanaman kangkung air. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) mengidentifikasi ada tidaknya pengaruh masa panen terhadap kadar vitamin C pada tanaman kangkung air yang ditanam pada media tercemar logam berat Cd, (2) menentukan masa panen yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kadar vitamin C pada tanaman kangkung air yang ditanam pada media tercemar Cd, dan (3) membuat Lembar Kerja Praktikum Siswa (LKPS) pembelajaran biologi SMA kelas X materi Pencemaran Lingkungan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok). Sampel penelitian ini adalah tanaman kangkung air dicemari logam berat Cd. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini adalah variasi masa panen. Data dianalisis dengan Anava Satu Jalur. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh masa panen terhadap kadar vitamin C pada bagian batang dan daun. Masa panen 15 hari mengalami kenaikan kadar vitamin C dengan serapan logam berat Cd terendah yaitu sebesar 0,03 ppm. Hasil penelitian dapat digunakan pembuatan LKPS pembelajaran biologi SMA kelas X pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan. Kata Kunci : Masa panen, Logam berat Cd, Kadar vitamin C, LKPS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning Teams Games Tournament (TGT) on the learning outcomes of biology students in class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batang Hari. This research is a true experiment with a post-test only control design. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batang Hari. In the experimental class given the learning treatment with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, while in the control class without the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. To test the difference in the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class on the cognitive aspects, the t-test, normal distributed data, and homogeneous variance were used. From statistical calculations it can be seen that the average value of student learning outcomes in biology class X MIA students in the experimental class has an effect compared to the acquisition of grades in the control class, this is due to the treatment given. In the cognitive aspect that the experimental class (84.90) has an effect compared to the control class (82.35). The average affective aspect, student learning outcomes of the experimental class (85.37) have an effect on the control class (84.68). Based on the t-test on cognitive aspects, it was obtained tcount of 1.87, affective of 1.67. At the 95% confidence level, a table of 2.01 is obtained so that the hypothesis is accepted for both aspects. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the effect of the application of the Teams Games Tournament learning model to the learning outcomes of biology students in class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batang Hari. Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batang Hari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah True eksperimen dengan desain post-test only control. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batang Hari. Pada kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournamen (TGT), sedangkan pada kelas kontrol tanpa model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada aspek kognitif digunakan uji-t, data terdistribusi normal, dan bervarian homogen. Dari perhitungan statistik dapat dilihat bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi siswa kelas X MIA pada kelas eksperimen berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan perolehan nilai pada kelas kontrol, hal ini disebabkan dari perlakuan yang diberikan. Pada aspek kognitif bahwa kelas eksperimen (84,90) berpengaruh dibandingkan untuk kelas kontrol (82,35). Rata-rata aspek afektif, hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen (85,37) berpengaruh dari pada kelas kontrol (84,68). Berdasarkan uji-t pada aspek kognitif diperoleh thitung sebesar 1,87, afektif sebesar 1,67. Pada taraf kepercayaan 95% diperoleh ttabel sebesar 2,01sehingga hipotesis diterima untuk kedua aspek tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Batang Hari. Abstract

This research aimed to develop a manual book for the implementation of a biology scientific camp to develop the character education of biology students. This book was developed with an outdoor approach. This research uses the ADDIE development model which includes the Analysis, Define, Design, Implementation and Evaluation. This research data were obtained from the results of the validation of material experts and media experts as well as the results of small group trials. The results showed the results of the material expert validation obtained a score of 92% and included in category of highly validated media expert validation obtained a score of 91% included in very valid category. The results of small group trials showed a score of 95% included in very good category, while the results of the large group trial obtained a score of 92% and included in very good category. The results showed that the manual book of Biology Scientific Camp that was developed was appropriate to be used as the development of character education based on an outdoor approach. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku panduan (manual book) pelaksanaan kemah ilmiah biologi (biology scientific camp) sebagai upaya untuk mengembangkan pendidikan karakter mahasiswa biologi. Buku ini dikembangkan dengan pendekatan outdoor approach. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Define, Design, Implementation dan Evaluation. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media serta hasil ujicoba kelompok kecil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor 92% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid validasi ahli media diperoleh skor 91% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Hasil ujicoba kelompok kecil menunjukkan skor 95% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan hasil ujicoba kelompok besar diperoleh skor 92% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manual book Biology Scientific Camp yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai pengembangan pendidikan karakter berbasis outdoor approach. Abstract

Teachers as an educator play a very important role in the world of education. One way to improve the quality of education in schools is to improve learning qualities in the classroom. In creating these learning activities it is necessary to have an appropriate learning device for the teachers in order to achieve the ultimate goal to be achieved. Based on the reality in the field, not all biology teachers can compile their own learning tools in the discussion of material about the human reproductive system. PQ4R learning model is a learning effort that can foster motivation in students to learn a subject matter and help students to understand and remember the material they are learning and by using concept mapping can be a learning tool to help improve students' memory in learning. This type of research is development research with a combination of research methods (mixed methods), a method that combines quantitative research methods and qualitative methods. In this study, using validation sheets, questionnaires and achievement test.The results of the validation by Prof. Dr. Endang Widi Winarni, M.Pd from Bengkulu University has a valid criterion with a value of 76%. The trial was conducted on students of pharmacy class X-3 at SMK Negeri 17 Samarinda, with the results of paired sample t-test data obtained sig. values 2 tailed at 0,000 which is smaller than 0.05 (0,000 <0.05) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there are differences in the average pretest and posttest. Then the effectiveness of the product is tested by comparing the results of the control class posttest and the model class with the results of the Independent sample t-test data obtained sig. values 2 tailed is 0,000 which is smaller than 0.05 (0,000 <0.05) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, also means there are differences in the average value of the posttest model class and the posttest control class. From the results of the data analysis, it can be said that the use of the PQ4R learning model and media concept mapping can be applied in learning activities to improve student learning outcomes at school. Keywords: Learning Tools, PQ4R Model, Media Concept Mapping, Biology Learning Outcomes Abstrak. Guru sebagai tenaga pendidik memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam dunia Pendidikan. Salah satu cara meningkatkan kualitas Pendidikan di sekolah adalah dengan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Dalam menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut diperlukan adanya perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai agar dapat mencapai tujuan akhir yang ingin dicapai oleh guru. Berdasarkan kenyataan di lapangan tidak semua guru biologi dapat menyusun sendiri perangkat pembelajaran pada pembahasan materi tentang sistem reproduksi manusia. Model pembelajaran PQ4R merupakan suatu upaya pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan motivasi dalam diri siswa untuk mempelajari suatu materi pelajaran dan membantu siswa untuk memahami dan mengingat materi yang mereka pelajari dan dengan menggunakan concept mapping dapat sebagai sarana belajar untuk membantu meningkatkan daya ingat siswa dalam belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan metode penelitian kombinasi (mixed methods) yaitu metode yang mengkombinasikan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan lembar validasi, angket dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil validasi oleh Prof. Dr. Endang Widi Winarni, M.Pd dari Universitas Bengkulu mempunyai kriteria valid dengan nilai 76%. Uji coba dilakukan pada siswa kelas x-3 farmasi SMK Negeri 17 Samarinda dengah hasil uji paired sampel t-test diperoleh data nilai sig. 2 tailed sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest. Kemudian diuji efektivitas produk dengan membandingkan hasil posttest kelas kontrol dan kelas model dengan hasil uji Independent sample t-test diperoleh data nilai sig. 2 tailed sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas model dan posttest kelas kontrol. Dari hasil analisis data tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran PQ4R dan media concept mapping dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah. Abstract

The low problem-solving ability in understanding biology lessons makes biology lessons difficult for some prospective teachers to learn. This study aims to determine the contribution of science process skills to higher-order thinking skills. This study uses quantitative methods to analyse the HOTS skills of prospective biology teachers. The quantitative descriptive method used in this study. Data collected from 59 respondents through the Saturated Sampling technique. The instrument used was 54 multiple choice questions with indicators of science process skills and higher-order thinking skills. The data obtained is processed quantitatively with Microsoft Excel. Prospective Biology teachers have the contribution of science process skills with a high level of ability of 13% and a contribution is known. This research proves that the contribution of science process skills to prospective biology teachers to higher-level thinking skills has low categorisation. Rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam memahami pelajaran biologi menyebabkan pelajaran biologi menjadi sulit dipelajari oleh sebagian calon guru. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi keterampilan proses sains terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif untuk menganalisa keterampilan HOTS calon guru biologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah diskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan sampel sebanyak 59 mahasiswa melalui teknik Sampling Jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa 54 soal pilihan ganda dengan indikator keterampilan proses sains dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara kuantitatif dengan Microsoft Excel. Calon guru Biologi memiliki hasil kontribusi keterampilan proses sains dengan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi sebesar 13% dan diketahui adanya kontribusi. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kontribusi keterampilan proses sains calon guru biologi terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi memiliki kategori rendah. Abstract

The aplication of learning of biology often deviates from the planning. The problem that comes is low students activities in learning, because not all students participate in learning. The couple card teams tournament (CCTT) learning model was developed to solve these problems, so that each student was actively involved in learning. The objective of this study is to describe the impact of the application of CCTT learning model on learning activities of students Class XII IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Merlung Tanjung Jabung Barat. This study was a descriptive research, the subjects were the 30 of class XII IPA 2 school year 2018/2019. Research data were collected through observation and documentation methods. The data were analyzed qualitatively through reduction and display of data, and make conclusions. The results showed that CCTT learning model was successfully applied in Class XII IPA 2, which is seen from the average of scores in answering other groups questions by 5,50, which means that each group answered 6 correct answers in each round. The application of this learning model has triggered biology learning activities of students, which can be seen that 25 students involved in learning, with average achievement of sub-indicators of learning activities up to 83.33% in the very active category. The results confirmed that CCTT learning model has a good impact on learning activities and was appropriate applied to triggered students learning activities in subject of biology. Keywoards: CCTT Learning Model, Learning Activities, Biology Abstrak : Pembelajaran biologi dalam penerapannya kerap tidak sesuai dengan perencanaan. Masalah yang muncul ialah aktivitas siswa yang rendah karena tidak semua siswa ikut serta dalam pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran couple card teams tournament (CCTT) dikembangan untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, sehingga setiap siswa terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan model pembelajaran CCTT terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XII IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Merlung Tanjung Jabung Barat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 orang siswa kelas XII IPA 2 tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui metode pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui tahapan reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran CCTT berhasil diterapkan di kelas XII IPA 2, yang terlihat dari rata-rata capaian nilai siswa dalam menjawab pertanyan kelompok lain sebesar 5,50 yang artinya rata-rata setiap kelompok menjawab 6 jawaban benar dalam setiap putaran. Penerapan model pembelajaran CCTT dapat memicu aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XII IPA 2 pada mata pelajaran biologi, yang terlihat dari rata-rata 25 siswa terlibat dalam aktivitas pembelajaran, dengan rata-rata capaian sub-indikator aktivitas belajar hingga 83,33% dalam kategori sangat aktif. Hasil tersebut menegaskan bahwa model pembelajaran CCTT sangat baik diterapkan untuk memicu aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi. Abstract

T The research aims to develop and determine the feasibility of Ferns booklets in Tahura STS. This type of research is Research and Development research using ADDIE learning design models. The booklet that was developed contains 42 types of Ferns that grow in Tahura STS, consisting of 14 types of epipitic Ferns and 28 types of terrestrial Ferns. The booklet that was developed contains scientific names, pictures, classifications and descriptions of ferns that grow in Tahura STS. Validation of media experts was carried out twice with a final score of 85.71% with the category "Very Good". Content expert validation was carried out twice with a final score of 92.8% in the "Very Good" category. Thus the product developed is worth testing. The percentage of small group trials on booklets was 89.6% in the "very good" category. The percentage of large group trials on booklet results was 90.9% in the "very good" category. The lecturer's response to the booklet of Ferns in Tahura STS was 83.9% in the "very good" category. Based on the validation of the experts and the results of small and large group trials and lecturer responses it can be concluded that the booklet of Ferns in Tahura STS is suitable to use as an enrichment for Plant Taxonomy courses. Keywords: booklet, enrichment material, Ferns. Abstrak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan booklet tumbuhan paku di tahura STS. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian Research and Development dengan menggunakan model desain pembelajaran ADDIE. Booklet yang dikembangkan memuat 42 jenis paku yang tumbuh di Tahura STS, terdiri dari 14 jenis paku epipit dan 28 jenis paku teresterial. Booklet yang dikembangkan memuat nama ilmiah, gambar, klasifikasi dan deskripsi dari tumbuhan paku yang tumbuh di Tahura STS. Validasi ahli media dilakukan sebanyak dua kali dengan nilai akhir 85,71% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Validasi ahli materi dilakukan sebanyak dua kali dengan nilai akhir 92.8% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Dengan demikian produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk diujicobakan. Persentase ujicoba kelompok kecil terhadap booklet sebesar 89,6% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Persentase ujicoba kelompok besar terhadap booklet hasil sebesar 90,9% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Respon dosen terhadap booklet tumbuhan paku di Tahura STS sebesar 83,9% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan validasi ahli media dan hasil ujicoba kelompok kecil dan besar serta respon dosen dapat disimpulkan booklet tumbuhan paku di Tahura STS layak digunakan sebagai vahan pengayaan mata kuliah taksonomi tumbuhan. Abstract

One of the teacher's efforts for students to play an active role in learning is to choose media that can practice the skills of conducting experiments, improve critical thinking skills so that students can develop the concept of science. This research is a development research with ADDIE development model. LKPD products are tested before being validated by media experts and material experts. The results of media validation obtained a percentage value of 98.75% with a very good category, and material validation obtained a percentage value of 90.00% with a very good category. The results of small group trials and large group trials were 93.05% and 86.25%, respectively, both included in the excellent category. Furthermore, for the perception of teachers obtained a percentage value of 97.72% with a very good category. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the inquiry-based LKPD was guided on the subject of the classification of living thing for Seventh grade of Yunior High School suitable for use in learning. Abstrak. Salah satu upaya guru agar peserta didik berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran adalah dengan memilih media yang dapat melatih keterampilan melakukan eksperimen, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis sehingga peserta didik dapat mengembangkan konsep IPA. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan media LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada pokok bahasan klasifikasi mahluk hidup, juga untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta didik dan guru terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Produk LKPD sebelum diujicobakan terlebih dahulu divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil validasi media diperoleh nilai persentase 98,75% dengan katagori sangat baik,dan validasi materi diperoleh nilai persentase 90,00% dengan katagori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar secara berurutan adalah 93,05% dan 86,25%, keduanya termasuk dalam katagori sangat baik. Selanjutnya untuk persepsi guru diperolah nilai persentase 97,72% dengan katagori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada pokok bahasan klasifikasi mahluk hidup untuk kelas VII SMP layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of orchid found in the Purwodadi sub-district of Musi Rawas district and produce a booklet from the results of research on orchid inventory that is used as a media of information and learning resources about orchids. The from of this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive research. Samples are taken by roaming method. Data collection techniques consist of observastion, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found 22 type of orhids from orchidales and family orchidaceae and 9 genera. There are two type of orchids, namely natural orchids and hybrid orchids. Natural orchids in Purwodadi sub-district found 6 types of orchids and 6 genera, while hybrids orchids found 16 types of orchids and 5 genera. The development of the booklet was made using the bord and gall development model. Booklet validation was carried out by 3 expert lecturers from STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau namely material experts with 87,5% of the values obtained with a very good and unnecessary revision category, design experts with 77,5% obtained with good categories do not need to be revised, experts language with 75% obtained in good category and does not need to be revised, and 10 STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau biology students as a field test received responses of an average value of 89,7% so it can be concluded that the booklet developed by researchers was stated to be very feasible or valid as a media of information about orchids. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis anggrek di Kecamatan Purwodadi Kabupaten Musi Rawas dan menghasilkan booklet dari hasil penelitian tentang inventarisasi anggrek yang digunakan sebagai media informasi dan sumber belajar mengenai anggrek. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel diambil dengan metode eksploratif dan penggembangan booklet dibuat dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Teknik penggumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 22 jenis anggrek dari ordo Orchidales dan famili Orchidaceae dan 9 genus.  Ada dua jenis anggrek, yaitu anggrek alam dan anggrek persilangan. Anggrek alam di Kecamatan Purwodadi ditemukan 6 jenis anggrek dan 6 genus, sedangkan anggrek persilangan ditemukan 16 jenis anggrek dan 5 genus. Validasi booklet dilakukan oleh 3 dosen ahli dari STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau yaitu ahli materi dengan nilai yang diperoleh 87,5% dengan kategori sangat baik dan tidak perlu direvisi, ahli desain dengan nilai yang diperoleh 77,5% dengan kategori baik dan tidak perlu direvisi, ahli bahasa dengan nilai yang diperoleh 75% dengan kategori baik dan tidak perlu direvisi, dan 10 Mahasiswa biologi STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau sebagai uji lapangan mendapatkan respon nilai rata-rata 89,7%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa booklet yang dikembangkan sangat layak atau valid sebagai media informasi tentang anggrek. Kata kunci: Inventarisasi, Anggrek, Booklet, Musi Rawas.

Abstract

Teaching material is a set of material referred to the national curriculum in order to achieve the competence standards. The purpose of this research is to obtain valid, practical and effective comic-based teaching materials on Pteridophyta for Biology Education students. This research applies the Research and Development method with ADDIE design: Anlysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research was conducted in the Department of Biology Education at the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of the State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar. The instruments used were student and lecturer questionnaires and diagnostic tests consist of multiple choice questions. According to the validation results, the comic-based teaching materials are categorised as valid with the average total of validity value Va = 4.45 (4 ≤ Va <5). Based on the student and lecturer questionnaire results, the practicality of the comic-based teaching materials is categorised as practical with an average value of Va = 4.33 (4aVa <5) and Va = 4.36 (4≤Va <5) respectively. According to the students’ test results, the efficacy of the comic-based teaching materials is categorised as “very good”, indicated by the students’ average score that reached 86.92. Abstrak. Bahan ajar adalah seperangkat materi pelajaran yang mengacu pada kurikulum yang digunakan dalam rangka mencapai standar kompetensi dan kompetensi dasar yang telah ditentukan. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan bahan ajar berbasis komik pada materi Pteridophyta pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan desain ADDIE: Anlysis, Design, Develpment, Implementation and Evaluation. Penelitian ini dilaksankan di Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin Makassar.Instumen yang digunakan berupa angket repson mahasiswa, dosen dan diagnostic test berupa pilihan ganda Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator, tingkat kevalidan bahan ajar berbasis komik materi pteridophyta berada pada kategori valid dengan nilai rata-rata total kevalidan komik pembelajaran yaitu Va = 4.45 (4 ≤ Va < 5). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian respon mahasiswa maka tingkat kepraktisan bahan ajar berbasis komik materi pteridophyta berada pada kategori praktis dengan nilai rata-rata Va = 4.33 (4≤Va<5) dan nilai rata-rata total kevalidan angket respon Dosen terhadap komik pembelajaran yaitu Va = 4.36 (4≤Va<5). Berdasarkan hasil tes belajar mahasiswa tingkat keefektifan bahan ajar berbasis komik materi pteridophyta berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata hasil mahasiswa yaitu 86.92.
